Ravus {Redo}

Seeing as I've done quite a bit of TEF-inspired art (I've about filled one sketchbook now), I decided to re-draw the first deer I ever drew, Ravus. Isn't it funny when you go back to look at your older artwork, and wonder "How could I ever think this was good?" But of course, it isn't really a bad thing...because it's fun to see how your art changes and improves.

Plus, I thought Ravus deserved a better picture, rather than just being a victim of my first attempts at drawing Forest deer. Laughing out loud

I think I've improved on:
-anatomy, especially in the legs (although I believe my anatomy is still very stylized)
-humanoid faces, slowly

But from all the art here, I see I still have a lot to learn!

Your drawing skills. Honestly, all I can say is that Im jealous of your drawing style.
AND THAT THOSE ANTLERS ARE EPIC. 8D

Oh mannn, you weren't kidding...
It has been so rewarding watching you grow as an artist. Your drawing always have their own special sort of energy to them and I love it.
+ I love, love the antlers. I will totally copy this if I am ever artistically capable of doing so. Just thank you times a million, Anjali, that's all...

Thank you too, Ravus...I'm very happy that TEF has given me so much muse, and that through this site I've been able to grow a little as an artist. Plus, Ravus is just fun to draw! She has one of the most unmistakable and sexy handsome sets I've seen. Sticking out tongue

I JUST CHOKED ON MY DRINK. Talk about the list of top ten things you didn't expect to hear from the person you least expected to hear it from... xD But thank you! Anjali's set, as you know, is the most gorgeous thing on this site, so I take that for the serious compliment it is.

Aw, but thank you for saying so...for a while I actually thought quite often about changing Anj's set, but I'm very glad I decided to keep it. Although we frequently seem to be missing some part of it. Laughing out loud

And by the way, Anjali and I very much enjoyed playing with Ravus and the other deer (I think one was Aivilo's Candlelight?) by the pond the other day.

I understand the urge to

I understand the urge to change sets sometimes--and missing set pieces (lol). We noticed Anj was missing his mask (that's why Ravus did a double-take when she saw him Laughing out loud). You let us know if you ever need help getting it back! Or trying out other sets in general. It's fun.

And yes, that was definitely fun. xD That wasn't Candlelight, that was Arieh--their pictograms are very close, but Candlelight has vertical bars in his pictogram and Arieh doesn't. Both are incredibly nice, though.
