My deer Cydae with the orange stag she has come to call her protector. They sat together in the rain, in the shine, played around like fawns, and napped like babies. :'D
Unfortunately, she hasn't seen him around in a long while and misses him greatly.

In other notes... OH MAH GAWD THAT GRASS. GAAHHH. GIMP NEEDS A GRASS BRUSH.

Ooh, I do like it. I have seen this same stag around before; but when I clicked on their pictogram it said access denied. Hum, constructive criticism anatomy wise, I can say that Cydae's head is more dog-shaped than deer-shaped- try making a more pronounced forehead (but not too pronounced, then it would be a fawn's skull). The same can go for that handsome orange stag

But Cydae's lower body is done nicely, and the legs are covered with grass in the right places. Must have taken you quite a long time to do all that with a basic brush in Gimp! xD
Try looking up free grass brushes for gimp on Google. a lot of photoshop-designed free brushes are good too, and work in Gimp. Download those and extract them to your Gimp's brushes folder, and i think grass qill be much less of a pain xD
