Gender: Has no concept of gender.
Size: Slightly larger than #5 on the size chart.
Scent: Wet fur, algae, and fish.
Demeanor: Mischevious, active, stubborn, observant, impatient.
A mockery of nature, Lurker is an unusually-sized mustelid with the head of a cervid, arms of a theropod, and tail of a serpentine. It lacks backlegs and, as such, is unable to efficiently move on land -- it resorts to galumphing, similar to a seal. Where it fails in terrestial locomotion, it makes up for it and proves quite exceptional in aquatic-based environments. While it cannot breathe in water, it can remain below the surface for extended periods of time.
It believes the Pond and surrounding waterways belong to it and it alone, and is vastly territorial to any creature that steps foot into the Pond. It begrudgingly tolerates those who loaf in its vicinity, so long as they keep to their own and stay away from the water's edge. Those who fail to heed the chimera's warnings are more often than not the ones to end up as its next meal.Mannerisms
- Lurker is not one for language. While it can understand the gist of most spoken words, it is not one for speaking itself. When it does speak, its sentences are often short and simple, composing of a few words.
- It spends most of its time resting, and the small remainder zooming about the Pond and river. Despite its periods of activity being brief, this does not make them any less exhilirating.
- Lurker has a strong personality in spite of its seemingly rudimentary instincts. When threatened or defending its territory, it will engage in a sort of "war dance" that would be charming if not for its enormous size.
- Lurker's first reaction to anything unpredicted is instinctive aggression in order to protect itself. If a creature is deemed not to be a threat, depending on if Lurker is satiated, it will tentatively allow them to remain in its proximity.

Jurupari remains an enigma to Lurker. Despite their mutualism when it comes to hunting prey larger than themselves, Lurker dislikes sharing its territory and often aggresses them if they linger for too long. Regardless, it reluctantly considers them an ally.

Lurker is meant to be a troublemaker, and will reflect that in most interactions... I apologize in advance for anything it may pull. Who knows, maybe you'll manage to get on its good side and be spared from any trickery!
