I have two Deer one 'Ammy' and another 'Shin' i used two different e-mails though im pretty ure you dont have to, but think of a very original username cause it took 3tries to find one that wasnt taken >.<
Some players have different deer under the same Pictogram (meaning they change the appearance of their deer for different characters, rather than the Pictogram). Others Name more than one deer. The best example of that is Pegasicorn. As far as I know, you can sign up using the same e-mail address.
To get another deer, you basically create a whole new account under the deer registration with a separate e-mail address.
Some people take on a different persona for each of their deer and will post on the Community site/forums under each of their other deer's names. Other people will use different colors on the Community site/forums to let people know which of their deer are talking even though they post under one name.
In the game itself, you'll have to disconnect under one account and reconnect under your new one. However, when you do this, you'll lose the set your deer has. There is a way to save and apply spell data to different deer but you'll have to ask someone else how to do that.
I've had it explained to me but it never really worked out with Vista so I gave up on having multiple deer.

But yea, I didn't need to use a separate email to activate each deer. =] But if you activate all their accounts on here, you need a separate email for each in order to put a signature or avatar. Thas why I like to post under one name for all of them, using a separate color when each one talks.
Augh! I forgot, my sister has an account too, and if she logs me out and logs in as her deer, every time I'll have to get my pelt back! How do I save my pelt? (Idk why I'm asking this now I have like four more weeks till im a deer...)

Copy the SpellData file, and save the copy in a separate folder (I like to create a folder in My Documents for these). DO NOT RENAME THE FILE. If you need to remember what set the file contains, create a folder for it with a descriptive name or with a text document describing it.
Now, to use saved spelldata:
Start up the game and log out your current deer. Log in the one you want to play, then close the game. (DO NOT LOG OUT BEFORE CLOSING.)
Go to where the SpellData file copy is saved. Copy it. Now, go to the userdata folder again located in The Endless Forest 3 folder. Paste the SpellData file, overwriting the existing one. Start up the game, and your deer should have their set.
