Upon discovering about the recent events the beast of Nightmare's had found Herla in her condition... the beast hovered over her like a stone tower, watching and guarding her from anything or anyone that dared to approach.

Some fun concept artwork for the events that transpired in the forest tonight... a Practice and study of Nightmare's face more so than anything else, this gives you guys an idea of just how his bottom jaws work. They are pretty much connected together with a thin membrane but when he yawns, roars or whatever... that mouth becomes extremely large.

Needless to say you don't want to find yourself IN said mouth. Those bottom jaws are razor sharp, even without the serrated teeth. Basically with Nightmare's design, the hooks on each of the bottom jaws is designed to pierce and hold, along with the fangs on them... the rest of the jaws are meant to literally rip and tear apart whatever is rubbing against them at the time. The more something struggles? The more tearing happens.

Nightmare is not a nice boy anymore... .____. is it bad that his face in this scares the living hell out of me?
