It's 30 days after you name your deer, so you don't have to log in every day. Just remember when you named your deer and mark your calendar 30 days later

Oh good! As Quad said, you should be fine now, no need to log in every day (that would suck Dx).
As for seeing what spells there are available, you could check out the Antler, Pelt, and Mask Selectors but that does take most of the fun out of the in-game magic. There isn't a way to get any spell you want though, you'll have to get them in game by having other deer cast the required spell on your deer (since you can't cast magic on yourself).

Your best bet would be to find a group of deer already casting spells, most commonly found around The Pond or The Ruins. Alternatively you could post a blog here on The Community asking for some help with a particular set and see if some members can lend a hand. Good luck!
