Anatomy practice and to give everyone just an idea of what Nightmare looks like without the massive Shag he commonly has adoring his body. Nightmare's anatomy is what you would call a combination of animals.

He takes the body structure of a Boxer or Bulldog (For the big, bulky front half and squared hind end) with the muscles of a horse and the toned figure of a lion. His size is large, and due to the larger chest he does have a better means of gathering air thus making his stamina and capabilities to running for long periods greater than most.

His head structure was a combination of a regular dragon skull with added features of a Shrieker from Tremors (The triple pronged bottom jaw).

Nightmare being completely naked is weird though ._. let's hope he never loses the shag.

The skull probably looks

The skull probably looks weird due to the angle and how it is designed in general. The upper half of his skull is deer/dragon like (Or a combination there of the two creatures) while the bottom itself is designed like that of a Shrieker from Tremors 2

In the sense it basically splits into 3 Segments at the bottom, but unlike the Shrieker itself, Nightmare has thin membranes to connect the Segments together. I hope that helps to explain it a bit XD It's a purely fantasy skull but it has references in it lol

But seriously, this is a fantastic anatomy study, good job with the musculature, it looks great. I’m really liking his skull too. It does look totally vicious!

Yes Nightmare! Put your fur back on, you're giving people actual horrors to dream about *whaps him with a paper* XD

It was quite a bit of fun to work with. I worked with the muscle structure of a horse/dog while working with his muscles. I do so much love taking the approach to fleshing out things like this, because I think it gives that big feel for the character. And it helps others learn how they work :3

That skull is quite the bitching thing, until he gets something in his mouth and decides to shred it <-<;;;;; Heh...

*stares* Oh god Myu XD She'll die of blood loss at that rate LOL!
