Oldie brought back in deer form

So this is one of my old IT (Impressive Title) characters that I've had for years, Aladar, that I made into a deer. This was all done with a mouse, and I must say it turned out quite well. Also practiced highlighting/shading and more towards lineless.

Wow, that`s quite good for a mouse! I`ve always had problems using Paint on my laptop, since I had to use the little scroll pad it has to outline and color in the characters.

Yeah I used to use a mouse all the time when I was littler and didn't have my tablet xD I just had a go at it this time and it wasn't too bad.

Yeah, I need to get a tablet sometime. It`s just so much easier. I currently have no way to actually get pictures onto the internet, because I had to get a new laptop and it has no Paint program on it ;o;

I gotcha ;o

Do you have a scanner though? Sometimes I like to draw out something, scan it, then change the opacity on the scanned drawing and do lineart over that digitally.

Ah, that`s just the problem.

Ah, that`s just the problem. I don`t have one. My mom has scanners at her job, but I wouldn`t want to bother her with it. I`m not overly computer savvy, though. |D

For the lines? I used a solid brush and then blurred them in some areas. And I used smudge.

Yes, I use the most current version of GIMP. :3
