Attempted coloring and designing header I got off lined paper... didn't work, so pictures will wait. Gonna make dividers from screenshots at some point though! Explored forest a bit more today, which was nice. Really want to meet some more deer/get involved, though.

------------Wounded, wanted to show Hec new spot she found with a cool log and trees, but Esll and Noelle and a fawn ( at least i think this is who it was - if not, sorry! ), were there, and didn't like her and Hec being there, and stood up. Previously, Oreo had danced with some deer, then Hec lead her into a meadow and they danced together. Currently nursing scrape on side with Hec.

Was born with the name 'Bahchet', meaning 'unseeing'. Eventually decided to change her own name after breaking from her old herd, and picked Oresteia, from Orestes, meaning 'Who can conquer mountains'. Can be called Orestes, Ore, and Ori also work as well.

Bow + Head Tilt - Traditional greeting, since she does her best to remember to be polite. Often followed by curious sniffing, or other activities like that.
Full Bow - Usually a sign of thanks, respect, or a goodbye if followed by a paw at the ground and walking off.
Point at Ground + Head Tilt - When around a tree that gives masks/antlers or a sleeping deer, usually is a request to be casted upon. If the one casting or doing something, it's a question of 'Is this right?'.
Sad + Head Tilt - An apology, and she often cowers or sulks afterwards.
Rear + Yes/No - Emphasis on either the yes or the no, often if 'no', followed by a bellow if angered.
Rear + Bellow + Taunting - Angered and irritated. Tends not to want to fight and will simply dance away, but is able to box with antlers or go crying for Hecate.
Bellow in face - "HI!" like an overenthusiastic child, wanting attention. If ignored, tends to be sad, quiver, or sulk elsewhere.

Born Bahchet, she was an incredibly odd fawn for a pair of mule deer. Striking blacks and whites all melded together, as well as highlights of gold to create one very different fawn. When they saw her eyes for the first time, they assumed she had some sort of deformity, and almost cast her out, had it not been for her strength and ability to stand and follow the herd. Deciding she might potentially pull her weight in the herd, they chose against exposing her, and kept her within the group. As she aged, she really had no idea that she was different from any other fawn, and attempted to play and socialize with them. They shunned and hated her though, and she often went crying to her mother, only to try to play with the others the next day. Eventually, she became somewhat sullen and withdrawn after about half a year, and tended to wander off by herself. One of those times, a stag folllowed her, and was perfectly polite and kind to her. His name was Haaj, and they soon became friends. However, it became apparent that he was not treating her right - she had bruises and cuts and scores, not to mention mental abuse, as time went on. However, he never ignored her like the other fawns did, so she assumed that this was what friendship was like. Eventually, Haaj revealed that he only really had interest in her because of her difference, and intended to start his own herd with her. She rejected this, and got beaten to within an inch of her life. He then told her to be ready, for he would call on her and they would leave. His threats and bullying almost made her give in, but she summoned the strength once she was partially healed to leave the herd and run as fast as her abnormally long legs could carry her. She ran for months, decreasing in weight and feeding only seldomly. Everywhere she went, other deer rejected her for her apperance, until she finally met a large doe named Hecate, who had antlers, wings, and funny eyes just like her! This excited her, and she decided to keep company with the doe. They travelled together for some time, and Bahchet really looked up to this other doe, and eventually became less sullen and withdrawn, reverting to a more childish state of mind. Hecate looked after her and never harmed her or insulted her, so the two grew very close, and eventually became lovers. Bahchet decided to pick a new name for herself - Oresteia, after realizing just how far she and Hecate had travelled, both physically and metaphorically.

Oresteia used to be very sullen, withdrawn, and depressed as a result of her childhood. However, she eventually came to relax around Hecate, and slowly reverted to a more fun, open personality. As time went on, her persona settled on a more childlike state, due to her lack of a childhood. She gets amusement out of small things, and tends to bounce around quite a bit. Ore is not very helpless, though - she is capable of logic and thinking and even fighting, but generally preferrs to be silly. To her, the best things in the world are Hecate, whom she loves very deeply, new interesting things, and new places to play or people to play with if Hecate doesn't chase them off. She likes to have friends, but Hecate is incredibly protective of her, which she finds sweet and endearing, so she tries not to come up to others around Hecate... But usually fails. She tends to pout if not given the attention she wants, but within reason. Is often saddened by something like a log snapping or moving, but can just as quickly be cheered by a new stone or something simple. Feels emotions very keenly, and tries to make others aware of them. Often missteps in communication though, and has a tendency to talk too much. Also has little to no brain-to-mouth filter about personal or non-personal things. Won't share secrets, but really doesn't understand why people don't want to know what she and Hecate did last night. Very rarely grouchy, and the only thing that angers her is Hecate being harmed. Hecate can get scrapes and scratches, but if she gets a tine to the face, Ore's ire will be raged. Can be serious at times, but it tends to be somewhat difficult for her, and struggles with not telling people a joke she might have thought of during a very serious time. Not flighty, but her thoughts do tend to go every which way - she lives for the moment.

- Pond, she loves sitting in the very deep water, near the log, or on the opposite bank/river.
- Ruins, thinks it's really fun to play in and around, likes sleeping in the ditch or climbing onto new heights.
- Logs, stones, and poppies, because they're fun and decorative. Tends to pick up red poppies to cast on others as a 'gift'.
- Rain, since it's her favorite weather. Snow is good too, and she tends to like night as well, but not fog or if Hecate isn't around.
- Hecate, her mate.

- Birch forest, except playground, where she loves to frolick and jump and climb and harass Hecate into playing with her. Hates the basin area with big trees and lots of bushes.
- Fawns, but generally only if they're loud and/or obnoxious. Doesn't really like them being in contact with her, unless very well-behaved.
- Things overhead,which generally includes creatures like ravens, and really hates fog.
- Bushes, got caught in a thorny one once and now hates them. Logs are easily the funnest thing ever though.
- Bright sun, because although she's not blind, she does have eyes that are incredibly sensitive to light. Hides under Hecate's wings quite a bit.
- Anyone harming Hecate. Can get very violent if mate's physically harmed, although if Hecate gets into a fight, she tends to stay out of it.

She was trying to show Hec around to this spot she found earlier ( Ori is kinda kiddish in that sense, she's gotta show Hec every cool new log or stone she finds. ), and tried to leave you in peace, but is rather terrible with the concept of 'personal space'. xDDD But nono, it was quite a bit of fun, for me at least.
Maybe Esll, Noelle, Oresteia, and Hecate can meet up sometime again? I wonder what the tone would be, hmm! I think it might be fun to stumble across one or two of you, either alone or with Hec, just to see what would happen. Hopefully Esll understood when Ori ran away that she just wanted to share, but I doubt she'd blame him for protecting his pregnant mate. But no, certainly not offended, it was a nice thing to occupy our time in TEF.

Yeah, Rai and I kinda laugh at drama. I personally would rather just be friends with people who want to be friends with me, and totally recognize that forest actions =/= community actions. No worries!
But yeah Hec's a huge owl kinda deer and Ore has no antlers and was kinda like ;A; when she had to fight Esll all by herself and got her butt handed to her.

Sounds like an innocent encounter gone wrong. I hope it will fair better for all of them the next time they come across each other. I'm glad you had fun, though. I did, too, once I knew you weren't offended by our actions~.
I'd like that. They're all a little uptight right now thanks to the pregnancy and some plot stuff going on, but I can see them getting along just fine in the future, I think. Esll is certainly not that aggressive under normal circumstances. He was just overprotective that day and agitated at all the intruders pestering him and his mate. Found alone, he's usually very amiable. <3
I feel you. Drama can be such a silly thing sometimes. Certainly not worth getting worked up over if it's IC and there's always a chance to fix it through more positive encounters.

Yeah, it does. But that keeps things interesting - Ori's too yippy-skippy most of the time anyways, this was a good experience for me to play around with how she'd act in a fight. And yeah, I was worried you guys were mad at us standing there lol.
I think we'll have to see - Ori's not the type to hold judges for that and would have perceived her pregnancy, so she won't harass or anything, but it might take time to be buddies. She's childish that way. But I definitely think that she and Esll would get along! <3
