Mariposa woke very early, one forest morning. She had fallen asleep in a patch of purple flowers, where she usually is always found. A butterfly interrupted her slumber as it landed on her cheek.
Mariposa jerked her head up in surprise and saw the butterfly fly away. She looked up and observed the butterflies fluttering all around her with a smile. Mari had always been fascinated how a butterfly could flit through the air, being with the air. Careful not to get in the way of the butterflies' paths, she got to her hooves. There were so many that scattered all around her! So many... Mariposa continued to watch them, getting dizzy from their circles and up-and-down pathways.
Then, Mariposa looked to the sky and was surprised to see that she had woke up oddly early than she normally would. The sun was barely shining through the trees and hills of The Endless Forest. Little flecks of pink and orange sprouted throug the sky, though was still dominated by the remaining shades of light blue.
Mariposa was going to go back to sleep, but decided against it because she was already wide away. With a yawn and a backward glance, the gentle doe trotted away from the purple flowers and the fluttering butterflies that she loved and treasured oh-so dearly.
ba-dump-bump XD
The young doe moved through
She was fond of the early morning, so quiet, so still, and she hated to disturb it as much as she admired it. So it was that she had learned to move her feet as quietly as could be, to better observe the little things that moved about when no one was watching, to observe her newfound world unfold and sing its dawnsong as the glorious day blossomed.
As the fragile scent of flowers wafted up to greet her, her eyes dropped from the lofty boughs to admire the butterfly who'd drifted in front of her by chance. A gentle puff from her snout sent the tiny creature spiraling a little higher, and off it went; as she refocused her gaze to follow it, the figure of the other deer caught her attention. Startled, she froze for just a heartbeat to observe the stranger - but the other didn't look terribly dangerous to her, and so the brown and gray-furred doe relaxed, her ears pricked forward with curiosity.
Mariposa ambled to the bridge
The doe inhaled the air of the early morning, an aroma that she had always found so sweet. Suddenly, she saw someone else who was up quite early. She cocked her head to the side with curiousity and wondered who the stranger could be and why they were up quite early.
She'd been spotted! The doe
With nothing better to do, and her curiosity piqued, the brown doe continued her casual stroll, navigating her way towards the point where the river crossed the pond. She enjoyed the willows and the gently lapping waters, anyhow; they'd make for a more than satisfactory background to enjoy the morning in.
When she had drawn near enough to be heard without raising her voice, the doe offered a gentle "Good morning," to Mariposa.
Mariposa's ears flickered in
The brown one smiled softly.
Mariposa smiled as she
Mariposa was quite curious of this new person. She turned her head and looked at the doe.
Phai tracked the doe's
"Have you always been here?" she inquired curiously. After she'd said it it seemed a rather strange question, to her, and she cringed inwardly but hoped the other doe wouldn't find it so.
Mariposa's smile faltered
Hot..so hot..A desert. Dry and endless. Thiiiirsstyyy. She was there for what seemed like an eternity...
And then falling..falling...falling. Forever. Unconcious. Away from her love...
Human.
And then finally..
BOOM!
She landed.
Here.
A deer.
"Rapunnnnzeelllllllll," a voice hissed at her as the visions flew by.

Mariposa blinked and the visions were gone in seconds. She gasped from the speed of it all. She didn't remember. She'd force herself not to..
Her legs were jittery now and her eyes were a bit watery. But she tried to compose herself; make it look like she wasn't in a panic.
"I-I...don't rememeber," Mariposa said, surprised that her voice was shaky.
Phaios looked baffled at the
"I suppose," Mariposa
But this time she was in the forest, everything looked blurry.
She was running.
Trees and deer passed her. But she paid them no heed. Only running absent-mindedly. But...where?
Mariposa shook her head, ridding of the memory. A smile tugged at her lips. She looked up at Phaios. "I guess you could say I was as mad as a hatter back then."
Phai leaned forward, putting
"Well," Mariposa explained,
The brown-coated deer shook
"A human is...very different
Mariposa shook her head once more and continued. "I stayed in that high place for a very long time. But I survived and managed to entertain myself with what was there. And then I met...someone. They were very special to me. My hair came in handy then, for I was not allowed to leave the High Place. But they would come to me." Before Mariposa continued, she paused to make sure that Phaios wasn't too confused with what she was telling her.
Phai blinks. Over the land,

The doe frowned a little.
...Deer don't climb.
Squirrels climb.
Suddenly, an image of these strange hoomins filters in: bright-eyed, bushy-tailed critters with long, long hair and who lived in tall-tree-places. What odd beings...
Mariposa nodded. "Yes. They

His heart beated very fastly, it was always difficult to him to communicate with others.
He made step out from tree and came out from shadow. It was young stag, colored in deep black color, on his neck was dark green old scarf. His golden fragile antlers shined in the sun. Long and soft black hair lied on his mask, hiding its half. Left side of his back was still hidden in shadow of tree. The stag really was afraid to show this "something".
-"I-i am sorry.. It isn't polite for overhearing... I..."Huh! What I am telling?! Thought stag, - they really think, that I am had overhear them.. "M-my name is Thanatos.. I am really sorry, I not want to disturb you.."

Slowly, Mariposa got to her hooves. She glanced back at Phaios and then to Thantos. Mari took a hoof-step forward. "Would..Would you like to join us?"

It's a pleasant, quiet eve in The Forest. The trees sway in the breeze, birds put heat on their evening songs, squirrels start to sleep and frogs do their opera. The grass swings from side to side and everything is so peaceful and idyllic. A fawn, not wanting to sleep at all, steps around. She's in a strange mood today. Like angered, but happy and sad all at once. Anger-for wolves killing her family, sadness-for losing her family and happiness-this forest seems to be so peaceful and safe. Violet still remembers the horrible memories... She has a hard heart and tries to not think about it. But it recalls itself. Violet is confused, alone. Shaken, trembling, cowering. Only a few days after she came here. The female fawn is unsure about everything. She sees other deer, but doesn't even dare to talk to them. Violet goes in a lone tree-free meadow in the heart of The Forest. There are so many adorable flowers here. All, violet. Violet and beautiful. The fawn doesn't know her name, but feels very happy in the middle of the violet flower meadow. The fawn sees butterflies fluttering about, and she lies down. She lies down, curls up and dreams a bit in the tall grass. It seems safe again here. Now the moods are gone. She feels empty.

The doe sighed with contentment and opened her eyes to view the world once more. She looked down into the river. There were mini ripples from the slightest touch to the surface. Mariposa grabbed a lily pad with a tiny pink flower on it and flopped it on her head. The doe laughed at herself and looked around. Her forest green eyes spotted a tiny fawn lying down alone in a flower patch.
Mariposa, having her obsession with fawns trotted over to the tiny fawn, nearly blending with the butterflies that fluttered around them. "Hello!" Mariposa greeted with a sweet smile.
The fawn woke up from her

"My name is Mariposa," she spoke after a while, her voice just above a whisper as she did not want to disturb the peacefulness and silence of the fluttering butterflies. "What is yours, dear?"

There was a rather awkward silence. But she broke it by saying,"I guess you can always make up a name. You can name yourself whatever you want..Like..."
The doe looked around for ideas.
"Like Riverheart or...Redtear or VioletPoppy." Then Mariposa shook the lily pad and it fell forward. She grabbed it and placed it on the fawn's head.
"Or lilypad!" Mariposa exclaimed with a giggle. "You can even change it every week, every day, if you want."
The fawn was happy now and

"Ahh, this is perfect! See, it's easy! And easy to remember. I think, at least. Well, let me put it on your head now, just to try on." she said and took it. Then, she put it on Mariposa's head, and to Violet's thought, it fit nicely with Mariposa's thick hair. "Beautiful! No one could even see something's gone wrong!" she expressed her thoughts happily.

The butterflies continued to flutter around her as Mariposa got to her hooves. "Hey, I'll race you!"
Mariposa ran to where the crevasse of the Crying Idol river was and began leaping from one side to the other, snaking up to the Crying Idol. The butterflies around her made a wing-like form whenever she jumped...like she really had wings in which she could fly. Her black hair flew back with every stride, the wind brushing against her face. Her beauty, though she never really cared for it, was so effortless. She truly did have the grace and beauty of a butterfly.

"Thanks, Mariposa." said Violet. Violet thinked a while about her enthusiasm and giggled. But when then Mariposa said she'll race her, Violet couldn't resist. Above all, she loved running. When she looked Mariposa almost flying with grace and beauty, Violet stood awed looking at her. But then, Violet took a steady pose for running and let go. She ran truly fast for someone as small as Violet. That little fawn jumped next to Mariposa with small laughters. Violet felt like she was near her mother again. Then, Violet remembered it wasn't her mother, but would care less now and still ran and jumped happily.

Mariposa glanced down at the fawn as she caught up to her. Then they made it to the end of the river where the Crying Idol was. Mariposa skidded to a halt and slightly bumped agains the mini statue. Mariposa blushed with embarrasment. "Looks like we were at a tie!" Mariposa exclaimed.
The blue butterflies flew away, but did so in a wave-like motion like water ripples in the air.
Good, good. --- Violet

Violet laughed. She didn't had fun like this since her mother was alive. Violet lied down near the statue and looked at it. "I wonder who made this sad idol...?" she said, her sight nailed at the statue.
