Everyone who has logged in with the new version now has a ticket slot in the data base. This ticket slot can contain a code. If it contains the correct code for a festival going on at that moment, the player will be transferred to another server when logging in.
We still need to experiment with the system a bit. But I imagine we will come up with all sorts of different ways of handing out tickets, in an attempt to offer everybody a chance at attending an Abiogenesis festival.

Maybe it is possible that Abios are now held more frequently, or one Abio follows another, but with each having a different Code, people will get "grouped", so one group will get into the first abio, and another one into the Abio after that?
Or maybe not, and it'll all be just about being on the right place at the right time.
I can't help but kind of agree with Kaoori. This forest halloween was quite a big let down for me really...
I mean I don't want to sound ungrateful and such but. Butbut.
No Kaoori, it's ok. I too is pretty miffed about just having snow. We can have snow at anytime. But only once a year we have a widespread graveyard, a haunted house, a pool of blood, and a field of poppies. It's a tradition and should be followed every year.

Kita - I installed both versions now with Sluggs' epic method, and it feels very good to be able to acces both SpellData and all the new stuff to my liking. I can only recommend it.
Argh, now that's too bad! :c I usually never catch unheralded Mini Abios as well. Now that could be because I am barely online, but so far I've attended every announced Abiogenesis since I joined and it was amazing all the time even though there were so many people causing a huge lag. But I'd hate to never experience something like that again...
Unplugged - That actually sounds like a very good idea! If that would be possible, I think the Gods would even consider such a way. Perhaps it's even on their mind already. However, I am looking forward to hearing about how it'll all be.
Kaoori - I know how you feel, don't feel bad. x: Halloween used to be such an exciting and huge event in the game, if not even the major. But this year it seems like it's become very different...

I'll admit I was like, near tears when nothing happened this year... I woke myself up at 6:30 in the morning to make sure that I could get onto the server in time! But no. I was on for more than 12 hours now, and nothing..
Never been to an Abio and by the looks of it I never will. Not big on the whole server side data in 3.4. Now because I enjoy keeping up with my own data I'll probably never see a God. If I lose my data then it only effects me but if the server crashes then its possible that everyone will lose their data and that could cause hostility. :/ The whole 'ticket' thing upsets me as well but meh. If a person never came on the site and never got a newer version they're kinda screwed.
I don't see why everyone doesn't just have two versions of TEF installed, so that they can go on 3.4 at times like this so they don't get left out of the fun. More of a concern I'd say is if the server doesn't let you in, such as happens for most of us Aussies and many more of you-have tried a few times to get in in the past 24 hours and it's still limboing for me, likely coz of all the other deer being online, so looks like I won't be seeing an Abio even if there is one :B A shame, but I'm glad we have TEF at any rate ♥ I really did hope to see one this time round, but there's always next time And remember, whilst we don't have all the spiffy effects like with Abios, we can still have kickass parties anytime in the forest-don't lose hope, there might be an Abio yet, today! 8D Fingies crossed for you all!
