From the Northern Forest

eweaver's picture
This is my first concept design. I am not familiar with all of the available pelts, so if this looks like another one it is purely coincidence.
My inspiration was Native Alaskan art. I love their culture and thought that a deer adorning native art of any kind would look good in the forest.
I used corel painter X and a Wacom Tablet.

Yes that's what the forest

Yes that's what the forest could use... good old native art... of all kinds not just North Western native...

But very good (^^) Never seen Alaskan myself... I live in the most Southern part of BC... but it looks very nice.

DO WANT.

The mask could be used as a wolf mask, for a game of Wolf Tag... -Ponder ponder-

Not only is the mask cool

Not only is the mask cool but the pelt is awesome too. It reminds me of the Northern Lights...very neat idea.

Ah I love that style of art!

Ah I love that style of art! Smiling I went to Alaska earlier this month, and it's everywhere up there, but SO expensive (and I really wanted a totem). But I would love to see masks and pelts with that design in the Forest!

I went to Alaska last year

I went to Alaska last year and came back with a 12" totem and a decorative canoe paddle. I really found their art unique and captivating, as well as the land and people. My family makes fun of me for saying this but I would really love to live there some day. ^.^ Here is to hoping that their style of art will make it into the endless forest Smiling
