Jeremy paced in the garden,he was anxious because Sierra wasn't in her room, and she did notappear to be anywhere in the castle.Hoggle was passing by and Jeremy stopped him.

"Do you know where Lady Sierra is?" he questioned him.
The goblin's brow furrowed "No I haven't,has she gone missing "he inquired.
"It's possible ,she wasn't in her room and the other goblins told me she didn't sleep there last night."he said worried.

"You can't really hold a candle to their information"Hoggle mused."But they would never lie about Lady Sierra"he said truthfully. All the goblins were fond of her it was unlikely that they would lie about something as important as this.

Jeremy bit his lip"Where could she be"he said more so to himself.
Hoggle looked at this man wondering how he knew her,but put that aside.
"The Goblin King, must know about this, she could just be wandering around,or she could have been taken.Either way he will get her back" Hoggle reassured Jeremy

Jeremy eyes grew colder as he spoke ."That won't be necessary,it is I who shall find her"he said dertermined."Your king cares nothing for her,and has abandoned her.Tell your king that I will gladly relieve him of her,and that he should concern himself with other things. It is I who shall be there to take her hand and comfort her, with no interference from him"he snarled before leaving.

" OOhh boy Quite a trouble maker that one.The king is not going to take kindly to those words."
Hoggle raced to find the Goblin King to tell him about Sierra's disapperance, and also the bold words of the Prince of Dragons.

Meanwhile in the meadow not very far from the castle Sierra lay sleeping against her horse Little Prince. The suns rays soon woke her from her slumber.Yawning she stood up and went to the nearby pond to wash her face. Before she could reach the water she slipped on some the surrounding rocks.

She yelped as her left foot got caught in between two rocks. As she fell her trapped foot twisted.A snap was heard and shortly after it came a scream. After calming herself she got her foot from between the rocks.

She tried to stand but immediately fell to the ground in pain.Little Prince came over and stood by her side."Good boy "she said kindly to him but she knew she could not ride him.
How was she to get back to the castle now?She sighed she knew the situation wasn't good but still some one would recognize that she had gone missing.

At this moment Jeremy was readying himself to ride out to search of Sierra, determined he would be the first to save her.But his intentions went farther than that. The message, he gave to Hoggle to tell the Goblin King was polite in his opinion. But it held deaper meanings in between the lines. He smilled to think that if the Goblin King did not see that he was the one that was going to win and have Sierra's heart the probablity that he would actually achieve this would be in his favor.

He would just pray that he wouldn't but even so the Goblin King is cunning fellow.

however you want maybe from

however you want maybe from where Hoggle tells him what Jeremy said.

As all that knew him would

As all that knew him would have surely predicted, the King of Goblins was not amused.

In the throneroom of his castle he paced back and forth, dismissing all but Hoggle from his presence, black heeled boots clicking harshly on the stone floor. A gloved finger was pressed tightly to those thin lips, eyes narrowed and unforgiving. Strands of pale-blonde hair lay in dissaray atop his head and down his back and shoulders.

"'Cares nothing for her'..."

He felt rather than saw Hoggle flinch.

Jareth had already seen Sierra's predicament - Jeremy, it seemed, did not realise that the Goblin King had the unique ability to conjure magical crystals at will. Nor did he realise, apparently, that the Goblin King was also neither Fae nor human, not at soul - he was an owl. His true form was the barn owl, and that was how it would stay.

"Take her hand he may, but I will 'interfere' as I see fit," he snarled, whipping around to glare at the dwarf as if it was all his fault.

The king transformed into the large, cream-white bird that was his true form, and then he was off, eyes scouring the ground below for the poor girl that had fallen - metaphorically as well as literally.

"Curse it all "she muttered

"Curse it all "she muttered under her breath. Her ankle had started to swell and a burning sensation was unforgiving.

She knew she had to get back to the castle and see a healer. But as to how she did not know.
Little Prince nudged her trying to distract her from the pain.

In the distance one could hear the pounding off hooves.Jeremy came into view, but Sierra's expression was less than pleased. She was not one to admit defeat and accept help, only on rar occasion had she done so.

She hid her ankle and s put on a convincing smile,as Jeremy unmounted and proceeded to approach her.
"You are safe"he questioned her.
"Very much so "she said calmly which was truthful she was only injured.

Reilf washed over his features as he extending his hand for her to take.
Sierra eyed the hand knowing that if she stood her injury would be reveiled.
"Did you think that I was in danger"she questioned trying to put him off

"I was merely worried for you,the Goblin King seems to not know how to treat a woman such as yourself,so I took job in looking for you"he said as if the Goblin King had given him permission to do so.

Sierra was taken back, and a little hurt at his words. It seemed to her that the Goblin King was passing her off to someone else, like a play thing.Regaining her composer her tongue became sharper."The Goblin King has done many things for me that I should be greatful for.He should not have to resort to sending others after me.If he does not find it in his interest to look for me himself, then that should be the end of that."she could see a bird flying overhead as she spoke but didn't pay no mind to it.

It was also during her rampage that she stood up and tried to walk towards Little Prince.Immediately she began to fall. But Jeremy put his hands around her waist to stop her from falling.

"Your injured "he said concerned
"Let go of me"she said as she righted herself
"Let go of me "she said slowly but sternly.
But he did not.
"Why would I do that" he asked holding her more firmly to him.

Circling lower, he could hear

Circling lower, he could hear what they were saying - after all, his hearing was fantastic in owl form, though it was enhanced as a Fae as well. His vision practically turned red, feathers ruffled as the owl perched itself in a large tree nearby first, just watching.

And then Jeremy's hands were on her waist.

The Goblin King was a possessive man - this was a fact. Sierra was not his nor did he think that was the case, but at the same time, he was loathe to let someone touch her - particularly when she had told them not to. And frankly, this 'Prince of Dragons' was grating on his nerves.

In the bird's place, there stood the king at the bottom of the tree, leaning against its trunk.

His eyes were unbelievable. If one were to anger a universe, it would have eyes like Jareth's.

"Because, frankly, 'Dragon-Prince'," Jareth drawled coldly, his tone turning mocking as he spoke Jeremy's title. "Disobeying a lady's request is not a display of good manners at all, is it?"

That was his way of silently, subtly getting back at Jeremy for saying that Jareth did not know how to treat a woman.

"Better than ignoring it and

"Better than ignoring it and letting it waste away he retoted. To give no affection or love such as her, should be a crime."he rolled on.

"If you don't release your hands from around my waist,a prison cell would be the kindest thing you'd luckly ever see she said.

With that he gradually loosened his grip but a arm remained around her shoulders. He quickly kissed her cheek and swooped her in his arms.

"What the heck are you doing"she asked bewildered.
"Taking you back to the castle"he said not referincing which castle because he intended to take her to his.

Sierra continued to struggle

There was no chance of Jareth

There was no chance of Jareth just standing there and letting some cretin just steal an injured Sierra right infront of him. The king strode forwards, face twisted into a snarl, and then his vice-like grip was on Jeremy's shoulder.

"Put her down. Don't embarrass yourself." He was smiling coldly, but his heart was pounding with unease. Did Sierra dislike him? Was he wrong, not letting Jeremy take her away? Would she be better off elsewhere?

The High King would ruin him if he lost her.

But that aside, he had his own selfish reasons for keeping her with him.

He loved her. Perhaps not in the way she would have liked, but he still loved her.

And that was enough.

Jeremy laughed at the king

Jeremy laughed at the king but let out a gust of air and fell forward on Sierra.
Little Prince had just headbutted him in the back and was know imaptiently pawing the ground.

Jeremy muttered curses under his breath.

Sierra pushed him off of her and glared at him as she stood up."Good boy she whispered to her horse. She stood up and uneasily shifted her weight.

Jeremy held out her hand for her to take.

Oh, he could have kissed that

Oh, he could have kissed that horse.

Actually, he was not that weird, or desperate. Jareth watched Jeremy with the coldest stare he could muster, silently willing Sierra not to take Jeremy's hand.

Sarah, years ago, hadn't taken his. Hadn't let him keep her.

Jareth didn't offer his hand. He didn't want to face the trauma of having to let it drop if she shook her head. He didn't want Jeremy to see that.

"Sierra."

His tone was sharp.

"Sierra, he's a facade. A cruel and selfish facade."

Cruel and selfish Jareth might have been as well - but he didn't hide it.

She didn't take his hand but instead looked at Jareth who did not extend his hand. She was hurt a little by this but did not show it.
"Jareth I will not take up for him in this case, nor do I agree with his actions as of know. But do you you personally know him"she questioned him.

Jeremy lowerd his hand but slowly moved closer torwards her.

Truthfully, face as calm and

Truthfully, face as calm and blank as a sheet of paper, Jareth folded his arms across his poet-shirted chest and stared at Jeremy as he spoke to Sierra.

"I have never seen nor heard of him."

And if he had, he certainly didn't remember it.

"...But you know him, personally, don't you? He came to you in the stables...or something like that," Jareth mused - basically admitting that he'd been watching Sierra, be it through crystal or in owl form.

But he hadn't spoken to her since the ball.

"You seemed so nice, too," Jareth hissed viciously at Jeremy, eyes narrowing. "Such a pity."

"Not that personal we were

"Not that personal we were friends that were set up"she raised her eyebrow to indicate who it was without saying the name.

"However know we are just acquaintainces."without looking back she could feel Jeremy's prscence closing in.

She didn't bother turning around"I wouldn't come another step closer if I were you Jeremy"she said

Jeremy stopped"I was just trying to help while the almighty Goblin King talked he didn't seem to be paying attentio to your immediate need"he said gesturing towards her left leg.

Sierra sighed.

Jareth's gaze flicked sharply

Jareth's gaze flicked sharply to the prince.

"I am perfectly aware of her, 'immediate need'," he said callously. "You, on the other hand, tried to...what's the word...kidnap her? Steal her? Harass her whilst she is injured?"

An outtake of breath.

"Sierra. Does it hurt, or is it numb?"

"It burns"she said

"It burns"she said honestly

Jeremy gave Jareth a look of jealousy."Shall I help take you back "he asked her.

"That won't be necessary,"

"That won't be necessary," Jareth answered for her, sharply, burning blue eyes glaring at Jeremy for a second.

He stepped to Sierra and wrapped that long cloak around her whilst it was still around his own body, and for a split second his face betrayed the guilt he felt for treating her so badly in recent times.

"I can transport us there quickly, but that would leave your horse," he said very quietly to her, thin strands of hair falling forwards to hide his face from the side.

She smiled at him her eyes

She smiled at him her eyes seamed to be smilling "No problem "she whispered to him.reaussing him in a way that she had forgiven him

She gestured torwards the castle and Little Prince neighed a little and began trotting back to the stable.

Jeremy mounted his horse."I will be there shortly after I have tended to my horse"he said to Sierra.

She slightly winced at his remark.

Within moments, they had

Within moments, they had disappeared in a whirlwind of glitter and smoke, and reappeared in the castle. It did have a sort of...medical area, but it was pretty much just a bunch of bedrooms for sick goblins really. There were several resident goblin healers, and despite the fact that the creatures were known for being immature and uncontrollable and rambunctious, they were very skilled.

"Sit down--gently," he insisted, and helped Sierra to sit on the soft mattress, before straightening. "KRAK!"

His way of treating his subjects had not changed. The little goblin appeared almost instantly.

"Fetch Mirna, tell her she's going to be mending bones."

When the goblin was gone, Jareth looked to Sierra, and sat down beside her, hands in his lap.

"...I'm sure Jeremy liked you, you know. In his...forceful, twisted way."

She sat down willingly with

She sat down willingly with his help, she had forgotten just how good it felt for him to be by her side"Thank you "she said to him but she,he made no comment on his treatment of the goblins after all her ankle was really hurting

"Are you sticking up for him"she asked angry confused and bewildered at the same time.
This made her unconsciously stand back up.

Her face displayed that she was hurt.

The king's leather-gloved

The king's leather-gloved hand reached out and laid itself against her back, whilst his other hand half-helped half-forced her to sit right back down again.

As Mirna - a kindly-looking creature with skin that was a pale, dusty greenish-yellow in colour and large eyes with hazel irises - shuffled slowly into the room, Jareth's gaze stayed on Sierra, calm. The healer wandered over and quietly began to sort through a large basket, without a word to the other two people in the room.

Jareth did not seem to even notice her. He looked at Sierra, serious. "No. I dislike the cretin," he stated simply. "I'm just letting you know that it's not your fault, and it's not as if he hates you."

He finally looked at Mirna, who was hunched by Sierra's injured leg, waiting for permission. "...Well? Go on then!"

"Sorry, yes your maj..."

He watched as the healer began to very carefully and hesitantly pat a strange ointment onto Sierra's injured ankle, on the bare and swollen flesh, glancing up every so often to make sure she was okay.

Sierra bit the inside of her

Sierra bit the inside of her cheek as the ointment began to sting. But it lastd only for a moment.
"Thank you Mirna"she said kindly to the goblin.
She turned in her seat so that her upper body was facing the king "And thank you Jareth".

This sweet moment was short lived as Jeremy ntered the room.He immediately went to her side his hand going to her shoulder. This touch from Jeremy sent a chill down her spine.

"Does it feel better"he asked
"Yes"she stated simply but with no feeling

Jareth sighed as he felt the

Jareth sighed as he felt the presence of another, and reluctantly drew his eyes away from Sierra and towards the man that had just entered. The king did not shift away from the woman in the slightest.

"...Ex-excuse me, Lady, the--Lady shouldn't...run, do any...hard...hard movings, it...ointment helps it heal quick b-but it--might take maybe...few days..."

It was evident by the she-goblin's tone that she was afraid of her king - that, and she was naturally a shy creature. Shy goblins were common, certainly - but because they were rarely seen, people tended to gain misconceptions about the goblin race.

That did not mean that the other goblins weren't little devils.

"Dismissed."

The she-goblin shuffled out.

Jareth made a mental note to tell his subjects not to allow Jeremy into his castle without his permission - or at least to give him warning, to make sure that he was in Sierra's company before Jeremy could reach her.

"Hm." He gave a curt nod, refusing to call this man by either title or name.

"Shall I take you back to

"Shall I take you back to your room"he asked her sweetly.
Sierra'sheartbeat quickened her in a room with a bed,+plus an injured ankle with this man.She did not like the sound of such a thing. She slightly leaned in closer to Jareth.

"I don't think that will necessary "she said.
"Well I'll hope you join me for some afternoon tea he said totally ignoring Jareth.

Casually, Jareth's arm slid

Casually, Jareth's arm slid around Sierra's waist, protecting her. Cold blue eyes watched Jeremy, studying his face as if searching for weakness.

"I think she's had enough of your company for today."

His voice was certain, sure. Confident.

His carmel eyes hardened as

His carmel eyes hardened as he controlled his temper."Regardless it was her company I requested, and she alon will decide it.
He b whispered in her ear "I hope that you will dance for me one day"he said before leaving with a triumphant smile.
Sierra frowned,at his request .Cursehim she muttered under her breath thankful for Jareth's closeness.

Jareth watched him leave with

Jareth watched him leave with a growing sense of irritation, hard blue eyes staring at the now-closed wooden door. He exhaled, shaking his head, long pale-blonde strands drifting here and there. The king was silent for several seconds, before eventually his tongue seemed to work and he spoke.

"Oh I wish he would lose his temper," he growled, ignoring the irony of his use of 'wish'. Jareth folded his arms. "I'd have him in an oubliette for the rest of his miserable, snivelling life..."

The tirade ended very quickly, and he looked at the woman beside him, lips pressed into an unamused thin line. "...You won't dance for him?" Now he was curious. What was this all about?

She blushed do you wish that

She blushed do you wish that I would she asked curiously something she had wanted to know.

For a long while, he was

For a long while, he was quiet, contemplating.

"...It would be your choice." He said simply, brow furrowing slightly.

Of course he didn't want her to dance for Jeremy.

But he was too proud to admit that to her aloud.

She frowned slightly"Even if

She frowned slightly"Even if it was to the song I danced at the ball"she said weakly

His eyes flashed - and then

His eyes flashed - and then darted away, jaw clenching. Jareth's hands twitched in the confines of his gloves. He jerked his head a little, and then pushed a strand of hair out of his eyes.

"...That dance--" It was rare for him to have trouble speaking, but here he was doing it now. "I--no, then. Not that."

She smilled ,and quickly

She smilled ,and quickly leaned in and kissed his cheek gently before whispering in his ear."That dance as well as others always belong before you.My dancing is just for you."she said before standing and moving torwards the window.
