Eeep, sorry for the non TEF stuff guys, I just wanted to celebrate on a new creation I've made!! A "Path" candle holder!

It's made of a deer vertibrae (section of spine)... please note that I FOUND this deer carcass deep within the woods of my backyard... I don't hunt, and neither does my family. But I've been waiting for the right oppertunity to hit when I could finally use these BONES for something good!!

Well... I've found it!
And it may be a little morbid, but through all the paint, and fine details I've put into it, it's more than a bone, it's a piece of art!
I have 5-6 of them, and they're all VERY different in shape...
But I would like to sell them and give the money to Tale of Tales, if I could.

Because of the amount of work it takes I'd like to sell them at a range from $20-$35-- depending on what the person wants on them.

I want to do the colors differently-- like, Carmen's Style/color would be black and purple. Right now, I have a red and black one done with white lettering and "vines"...

I'd also like to add, all of these bones have been cleaned through and through, soaked in hydrogen peroxide for a day, and wallowed in bleach for several hours (I didn't leave them in the bleach for a long time because bleach weakens bones.), then I took a toothbrush and went though every crack I could find... The bones were already pretty weathered and sunbleached and cleaned naturally before I found them, and you'll notice a few "mouse bites" on some of the edges. But nothing too drastic...

The measurements of the candle holder are:
3 inches by 3 inches

As a candle holder, to make it safe to use, I've made elongated "limbs" made from airdry clay, to help support it while a candle is in place... However you're ALWAYS going to want to place it on a FLAT surface when it's in use.

As a NATURAL vertibrae, it won't take a normal candle, as the shape of the hole gets smaller and smaller... you can simply widdle down the candle, until it fits right. If you buy one of my candle holders, I'll provide one candle that fits perfectly, with the holder...
