The Black Swan



The Black Swan is a keeper of time and Forest history; an ancient vessel created alongside the birth of The Endless Forest. She is rumored to appear as a wandering entity lurking within the deepest parts of the secluded birch, or haunting the Crying Idol on even rarer occasions. Legend states that if one were to wander far enough, they may stumble upon a clearing in the woods, where all direction and sense of time are lost. Shrouded by a looming mist and dense forest, she appears waiting under the sliver of a new moon. Encounters with The Black Swan are said to be unnervingly surreal and fleeting, and are most of the time written off as just, perhaps, an unsettling dream.

Despite the years, however, after many generations of this story being passed, those who have been visited by The Black Swan all recall the same: facing a pupiless gaze, chilling, and dark; pools of black so bottomless and deep it trapped the light within them. Instead of a window to the soul, they were met with a mirror of the onlooker.

They saw only themselves.

Hey Ravyn, quick question

Hey Ravyn, quick question about the music embedding.

What exactly do you put in the generator's address line to put the song in? The song I want isn't on BeeMP3, and I'm not entirely sure what needs to into the address line to get the song to come up. I've been trying a bunch of different sites, but I'm not having any luck.

Not sure if it helps, but personally, if a song I want to use with those music players isn't on a site like beemp3, I upload them myself to kiwi6 and use the direct mp3 link for it.

I personally really hate

I personally really hate kiwi6. You can't embed the song if it's something you ripped from one of your CDs, and the actual look and style of it doesn't really appeal to me. Thank you though.

And thanks, Ravyn. I'll give it a shot later. Ugh, I know. It's just that all the really good songs that I want to put up are not there because "lol not very well known artist/soundtrack." If I ever do find an alternative site, I'll make sure you're the first to know. (;

I didn't know about the CD problem, sorry to hear about that... However, as for the look of it, I still use the same player code that Ravyn has up there. Kiwi6 is just the site I use to host it, is what I meant, hah. Sorry I wasn't clear.

I sincerely hope none of the recent events caused offence OOCly. If they did I do apologise. x_x

Walter is very upset by the mess though. He went and made more of a pig's ear of it after he clobbered his head against his tree a few times. Now there's blood stains all over.

What's more is that he's lacking the opposable thumbs to hold a brush so he can clear it all up! The humanity!

Ravyn is very disappointed in him. She never thought he would cross her and thought her actions were necessary, even though harsh.
As a player, though, I wonder if they were too harsh? I hope her actions aren't driving him out of the forest forever? R may be harsh, cruel even, but she is also forgiving. I wonder if she should pay him a visit before he goes...

Oh he isn't leaving the Forest. He can't!

He just has to find a new place to sleep, to put it bluntly. It's just very distressing that all that he had left to tie him to Ephra has been pretty much destroyed. If Ravyn had turned to Run's grave, -then- it would have been harsh.

It's probably not wise for her to visit him though. Even if he's injured he'd probably snap at her right now.
