Petrichor and Lavender: Open RP

Bright lights, the flicker of candles on proud antlers, dancing in a field of poppies, spring rain...
Arachneae woke with a start, legs piled in a heap under her elongated body. She blinked in the dim light of her web-strewn cave and waited for all eight of her orb-ike her eyes to adjust. Once she could see well enough to make her way through the messy tangle of tapestries and broken silk she hurried quickly to her loom, clicking with her tongue and humming softly to herself.
"Mustn't forget now... Got to weave... Then I'll find, search and find..."
The words were said in a cheerful tone with a little giggle at the end but her voice, singsong and soft as silk, echoed off the walls in a manner eerie enough to send shivers down even the bravest deer's back.
She quickly gathered silk up in her numerous flexible legs and set to work, her eyes strong enough to pick out the right colors even in the dim light of the few candles flickering around the great loom.
Arachneae chose bright, springtime colors for this work, just like she saw in the dream. Soon all that could be heard was her quiet muttering and the sound of the swift, skillful, loom-work. The weaver repeated what she'd seen in the other deer's dream over and over, like a mantra.
"Bright light, candles, antlers, poppies, rain, dancing, spring..."
It was a habit whenever she started a weaving, even though the great spider like creature never forgot what she saw. In all honesty it wasn't a surprise her mind was a little addled. Full of other's memories as well as her own she wasn't sure what was real and what wasn't, what she'd dreamed and what she'd done while awake. The only thing she knew was the weaving and her repeated words.
"Lights, candles, antlers, dancing, poppies, rain, lights, antlers, candles, rain, dancing, poppies..."
.:Arachneae:.
That writing is really cool!
We walked with our mouth open
The big Oak would have been a comforting shelter but the mass of bodies already warming up the air made it impossible to be silent.
This cave, on the other hand....
The sound of rain drops hitting the ground echoed and made our ears tickle. She enjoyed the buzzing for only a moment before we hear something else. "alone?not alone." we asked ourselves before trotting inside.
The small deer's light trot
Sidhe's eyes began to glow
She was quietly scared when her other mind didn't answer.
"What is it?" Sidhe asked out loud just in case her shadow didn't hear her.
A shadow moved along the wall as Sidhe's other half explored the deeper parts of the cave without her. It's own eyes shone through the dark, checking for danger. The small clicking sound that echoed through the stone walls wasn't a thing Sidhe's shadow could explain to her. It retreated back to her.
"Silk?"
Despite their sense of danger, Sidhe's curiosity drove her further in to discover the source of all this silk and ask what exactly is silk?
The fawn was obviously a bit
Arachneae followed the deer deeper into the cave, shadowing her from the ceiling. She did her best to be quiet but, just as they were reaching the large funnel she used for dreaming the pulling of silk on stone dislodged a god sized rock and sent it clattering down nest to the fawn. Freezing the spider drew her body in close to her legs in an attempt to make herself smaller.
Sidhe jolted when the rock
As she tried to step around the silk, she became tangled in her own legs and collided with the ground and bleated shortly.
"...ouch." Sidhe said, sounding embarrassed. There was a sigh of restrained patience and the fawn looked as if she were pouting before her eyes suddenly darted to Araneae's wall.
"Where is she?"
Arachneae saw the fawn fall
"Did I hurt...? Little one is not hurt yes...?" She chuckled softly at her own folly in hiding from this tiny thing, so obviously not a threat now that Arachneae saw her up close. "I was hidden... Now I am saying hello...! Hello..." Moving quickly around to examine Sidhe she clicked a few times in curiosity. Not many visitors came to her cave, warned off early by the darkness and silk. "Little one is bright... Pretty colors... Pretty little one..." At this point she was talking to herself as her many years alone had taught her to do. "Does the little one sleep...? Dream...? Little one do you sleep...?"
A maelstrom of indecision
We suddenly noticed she was asking questions. "Not. Hurt. Hello!"
Sidhe said, a little jagged. She seemed to bare her own teeth in response and struggled to not stare.
"Rude!" her inner voice told her. "I insist you put your eyes back in their sockets or she might take them. Tell her we sleep eighty percent of our time!"
Sidhe shook for a moment and then blurted out. "Yes." she said, not sure what any of that meant.
Sidhe's time in the forest was full of strange experiences, but she had picked up a few tricks from the other deer in the forest she met. This was obviously an invitation to nap together! Sidhe suddenly skipped forward, much to her own surprise, and began nuzzling Arachneae's chest. There was a muffled squeak.
(I'm gonna be a bit replying
(No prob. I'll check back
Arachneae stared stiff and
After a short time Arachneae spoke again, "I will show you something Iff you come...? Come little one... Do not fear... I will show you...! " Reckoning that if this small one slept she'd dream and if she dreamt Arachneae had probably woven a tapestry of one of her dreams somewhere, sometime, now if only she could just find it...
Without another word she was scuttling through her cave tossing tapestries aside with reckless abandon, going around the walls tip she was on the ceiling and then back down in excitement.
(I'm sorry I'm the literal worst rp partner... My explanation is that I only have an accessible computer at my dad's and I've been at my mom's forever and the busy when I'm at my dads I'm sorry... :'()
((Hey, no worries. I'm
Sidhe hobbled forward to follow and tripped over another fold of silk. "What is this stuff?" she asked. Not knowing didn't keep her from nuzzling what was obviously very soft and strange smelling. "Can you eat it??"
Her shadow had stretched out a few times to keep her from getting too close to the large spider-like deer.
