Hi. I'm still kind of new. Can anyone tell me when or how i become a deer? Because I think it's already been a month here, but I'm still a fawn Sad

The time period can be iffy.

The time period can be iffy. It's about 31 days, not a 'month' exactly.
If you've been around longer than 31 days, have you logged in properly and everything?

If you've registered on January 10, then you will grow up on February 10. So it is with any month(s).

Just to add to what the others have said, it is roughly 31 days from the first day you log into the game itself, not the community site.
