@VCG: I've read that reindeer regrow their antlers in the summer, but I'm gonna cheat and have them fully back in May I think. XD He's not completely normal after all. =B

Might be a good chance to really get to befriend him! Have been meaning to do so for a while, always distantly admired Toukan. He's just so adorable. xD

@Seed: I think I enjoy "torturing" my characters a little too much at times. Not with anything serious, but enough that they're somewhat miserable. |D
And I don't know who that deer was. They didn't appear to have a picto, so I just assumed it was one of those random nuzzly namelesses. Also seemed like they were trying to sniff his butt a few times. O.o
|D I have shadows off and character detail set to medium, so maybe that's what made him just a tad faster? Normally I'd throw in a random trot for every time he'd be about to step on his left leg, but that would've made him get very far ahead. |D; Plus... *pets controller* Only one finger needed for travelling/speed control. |D

I didn't mean the speed -- I meant the fact that by the time we hit the lake, my fingers were aching like crazy. Stupid hypotonia. I'm not going to be jealous of your controler, since my one finger would have been just as sore as my two...
Some of my characters I like miserable, others not. It varies. Many of the ones I like to knock down a peg or enjoy seeing them suffer basically do it to themselves. Hycanith I don't like to make suffer, but Seed I totally love his suffering, and he moves that way really easily. I don't have to do more than nudge him gently.

I don't make all my characters suffer either. Scape I don't think I'd like to see suffering. Others I make suffer, like I said, it's usually mild. Like the no antlers. XD; Anything worse, there's a point where I feel bad for them.
Well, yeah. I'm not sure Scape being miserable would be interesting, so I agree with you. I only have a few characters I feel bad for when they're unhappy, on the whole. As the Seed comics present, though, I not only find his misery fun, I find his unease really, really fun... I dunno. I guess I just find Seed fun. I do find Hyacinth feeling uneasy fun -- which works, since she's nearly always either happy or panicky. I seem to have hit some good things there, and probably should both use Hyacinth more (or at least get her a social life for when I do use her). And probably codify her reactions a bit, as soon as I figure out all of them. Most of her easy behaviors, I've figured... Man, I blather on XD
