Satomi Sohma
and Amos
Satomi Sohma was once an elderly woman, married to a man by the name of Amos Fletcher. Amos passed away many years ago, but a profound encounter with an African gray parrot convinced her that his spirit had been reborn. Somehow, the pair ended up in the Endless Forest. Satomi doesn't know how or why, but she has always been quite the courageous little lady and sees this new development simply as a new adventure.
Identity
Amos is quite the character, as most African gray parrots are. Careful and perhaps a bit shy around strangers, Amos almost seems like a little guard dog for Satomi. She often scolds him for his suspicious behavior, telling him that she'll speak to whomever she wants and that she can handle herself. It isn't uncommon to hear Satomi talking to Amos, though Amos' vocabulary is limited to the norm of his species.
