Love.

How I crave its luring scent. The way it strokes my heart strings and tempts my lips to smile. Knowledge of the feeling of love makes me forget about reality.

But I know that love is something I will never be allowed to have. My curse brings with it the fear of being a burden. I cannot allow myself to be loved. It will only bring them suffering.

So why does my heart still flutter at the sound of his name, and the sight of his set...?

*blinks* *tilts her head, eyes squinting queriously* Did I offend, Plume? I'mnot even entirely certain what I meant by that phrase, but it was not meant in an unkind manner. *looks down, pondering, confused*...

Yeah...it's tough. He hasn't spoken to me in quite some time, so I feel a slight bit...well...I'm questioning my own sanity.

And my sister, she meant no offense...in fact, I believe that you, Plume, are the only one keeping her from being absorbed in her own dark queries.

Do not let Taint know I said that...you know how she is. Denial is an art form, for her.

Oh no! She wasn't offended or anything. I think... she was really happy or something, but is kinda... I dunno, shocked...? But in a good way... It's weird. ^^;;;

I'm glad Plume's doing that for Taint, she's glad too... Mae might be a little simple and not quite understand Taint's taint, but boy, she has a good heart... x)
