Under cut sue to size

My name is Skydancer, queen of the stars and sky. When I was born, my mother and father, the king and queen of the sky, told me I was destined for greatness. That time was short-lived. They went to go get some food for me one night and never came back. The royal messenger came and told me they had been eaten by Leo. He was then sentenced to work at the castle as a guard as punishment. I was very sad because I had only been a fawn. I got over it, but in the back of my mind I still miss them. After my parents died, I inherited the throne of the kingdom from them. I find it EXCEEDINGLY boring to run a kingdom in the sky when you can't fly and all you are is a constellation. What worried my subjects most was the interest I showed in a forest on the Earth. They would say things like: "You aren't a land-deer, you are a Sky-Deer, Sky!" and, "Start paying attention to the real world, Skydancer!" THAT particular comment sends my gears a-twirling. "This isn't the real world!" I said. "This is a world where everything is always perfect and nothing goes wrong!" They sent me to my room. I heard a guard say, "Just some teenage temper. My son was the same way." I felt like my head was going explode with rage! I burst out of the room and ran all the way to where the sky ended and there was a sheer drop to Earth. "STOP!!!" Leo thundered. I said, "Say that to my scythes!" raising my sword like antlers menacingly. He matched me blow for blow with his powerful claws. I ran beneath the lion’s legs and jumped off the edge. I was speeding down like a comet. I knew I would die, but I would die in The Endless Forest.

When I opened my eyes, there was a stag looking at me with great concern. He had large antlers with candles on them, a brown pelt with yellow stripes on it and beautiful brown eyes. “Are you ok?” he asked. “Yeah,” I answered. “What’s your name doe? Mine is Tambo” Tambo asked. “Skydancer. Pleasure to meet you,” I answered groggily. “What happened to you?” asked Tambo. “You look like you’ve been hit by an avalanche!” He laughed to himself. I got to my feet and answered, “Good guess. Close enough.” I shook my pelt and noticed it was covered in leaves. “What is wrong with your pelt and tail?” He asked. I looked back and saw my zebra-like tail, and my starry pelt
“I fell from the sky, so my tail must have gotten stretched” I thought. Then I noticed a light above his head. “What is that?”I asked. “That is my pictogram. It’s my name.” Two strange deer appeared before me and asked “Do you want a pictogram? What is your name?”

A Burst of light appeared and then I looked up and saw my own pictogram. That is your name Sky” and then they disappeared.

“And this is where I live” Tambo said, gesturing at the enormous tree. I leaped to try to see the top and immediately wings sprouted from my back and instinctively, I flapped them. I got to the top of the tree and jumped down and broke my leg. Miraculously, it healed itself in an ear-flick. Tambo Watched all this, open-moouthed.
