Rut Thoughts.

"I see. Blood... needs to be shed in order to create life. Does that mean, in the death of your opponent, you, Victorious, have become responsible for upholding the balance? If there were one less drop of blood shed than there were babes made, would the balance be upset?"

"The intention is not to

"The intention is not to kill. Never, ever to kill. Not for the honourable nor sane, anyway." The Knight pauses. "Perhaps I cannot speak for all, but for me it is mere sport. I lock tines with another and we test each other, it's a grown deer's game. Some take it to the extremes."

A shrug. "It isn't such an ordeal. Some take it to extremes, however. That is unfortunately the fault of the individual."

"Not to harm, yet you use

"Not to harm, yet you use your antlers and they bleed. You put your back into bettering your opponent by pointing your sharpest parts at him." A statement, or was it a question? It was hard to tell.
