Fae would LOVE to RP with you all!!! EVERYONE is welcome! Fae can be silly and inappropriate at times. She trusts quickly, is kind, and can be moody at times. She's never rude, though.

Short scenario:
A light breeze was blowing, gently ruffling the fur on the butterfly doe. Fae was relaxing next to "her" stump, down by the pond. She loved laying by the tree stump - it made her feel safe for some reason. It was her prefered place to sleep, and she was always relaxed there. It also afforded an excellent view of the pond. She could watch the other deer and fawns, playing by the water, spell spamming . . . .
Her ears picked up movement behind her. She turned her head to see who was approaching.
Wow, seriously? Posted for 8
((Aww, I'll gladly RP with
The source of the noise was a young doe who bore a striking pelt that was as blue as the midnight sky. The nape of her neck was painted with flecks of light green that shimmered in the midday sunlight, appearing as if her pelt was made of the feathers of a magpie. Her face was pale, yet her eyes bright and kindly. Feeling particularly chipper this day, as she normally was, she had decided to make her way to the pond for a drink after a good romp through the forest.
Upon seeing the other doe, however, she stopped short and gazed at her kin from a distance. "Oh...hello, there! I do hope I am not disturbing you," she called out in her soft voice, which seemed to bear a hint of playfulness to it. Her short tail wagged slightly, her large ears perked and her head slightly tilted.
(Yay! Thank you!!) Fae
Fae noticed the beautiful dark doe walking to the pond when she stopped and spoke to her.
"No," Fae responded, "not at all." She stood, her monarch colored pelt catching the light, and bowed.
"My name is Fae. It's a pleasure to meet you!" She smiled. There was something about this doe she liked all ready. "I need to get off my rump anyway. Mind if I join you for a drink?" Fae cocked her head inquisitively.
(btw, I have no clue how to change the colors of words )
((You are most welcome! As
A smile formed on the dark-pelted doe's face as the other spoke, promptly bowing in return and flicking her ears happily. "It's a pleasure to meet you too, Fae. My name is Uruu!" she replied eagerly. At Fae's request, Uruu bounced slightly on her front legs, a soft laugh escaping her. "I would not mind in the least; it's always nice to have company when relaxing," she replied, trotting forward to close the distance between the two does a little.
Smiling wide, she tilted her head again and trotted to the water's edge. "Shall we?" Uruu said as she looked over her shoulder at Fae, the flowers upon her brow rustling slightly.
(We'll see if it works - the
She smiled again, curious, her ears flicking lightly.
Uruu sipped at the water
The doe's words suddenly trailed off, and she stood still and gazed off into the distance. Her eyes were sullen and devoid of the cheerfulness she had possessed before. After a moment, she shook her head a little and gazed at Fae apologetically. "I am sorry...it is nothing." Shifting from foot to foot, she smiled up at Fae. "Your name is very lovely as well. Does it have a meaning also?" she asked cheerfully, as if nothing had happened.
((Hm, that's strange...it should still show up in the preview. I'm sure you'll get it working in no time. ^_^))
Fae's ears dropped slightly.
(hmmmm, still can't get it to work)
((Hmm... What exactly are you
The smile found its way back to Uruu's face at Fae's explanation. "Reliable...that is a very good quality to have. I am sure that it suits you as well," she replied, and then tilted her head slightly at the added comment. Shaking her head, she replied with a small smile, "It is alright, Fae; you did nothing wrong. It is nothing to worry about." To make her point, she gave the other doe a gentle nuzzle, and her ears perked up at the suggestion.
"Oh yes, I would like that very much!" she replied, perhaps a bit too enthusiastically. Uruu reared slightly, prancing to the side excitedly. Fae was soon to find out that Uruu was quite the energetic deer!
Here's what I type for the
Fae nuzzled Uuru back, gratefull she hadn't said something wrong. She chuckled happily, "It would be fun to run to the playground! I LOVE jumping off the rocks!"
She trotted happily in a circle, tail raised, excitement bubbling up. Fae loved running through the forest, jumping off of the rocks. And to have a new friend to run with . . . . . she could burst she felt so happy.
"Hey, you wanna race?" she asked excitedly, pawing at the ground.
Wait, did it work???
Can I join in here? I
A tiny deer, stag-like but in miniature, crashed raucously through the underbrush, flushing out a few squirrels which he then gave chase too, laughing as he pranced after them. He was feeling rather pleased with being small, the “mini” spell reducing him more than half his normal size but doubling his mischievous nature by ten fold. He called after the fleeing squirrels, amused by the fawn-like voice that issued from his throat.
“What fun, what fun!” he thought. A murder of crows was flushed out unexpectedly in front of him and he looked up at them still running full tilt forward. A tree stump appeared out of no where. He ran straight into it and was sent tumbling down in a cloud of dust.
“Where did that come from,” he mumbled, his usual good cheer dampened by the harsh fall. He lay in a heap trying to catch his breath and feeling out things. “Anything broke?” he said to himself. He twitched his ears. One at a time. They felt okay. He wiggled his hooves. Okay too. Shakily he got to his feet and looked at his dusty legs. “Umph! He exclaimed. “Now I’m all dirty!” The delicate posies still adorned his massive rack though and that made him smile. His massive, “mini” rack. He giggled at himself.
Then he noticed the doe sitting by the stump that he had oh so recently crashed into.
“Um, hello. I’m Woden.” He told her.
(you sure can!!) Fae heard a
Fae heard a loud crashing, birds screeching as if in fright. What the heck was that? she thought. She turned around in time to see a small stag barreling towards her. She only had time to brace for impact. Eyes squinted, muscles tense, she waited for the inevitable.
She heard the thud, sensed the vibrations, but felt nothing. Amazingly, the stag managed to hit only the stump - not her.
She heard him talking to himself. She cocked her head, amused. He introduced himself - and sounded quite nice. Although his voice doesn't match his antlers, she thought.
"Nice to meet you, Woden. My name is Fae. I'm very glad you didn't crash into me!" she chuckled. She bowed and asked him, "What exactly were you chasing?" Her dark ears flicked as she grinned at him. He seems fun, she thought.
((Hm...it looks like you got
Uruu's smiled widened at the mention of a race...oh, how she loved to run around! Before she could eagerly agree to the challenge, however, the sound of racing hooves and then a loud thud from nearby practically made her jump out of her pelt. With a yelp, Uruu took cover behind Fae, crouched and shivering, her eyes wide and her ears swiveling wildly.
The sounds of bemused muttering reached her ears, however, and she raised her head curiously, but only slightly. She blinked as Fae addressed the creature that had caused such a racket, and she suddenly felt ashamed. Surely, she made a complete fool of herself in front of her new friend. 'Why must I be such a coward?' Uruu thought fiercely to herself, a small sigh escaping her.
Looking up, she fixated her gaze on the curious creature before her and Fae. Indeed, it was a stag who bore an impressive rack, yet his body was quite small in stature. She couldn't help but think that the weight on his head could be the reason why he crashed, and she giggled softly at the thought. Watching him with inquisitive eyes, she gingerly spoke up in a small voice, "Woden...that is an interesting name. Are...are you alright? It sounds like you hit that stump pretty hard..."
Woden watched the doe get up
He stood up straighter and puffed out his little mini chest, “I was chasing some squirrels. But I got attacked by some viscous crows. And that stump too apparently.” He said head tall, “But don’t worry,” he added hurriedly, “I’m quite alright.” And adding, as he’d almost forget, “So sorry I almost ran you over.” And blushed again.
“So why are you sitting there, anyways?”
Oops, sorry, Uruushou, I didn’t mean to ignore your doe, Uruu, I thought these were separate encounters. I’m new to this RP thing and don’t know the in’s and out’s.
((Aw, no worries at all!
(I'm fine either way - I'm
sighthoundlady: Fae chuckled. "Yes, those tree stumps have a way of jumping out of no where!" She snickered again at the thought, falling over she started laughing so hard. "Sorry," she giggled, "I'm not laughing at you. I just pictured a stump running around with an evil rage face knocking over deer! Couldn't help myself!"
She wiped tears from her eyes with her slender leg and smiled at Woden. "Whooooo. Um, I sit here because this is, well, my stump. I mean, I don't own it or anything. But I just like sitting by it. I'm comfortable here and I can see the beautiful pond. I love to deer-watch." she narrowed her eyes and grinned, "You can see some funny stuff when others don't think you're looking!"
Uruushou: (we'll pretend there was the crash and whatnot, but maybe that Woden doesn't join us?)
Fae looked back at Uuru. It appeared that she was quite startled by all the racket the other deer had made. She smiled at Uuru softly and nuzzled her. "Don't worry, she said. "I was startled too. I'm just too stubborn and bull-headed for my own good!" Fae raised her right front leg high, stomped it down, then did the same with her left, monarch coat glistening over her slight frame.
"How about that race?" she asked, a grin spreading over her face once again.
((Sure, that works! I've
As much as she was still embarrassingly startled by the racket, Uruu was instantly comforted by the nuzzle and the reassuring tone in Fae's voice. Blinking, she looked up at the other doe, tilting her head slightly. 'She...she was startled, too?' she thought to herself in wonder. Uruu laughed softly at Fae's response, her tail wiggling back and forth. "Well, that is surely a relief! I suppose I can be pretty stubborn at times, too."
Her heart started to beat a little faster at the mention of a race, and Uruu reared up playfully with a happy bleat. "Oh, I would love that very much!" Uruu replied enthusiastically. Unable to contain herself, she bolted towards the nearest tree, swung around it and bounded back to the pond, her hooves touching the shore as she faced Fae again, grinning widely. "How about we race to the Playground? I bet I can get there before you!" she challenged with a giggle.
Fae watched Uuru race to the
"I accept your challenge!" Fae squeeled. She lowered her head, neck stretched out, and rotated her ears back. She glanced over at Uuru, making sure she was at the ready as well.
Fae pawed at the ground. "Are you ready?" she asked, a grin starting to appear. Uuru looked ready, her dark coat seemed to ripple with anticipation. Fae nodded, her adrenaline surging, muscles tense. "On your mark," Fae said. "Get set . . . . .GO!" Fae sprung forward, hooves pounding the ground. She sucked air into her lungs in deep gulps, nostrils flaring. She sensed Uuru behind her, closing in fast. I can beat her, she thought, I can. As she thought this, she spotted Uuru next to her. She didn't even seem out of breath! She's as quick as the wind, Fae thought.
The playground was coming up, closer and closer. Fae could see the large flat rocks, sun reflecting off of them. She could also see Uuru's rump. She had passed Fae, but was not too far off.
Nope, she thought, I won't beat her - but bisquits is this fun!!
A wide grin appeared on
Uruu was concentrating so much on her surroundings that, ironically, she suddenly noticed that Fae was actually ahead of her...but not by much. She grinned, admitting to herself that she was impressed with Fae's speed. Pushing herself forward, Uruu quickly caught up to the other doe, and she cast a playful if not somewhat teasing grin. Indeed, she was soon ahead of Fae by a few heads, tail still flagged tall and acting as a rudder against the wind.
The earth was beginning to harden as Uruu sprinted up a small hill, the Playground now in sight. With a happy bleat, Uruu leapt up onto one of the flat rocks and posed dramatically, grinning from ear to ear. "Oh, that was so much fun...and you are so very fast!" she called out to Fae as she reached the rock as well, panting a little after such a sprint. Leaping back down from the rock, she trotted up to Fae and nuzzles her gently. "I never thought I'd meet my match! I just cannot believe I have never seen you around here before, especially seeing how we are so much alike," she continued breathlessly, ears flicking about almost comically.

Fae reached the rocks, out of breath, but laughing at the fun of the race. "Wow!" Fae panted. "You're FAST! And that was fun!" She nuzzled Uuru back. "We need to run together more often! And I can't believe I haven't seen YOU before!" Her ears flicked around, matching Uuru's movements and she blushed. "What should we do now? We could have a dance party!" she laughed at the thought.
