I know what you mean about there being several mean characters these days...but that's all they are, characters. Most people on this community (and in the Forest) enjoy role playing, but you have to understand that nobody actually intends to be mean to you

If you can, try and not take every emote as a personal attack. Some deer use emoticons such as rearing to symbolize something other than anger, (I've even seen it used as a sort of deer-hug! lol)

So try to understand that nobody intends to be mean to you personally, they are just playing as they intend their character to react.

Uio is just very impatient, and just an overrall mean and nasty guy xD;
It's a wonder he even has friends 8|

Kailani doesnt like deer getting into her personal space >< Timber kept getting right up in her face and dancing and stuff, and while she's not as big as a bully as Uio, she did ask him to back up a few times, and when he didn't she got nasty >< They aren't mates, and they wouldn't have minded hima round had he just respected their space. A good rule is to keep a deer's length away from others...

As for last night, Timber was chasing my deer Shyla around. Shyla, if you read her bio, is a very skittish fearful deer and she doesnt like strangers near...but no matter how much she ran Timber jusut kept chasing her. So her friends stepped in to protect her.

I'm sorry this keeps happening, but I think maybe you should respect deer's space and the fact that some might want to be left alone? Chasing after them and continuing to approach them might not be the best choice ><

The map isn't working, how can other players be expected to know the personalities of characters they have never met before?

I'm sorry. Timber didn't mean to get into Kailani's space. He just wanted to play. I really didn't understand. I dont really even feel like he invaded any space? Which confuses me. I didn't mean to step on you. Just was gonna lay by you. Thats it.

And as of last night I had absolutley no clue about Shyla's skitish personality, as I rarely read bios. And I first approached you in the play ground and bowed and she ran? He wasnt quite sure so to be sure she was alright he followed. And then she frowned, which really made Timber want to make her better. Timber continually bowed to show he meant NOTHING mean. He nuzzled her many times also. And she got mad? But I suppose as people said before she has a character, which I did NOT know about.

And I do respect deers space, Timber simply wants to play. There are also better ways to ask a deer to be left alone as well. When I want to be left alone I simply ignore the other deer, they usualy get the hint. And by frowning you make deer want to help you feel better. There were a few other deer who were "chasing you" aswell. But we only wanted to know what was wrong. But I am sorry, and look forward to seeing her in the forest again.

All these complex personalities on the forest, its hard to follow.

Poor Enigimas finding this problem with loads of deer, it's got to the stage where he sits alone and does not go near anyone cause so many deer have attacked him. He to afraid. He cant remeber who's nasty and who's nice so keeps clear of everyone. Even fawns have been nasty to him.
He goes up to them bows to show respect asks to play or sniff and then they attack him antlers down and charging.
Why are deer like this? Espesilly around the doe's it's not has if stags are out to have their wicked ways with them. They just want to be friends. We need some way of knowing who to leave and who to approch, i like the idea of the symbols changing colour, so instead of being yellow they go:

Green for come and play/spells welcome
Yellow Not fussed
Red - ****** (insert rude word here) off!

That way everyone would know if it's safe to approch. It could be controled by letter keys or something.

These angery attitues are going to make people leave soon if things dont change and no one should feel like that of be forced out.
