It was a quiet evening in the forest. Most of the deer had gone home, and were now sleeping, oblivious to the world around them. By the pond, a frog croaked, jumping into the water soon after. It was the only sign of life in this now still forest.
A few moments after the frog hopped into the water, a little fawn appeared standing at the water's edge. He bent down to drink, arching his little as far as it could go. He then lifted up his head and looked around. He sniffed, taking in the sights and sounds of this strange but calm forest.
"Where am I?" he wondered. "One second, I'm fighting that stupid stag who wants to get with my girlfriend. The next second, I'm here by this pond, drinking. Man, it sure has been a weird day."
He walked over to a nearby willow tree to scratch his antlers, only to find that there were no antlers on his head, at least, not anymore.
"What the...where'd my antlers go?!" the fawn cried outloud.
He turned around, looking over his entire body carefully.
"And these spots!" He said "I must have caught some kind of skin deisese!"
The fawn ran over to the pond and peered at his reflection.
"And a shrinking diesease!"
The fawn stood still and thought for a few seconds. The first word that popped into his head was 'fawn' though he refused to believe it. How could he? He was the biggest, most powerful stag in the forest! No deer in their right mind would dare to challange him.
"And there was this really cool chick...no...never mind," thought the fawn. "I bet that guy cast a spell on me and dumped me off somewhere in the forest."
He yawned, exposing his (not very) ferocious teeth. "Maybe I should go to sleep," he thought.
Just then, a sound came from across the river, and a pair of magnificent white stangs appeared, standing in the grass.
