It snowed overnight here in England, and where I live (in the North West) over 300 schools have been closed. My school was not one of them. Although my mum had other ideas lol.

I was on the bus, about 5mins away from school (well it normally takes 5minutes, it took me a total of 1hour and 40minutes to get to school, a journey which should take 15mins max) and I get a call. It was my mum telling me to get off the bus and come home if school was closed. As I just said, it wasn't...I get in, and there are 5 people in my biology class out of a total of around 30. My mum keeps texting/calling, so I text back that I made it, school is open and I'm here. You know what she texts back? 'Just come home!!! xx' I'm not going to argue with that. I wait until the end of the lesson, tell my teacher my mum wants me home, and he just laughs and says 'I don't blame her, you can go then'

I got the day off school and it snowed about a foot in 3 hours then stopped. YAYAYAY LOL

It snowe about a foot in an hour and took us 3 hours to get picked up from school.
My school is only up my road but my brother's is around 15 minutes away.
Luckily my dad has a big car and just smoothly drives through all the snow, so what kept us getting home so late was traffic. ugh.
-cuddles hot water bottle- I had to have one. It's so damn cold in this snow :'D
Oh and my cat was literally swimming when she hopped out side.
