Rascal looked up when the fawn did was curious when a leaf touched her face and she didn't even look like she could feel it.What a terrible injury she has..."Okay fawn,say do you have anyone to take care of you here?Like a doe or stag?I'm just curious a fawn like um..you should certainly have somebody to guide them through the forest." He said this gently not wanting to disturb the fawn.

The stag cocked his head sideways,this doe didn't like his fiddle?
"It's okay...it's powerless in this forest strangely.Though it still has really pretty music."

He smiled and looked down at his instrument,it was his only object he had from his demon life at the human world and his prized object.

"Like me, mhm? Don't worry about me, Rascal. I'll live on." her voice had a smile in it. Although it was a sad smile.
"I used to have someone... Did you have anyone?"

She looked at it curiously. "Is that so?" Ida didn't trust the stag, and she continued rocking and shifting on her hooves, glancing at the instrument and back to him.

This time the tiny fawn was only a little bit afraid and his eyes widened with surprise.He stared at the pieces that was around him and finally said in a shaky voice,"I-I...not scared....It-it's really pretty...your powers they are..." He continued to stare but now with a calm expression and warm feeling.

The stag wanted to giggle at the doe's uncertain look but he kept it to himself.He nudged the instrument and it floated magically onto his back and strapped the leather belt so it was secure and wouldn't fall.
"Yes it is so.I don't think you like it very much and you don't trust me but the fiddle really can't do anything but float now.If you want I'll stop talking about it."

He sensed that a lot of deer were cautious of things different...maybe he shouldn't raise attention to himself anymore.

He nuzzled the small fawn lightly and he felt even more sorry for the little fawn."Yes,when I was growing up I had my mother.But when I started growing older she visited me less until..she died." There was a hint of sadness and grief in his voice as he remembered the days when he spent time with his mother.

"Yes they do little fawn,now I have my own little family and maybe hopefully a fawn in the future.Don't worry yourself,you to will find happiness someday like I did." He accepted her comfort and nuzzled her.She was such a sweet little thing.

"Well life is like a big plan.When something happens it takes you one step towards your plan being complete." He noticed her nodded and felt a pang of sympathy and reached down and started to groom her.

He stopped grooming her when she froze."Sorry...I didn't mean to upset you." He sat down next to her and thought about things too.This poor little fawn was all alone.She couldn't barely blink...He must do at least something abut it.

He bowed and said softly,"You are very welcome." Then his eyes widened in shock and he gave out a girly high pitched yell."Loo-look!I-I am a-a grow-grown sta-stag now!!I'm to tall.." Even though he was barely a few inches taller than a fawn the small stag look at how tall he was in fearful eyes.He wasn't very fond of heights.

He laughed a little,confused by what she said.But...I am not a fawn anymore?Not really a big stag but not a fawn...The small young buck noticed she looked very tired and then suddenly...she looked to him old.A old woman.Don't worry...you'll always be young and beautiful inside. He gave her a nuzzle and kissed her neck since he couldn't reach anything else and burrowed his face into her soft misty fur.

The doe smiled. "Thank you," she said as she looked down at him. Then she looked out at the sun, which was very low in the sky. The colors were a rich pink and orange, an amber wave. She rose and said to him, "We should get you to shelter. Night will fall soon."

She looked up at him, then to the fiddle as he placed it on his back once more. "Perhaps..." A shy smile. "Perhaps you could play me a song?" The doe eyed it with curiosity, no longer fearing it. Her large, hazel eyes returned to staring at the stag.

"Mhm." Her ear twitched as she continued looking up, her thick, sooty lashes almost touching her forehead. "It was ... Intriguing," the doe murmured, still rocking on her hooves but not as uncomfortably as before. "You have quite the ear for music," she added, nodding to herself, a smile adding to the compliment.

"I guess that's a privilege then, huh, sugar cube?" She giggled, her Southern accent become more prominent for a moment before she coughed, turning to head towards the pond. "I'm going for a drink," she said, inclining her head towards the water in the distance. "Would you ... care to join me?"

"Heh I guess it is."

He nodded and turned to follow her to the water.He wasn't going to lead this time...he didn't really like water that much.

"O-of course" He pressed his small body against hers to try and keep her at least a little warm.Then led the way to the Birch Forest stopping every so often to listen for danger.You can't really know what will happen in the night.

She, too looked out for danger. But it was more for him than for her. After all, she couldn't be hearmed. She walked a few feet behind him, her ear tilting this way and that, sensing the slightest sounds.

She smiled and sat beside the fawn, the mist letting out a puff as the air hit the ground and evaporated around them. The doe sensed that the fawn was tense. "We'll be safe here," she reassured. "I'll keep you safe. Get some rest."

(Haha w00t!!! So is he like...in his teen years? XD )

The doe nodded and pressed close to Troy. Everything was quite dark now, but she glowed in the dark. Quite strange, she was...

~The next morning....

(Haha, oh ok xD)

The doe got up and approached him. "Hello, good morning." Then she gave a shrug, "I can't sleep, I'm not functioned to. I used to when I was first created. In my younger years, I could sleep...I could do many things when I was younger. But now, my actions are limited."

The doe laughed, dissolving into dewdrops that fell on the grass. Her voice echoed, as it now didn't come from anywhere, but just present. "Aging is a beautiful process."

The dewdrops rose high in the air and, all at once, they were sent whirling at him in a huge sphere. "Tag!" she yelled. The water splashed on him like rain. Then, each little drop was wiped off of him until he was dry as before and formed a bubble made of water. It levitated in the air for a few moments and then it popped, the mist re-creating her body again.

The doe blushed and then began to run around and leap. Her laughter sounded squeaky, like a little girl's voice. She didn't even bother dogding trees because she would go right through them anyway.

Suddenly, the mist formed a thin creature with two legs and two long arms. In seconds, she was recreated as a female human being. Even she wasn't quite conscious of the changes, as she almost never realizes them in the first place.

Her purpose is not to care, it is simply to be.

The female smiled at him. Her features were perfect, if there was really a way to describe or define what perfection was. Her face, especially, was unrealistically smooth. Every speck of mist and dew was very defined.

She ran again, the waves of her hair flowing in the wind. But then, when she ran through another tree, she ruptured into a cloud of mist. The mist gathered on the ground and formed a crystallized leaf.

(Ahaha ohhh he's so cute!!!)

As he nudged the leaf, the dew stuck to his muzzle. The water then formed a very very tiny human, no bigger than a leaf. Now she was just a very simple form, not as complex as before though you can still make out some features like her eyes or her hair. She crawled up his little muzzle and hugged it. Then she sat up and watched him, one leg folded under the other as she angled herself. She swung her leg gently side to side.
