This is just for an RP with dreambeast only since I'm better with one on one than multiple person ;u;
If for some reason you wanna RP with a noob like me, come over here ;u;
The stars above twinkled in the night sky, and the stardust fawn Knrs looked into the pond at his reflection. It faded into the reflection of the sky, and he remembered being a part of that world, remembered being a galaxy way out there. But now he was a deer in the forest, as he wanted to be. And he would make new friends here - how excited he was for that!
Suddenly, he heard a sound. He lifted his head and turned his ears to the source. Someone was coming? He kept his gaze fixed and his guard up, waiting for whatever it was to appear.
The older stag's joints ached as he strolled slowly between the trees. His head hung slightly under the weight of his antlers after carrying them for the long day. He saw something glow out of the corner of his eye, and turned to see what it was.
He stopped and stared curiously at the fawn from a distance, taken aback by their appearance, before slowly approaching them.
"H-hello there..."
(OOC: Forgive me if this isn't any good orz, just trying to get into it and I've never done anything with wheelchair before either)
OOC: It's wonderful. Don't worry so much, mm? You can chip the rust off with me and the others here in TEF - we don't mind rusty RPing. Also, characterization through RP is probably the best way to get to know your character~
Knrs watched for a moment, looked over the older stag carefully... His body flickered out of focus as his cloudy dust body floated over to about two yards before the newcomer. With ears pinned back, Knrs began to sniff at the stag - not because he could smell, but because he saw it to be custom here in the forest to greet others in this way. Then he stood back, head cocked with starry ears flopped sideways, waiting for the stag to react.
Wheelchair watched the fawn curiously, entranced by the look of the stardust, but snapped out of it when they got close enough to sniff him. He awkwardly sniffed back, not used to being very social, then just looked down at them.
"Do you have a name, little one...?" he asked in his softspoken baratone.
After a short moment of thought, Knrs hopped up, excited from the contact with another deer, and jumped a circle around the stag. He stood behind the dark deer and carved "K-N-R-S" into the dirt with a blurry, glowing white hoof. Then he looked up at the newcomer, a questioning haze over his cocked head.
"...Knrs?" he read somewhat awkwardly. "What an interesting name. I'm Wheelchair, but it's more of a nickname given to me than an actual name... But it's good enough I suppose." he added with a faint forced smile.
Knrs nodded a couple of times, hopping back and forth and whisking his tail as if he were very unable to sit still. His ears swiveled. He adored having someone else around, and especially someone who would speak to him. He nudged forward, urging the buck to say more.
He kept up his smile as he watched the fawn hopping around. "So what are you doing up so late Krns? If you're looking to play, please forgive me since I won't be able to do much...." he said, frowning slightly, his sentence trailing off.
(OOC: sorry, got dragged into a livestream and watched my friend play audio surf lD and I think imma head off to bed, but I'll post in the morning if you've posted c:)
Knrs stood still and watched Wheelchair, ears poised. Then he turned his head to the pond and beckoned the stag to come to follow him before bounding off to the banks of the water. He watched the stag, waiting to be joined by him.
Wheelchair watched Krns for a minute, before slowly following along. There was a noticeable limp in his step as his hips were starting to bother him, though he tried to hide it so he wouldn't bother the fawn with it.
When he approached the lake, he watched the water lap at the shore for a moment before looking back to the stunningly bright fawn. "So, what are we doing here little one?"
With a gentle touch, Knrs poked the surface of the water with his nose, causing a ripple in the clear pond. The reflection of the stars moved around before settling once again. The fawn glanced up at the stars - they seemed to glow just a little brighter as he stared at them - and leaned closer to the stag. The touch felt like cold sandpaper, but very gently so. Then he glanced at Wheelchair, ears a bit laid back.
Wheelchair watched the reflections in the water, and flinched sightly out of surprise when the fawn leaned closer, but quickly relaxed and looked at Krns with a gentle smile. "You know, the stars out tonight look a bit like you little one," he said with a soft chuckle. "I can't help but wonder how it is you sparkle and glow like that. I've never seen anything like it. But what would this foolish old man know anyway, eh?" he added with a humored tone still in his voice.
Knrs flicked his ears and nodded his head up and down. His nose pointed up at the stars for a moment before he looked back in the water. His reflection joined that of the night sky. With a forehoof, he pointed to himself in the water's surface, then scanned the rest of the sky in a single circle. His gaze turned back to Wheelchair, and he cocked his head to see if the stag understood...
He watched the fawn's actions, and cocked his head in confusion. "So, you look like this because... you are like the stars...?" he said slowly, not sure if he understood correctly, and guessing he didn't.
The stardust fawn nodded a couple of times, glowing a bit brighter. He then walked beside the buck and gently touched its hip with his nose, nuzzling gently. He gave Wheelchair another questioning glance, waving a hoof forward at the back legs of his company.
Wheelchair watched the fawn, still not sure about what he just learned, but decided not to question it as there were many strange and fantastical newcomers so often.
He tensed up slightly at the fawn's touch as he was still sore, but still smiled gently through it. "Oh, so you're wondering about these old legs, huh? Well, I've had problems with them even when I was young... The cool air is just getting to 'em, nothing too important," he said, keeping the smile up, and then finally let himself lay down, his joints popping on the way down. "They just keep me from being as fast as everyone else really, or I'll loose my footing," he added.
The glowing fawn curled up gently in the grass next to Wheelchair, leaning the opposite direction so he could face the buck. He nudged a weed growing out of the ground, ears pointed at the stag. With a hoof extending, he gently pressed his foreleg against Wheelchair's. The lower half of his body fell out of form and blanketed the lower half of his new friend, hoping it would at least be a small comfort to have the stars hold him together.
Wheelchair smiled at the fawn, and relaxed a bit more. He was truly enjoying the company of his new little friend, as most fawns would have gotten bored of him and left by now. He looked back out at the lake as he laid with Krns, and watched the shadows of a few restless koi, and listened to the singing frogs. He didn't even notice as his nose started to bleed as it often did.
At first, Knrs's gaze followed Wheelchair's out into the pond's surface. He watched the koi as well, his ears swiveling at the sounds of the frogs. He turned to see the reaction of Wheelchair. His body flickered at the sight of blood running from his companion's nose. With a slow, gentle motion, he pressed his dusty nose under the steady stream of blood, carefully trying to make it better. His muzzle began to glow quite brightly, as if all of the effort to light him had moved to his nose.
Wheelchair saw Krns' light get closer, and looked at him. He was about to ask what he was doing, but felt the blood trickle down his chin and stopped. "Oh, don't worry about this Krns, it happens all the time," he told him with a reassuring smile, but didn't know if he should move away since he was unsure if it would offend the fawn.
After a pause, Knrs pulled his head away. The bright glow on his muzzle faded to the same as the rest of the body. He watched Wheelchair intently, his lower body still covering the hips of his companion. The dark of the night started to lift into the sky as the sun began to rise, turning everything gold. Knrs's hoof gently tapped at Wheelchair's shoulders, urging him to do or say something.
After Krns moved, Wheelchair lowered his head slightly, and wiped this face with a foreleg. After a pause, he slowly stood up, and walked over closer to the water and attempted to wash off his face. When he was satisfied with getting the blood off, using his reflection as a guide, he turned back to Krns. With the morning light being slightly dim, he had missed some and not noticed it. "Well little one, with it getting brighter out, the others will be starting to wake up soon. I won't hold it against you if you went to find someone more lively than this old man to spend time with," he said with a slight, forced, smile. He wanted to continue to spend time with the fawn, but knew he was probably just going to bore them.
After watching the stag cleanse himself and listening as he spoke, Knrs carefully stood up and shook out his dusty body in case it might have collected some dirt or plants. Tendrils of rainbow light scattered around him before slowly conjoining with his being again. Then the fawn bounded around the stag, jumping through the water and coming back around to his side to gently press his flank against Wheelchair's. He looked up happily at the buck, hoping his companion would allow him to, well... accompany him on his travels.
He watched the fawn, and when they came close again and looked at him like that, a warm smile spread across his face. "Alright little one... Where to?"
The fawn thought for a moment, then turned and walked behind the stag. There, he faced the direction Wheelchair did, signalling that he would follow wherever his companion would lead.
Wheelchair chuckled. "Alright then... how about we just take a stroll until we come across something interesting? Would that work for you?" he asked the fawn, looking back at him, the wooden dolls on his antlers getting knocked around from the action.
Knrs nodded, feeling quite pleased that Wheelchair accepted him to join in an adventure around the woods. He glowed a bit brighter, turning to face away from the pond and out into the expanse that was the Endless Forest, waiting for his companion to guide them out.
