Yes. Once again. The infamous Piano Lady... kills again! Or is it the same time...? I had some severe problems whilst making this, so bear with the off-beat flashes in the second half of the video... it was really late and I wanted to go the hell to bed...
The words-- actually match up with the music, like a song... the words just came to me while listening-- over, and over again to the song.... I actually want to sing it. Sometime...
The song, is not mine! I can't play piano for a can of peas!
The MP3 belongs to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Naecp...
And all of the footage blongs to the wonderful Tale of Tales.
Don't claim it as you own, otherwise Piano Lady will shank you.
In the night.
In your room...
When you *think* you're alone....
ANYWAY.
I have no idea how I found that wonderful song...
I wanted a theme for the piano lady that was dark and mysterious, like she'd be playing it whilst you were walking in the forest, and it gets louder and louder as you get closer to the theater....
So-- I typed in "piano", and the first song I clicked on-- was such!
It was PERFECT.
Whaaa it's awesome!
The piano lady is your favorite 'wolf' isn't she hehe
Gah and that song is perfect! I love it anyway, but it especially fits The Path, lyric wise anyway.
Great job!
YEY! You love it!!
She most certanly is! She was the last one I found oddly enough... save the best for last huh? I guess there's a wolf for everyone...! Hehe!
The bench dude is my next favorite.... omg, with the carpet he pulled out? I thought I was going to piss myself... That was-- by far, the scariest thing in that game... OMG.
I only wish that there had been more 'interation' with the Piano Lady... I couldn't even see her face! And on any website I've gone to for Tale of Tales, they only talk about the girls, and how they developed them. Personally, I find the wolves more interesting... where they got the design for them (Who would've thought up HER?!), and some early concepts of them... maybe a little background history... but I didn't find annyyyything.... -wails-... anyway. I guess I'll just have to scoop up SOMETHING for her. Because she's just too cool.
OMG the carpet DX
I saw that every time I closed my eyes the night after I saw that, it freaked me right out...especially when I actually saw it laying back in the trees when I was walking around as Ruby, but couldn't interact with it! I loved that he was there at the playground the whole time though, as if he was just waiting for you to come there with the right girl...
On the forum there were some pictures...I can't remember nor do I have a link, but I remember seeing ones of the Piano Lady (that showed her face I think!) and I snagged some of Bench Dude for my background :>
If you buy the little USB thing from The Path, it has more stuff on The Wolves...but I'm not about to buy it just for that >_>'
Eeeh! He's so scary... and that freaking carpet, I swear to god. DX
I mean, of all the places! What a ped to be waiting at a PLAYGROUND!... hehe, it's so great. XD
WHAT REALLY?!?! Runs off to find pictures.
I know, I WANT that USB thing, but I think I'll wait for the price to go down... I want more info sooo baaadddd....
edit:
"In many ways, Scarlet's wolf was the most positive one if you ask me...
Have you ever had a really suportive person in your life that gave you new zeal for your interests? You know how so many eminent and famous people were inspired by one person, whether it was a passionate high school teacher, parent , etc. That's what Scarlet's wolf struck me as. Someone who inspired Scarlet to pursue her interests instead of being married to responsibility [and that was one controlling "spouse"...]. This "lesson" let her grow up, for real this time, and cast off the psdeu-maturity that had blossomed because of her responsibilities to her sisters like some kind of a nasty scab forming over a piece of chafed skin.
Scarlet didn't really die, only her girlhood did. Frankly I think her wolf was someone that let her pass through the final hurdle of adolescence to adulthood."
There are some really good theories floating around on The Path forum, I scanned some of them, though I think some of the people are taking things that are only there to add atmosphere a little too seriously lol but that's just me! Maybe I'm just missing the 'greater hidden meaning' behind the game *snicker*
I agree, some amazing theories!!
I like to think a lot deeper into things, but that's just me.
There is a lot more symbolisim to the game then I realized... but some of it-- is going a bit over-board with evaluation. Eventually racking your brain over it will only result in screwing up the real meaning... LOL.
Gosh I love this game so much!
Oh I love to think deep too, but I'm more into the settings and wolf=girl interaction than picking out the nitty-gritty details of each girl's death. I love the symbolism too, but I mean...assuming that Ruby dies of lung cancer (persay) because her wolf gives her a smoke is just sillyness lol
I think all of the wolves, are either themselves or what they can/can't do in life...
Well, I have more than one thory on that but yeah.
The girl in white, in the end when she had blood on her dress really screwed me up.
Then I thought (with the help of some very smart posts)
"The grandmother is the wolf. The cause off all of them "dying"... the Girl in White, is the Lumberjack, that saves them... Grandma/Wolf, is ALL of the wolves that took the girls... So the Girl in White, KILLS the grandmother/wolf "until you learn your lesson"... I mean, how else can you evaluate grandmas creepy-ass house??"
I think that the wolves are what the girls most desire; like Ginger wanted someone to share her adventures with and Ruby wanted to choose to loose her innocence before something took it from her, and so on.
Yeahhhh the blood on the girl in white at the end made me think of a version of Little Red Riding Hood that I'd heard, where the lumberjack actually cuts open the wolfs belly and frees Little red and her Grandma...which didn't help the creepyness factor ._.
I honestly don't know WHAT to make of the girl in white lol
Grandmothers house (for each girl) was I think the most disturbing for me, simply because it was so open and free-form. Especially for Ginger, my god, that was just..yeah lol
I'm actually really glad that I did go to the grandmothers with one of the girls the first time I played, because it makes the difference so much more stark. I defiantly advise it if you haven't already!
I did do that once, I think!!
But I can't remember the difference. I do remember running into grandma, on her bed... then it was like... Nu. U die NAO.
I aslo would like to think the girls are all the grandmother when she was young... They all have very similar features... All different ages too....
yeahhh the grandma on her bed was sorta creepy...but I don't like sleeping people anyway
hm, that's an interesting idea, you mean like the girls being sorta like the grandmother's memories of herself at different ages?
(also I couldn't help but giggle when you say they all have similar features, because they are all related but I know what you mean, they all look VERY much alike.)
Yeah that!
And maybe the girl in white is the REAL grandaughter, after all, she was the only one to make it to grandmas house, without dying...
And she "saved" grandma from herself...
From all the memeories of herself (who had failed six times in the past...).
So maybe the blood is symbolic for an end?
Kaoori:
Yeah, the game is really creepy...
I love it.
And no, not real wolves...
Just... Peds. And weird Piano Women... LMAO!
okay, I'm gonna sound like a big wuss, but is it a really scary game? ;_;* I wanna get it but I'm afraid to, LOL.

I'm a little wolf inside a girl.
No no no!! Kaoori, it's not scary at all... just. Let me try to explain it... just, creepy or disturbing. But nothing like "pop out at you" scary, or "loud noise" scary. In fact, you don't actually get to see anyone die... LOL! But it's "suggested"... it's "probed" to make you feel that something like that happened. It's really really good... I love it a lot!
Here watch this: It may help.
Hey... I drew another insanley deatiled picture... wonder if you'd color it for me...? It's Piano Lady and Scarlet, and I'm drawing another (much simpler) picture of The Girl in White.
