Well. I'm not surprised, but I am disappointed at the immature fashion of their departure, and the upset it's caused amongst their friends.
Perhaps, eventually, they'll both remember that friendship means not deserting without saying a decent goodbye, and slamming the door on their way out.
It's likely they have behaved this way to "get back at" their enemies or some such. If this is the case- well. Words fail me.
