Okay.. I admit I'm nervous posting this, I don't wanna upset people, I know no one has a claim on any given "image" or "look" but I still expect to catch some hell for this. >>; But this is how I wanted him to look, I've wanted a character with a face like this for years, so.. *braces for maulfest* e___e;

I love his face and the shape

I love his face and the shape of his antlers. I'm not sure why any body would be mad at you though, there's lots of skull faced chars with the zombie antlers. Looks fine to me.

SHL: Well I'm more worried because of a few other more well-known characters whose faces Saba's may resemble more than I'm happy about. I wanted to make a deer with this mask and antlers because.. I want to start to break the stereotype (false or not) that all skull-masked, zombie-antlered deer are violent, aggressive, overly protective, etc. I know there's already been a ton of debate over the interpretation of their temperament but this set especially.. or the mask and antlers anyway has quite a rep due to some famous deer who wear them. Woden's a good example of a deer that breaks that stereotype; he's so sweet and friendly, I'd like to add in a deer like that, so I did. <3

Ohhh yes, I'm planning to make a zombie character that resembles those traits too, but unfortunately I have to wait 'till Halloween in order to actually create him :C BUT, I've been waiting since March, so I guess it'll arrive pretty quickly ^^ /ramble

and no one is "original" anymore when it comes to most designs

typically we are all inspired by something else

I know what you mean by the

I know what you mean by the Stereo-typing with the Skull Masks. I see it all to often at times "Omfg it has a skull it must be evil/bad/whatever." It's kinda the same a bit with the Great White Antlers, those seem to be associated with 'evil' deer from time to time as well.

While Nightmare had his times in the past where yes, he was considered evil... he's anything but that now. He's more passive neutral until bothered to an extent then he'll be all D< *rage* XD

This is cute and I love how you did those Zombie Antlers.

Z: Ty. <3 And I HAVE a tablet, I've had one for years.. I do have GIMP, but.. I'm still just experimenting with it, I'm not good with these types of things and I think I'd be more inclined to try digital stuff if I had the patience to get the layers working. x.x And transparency and stuff.. it's all just a pain to me, since I have no experience with it lD;

I miss photoshop, the layout was something I found easier to work with. ;; It's a tad confusing..

Babeh, you have the right to post whatever you want on here and if someone gets butthurt about it just ignore them. You are free to draw how you want and draw things the way you desire, and to be honest there will be designs out there that look slightly the dame. I know no one has come up with anything as... elaborate as Nightmare yet but there's only a matter of time I'm sure XD

So long as they are different in personality, etc. I don't see any reason to be afraid or nervous about posting such a thing. Again, if someone gets butthurt about it, just ignore them. It's your art, your character, you can draw them how you please :3
