So ends a Pure One

Legends rise...
Legends fall...
The sun will set...
On us all.
It seems this place completely is as some sort of copy of the world I left in my last life. Beings here do not just have their lives taken by others.
They may also die of their own accord. Or by "natural causes" as some may say.
Admittedly, I did not know the noble stag of pure white that once wandered this forest. I only caught sight of him in passing, one day during my time as a fawn. The last day I would be one as well.
Though I did not know this "child of the moon", in my short time here, I have heard much.
The sky weeps today.
Perhaps the Gods of this forest are in mourning as well.
But I do not mourn.
I regret.
For this noble stag sounds like one I might have liked to meet...
Farewell to thee, Oh Pure One.

This is such a powerful piece, and hearing it from Bastilion is easily and honor and joy.
I've read this many times now, over and over. I'm sure if Wudiin was here, he'd surely thank him for such respects.
WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE RAINING. *is having an emotional rollercoaster over own character* ;-;
You've got a lovely choice
Great work!
@ShimmyShimmy: I think the twin gods are crying too.
( Besides, you know, people can and have requested weather changes, chances are this rain might have been requested in Wudiin's honor. C: )

You can say Bastilion's become my creative writing outlet. His "speaking" style is fun to write in, and his thoughts tend to reflect my own. Take this entry for example. I only know about Wudiin from reading his entries, got fascinated by him, grew to love his character, and now I regret never really meeting him in the Forest. I had to do something in his honor though.
Bastilion's way with words made for the best choice. Even moreso since he's the only one of my deer that would know of Wudiin.
