I adore this. The whole concept is so adorable yet you wouldn't see her as being anything other than who she is personality-wise. ^-^ Just stunning.

Oh, this is fantastic, looks

Oh, this is fantastic, looks almost like a traditional watercolor!

May I ask how you did the very subtle texture that seems to lie beneath, particularly seen on the darker areas (pants, boot, etc). The very slight speckling of it is really attractive!

Krystal: Really? Haha, thank you c:
Okay I'll try to explain it a bit. I often use some kind of 'paper-textures' or similar ones, you can find all kinds of textures online. After colouring my drawing I usually put one or more layers with textures over the coloured part of the drawing in PS. Then I change the setting/mode of the texture-layer until it looks nice (for example with 'multiply', 'screen', 'overlay' or change the color settings of it, the transparency too, you can really try out tons of things). Textures are really helpful to 'spice' everything up and give nice effects. I usually just experiment and try out different things until I like it. Hope it was helpful, I'm rather bad at explaining things c':

ocean: Fff makes me so happy ;; thank you!

Amazing. I especially love the way you draw faces, they are gentle and childish and so alive.
