Life.. life was such a simple thing for everyone, wasn't it? Live, eat, breath, sleep, die... there were of course the little dramas and tiffs within' ones life, but all together.. those dramas, that hatred, that self-pity, that ignorance, could come together and make something horrible. They can ruin someone's life that was never meant to be ruined. The monstrosity created from all of this built up disagreement and hatred could form something.. horrible. And that, is exactly, what happened.
Anger had been set loose in the forest recently. People wore the God's pelts, some deer shed their antlers. The Gods had not been happy- They had visited the forest, leaving the message "There are only two of us." What did this mean? It could mean multiple things. You can not expect us to visit you all so much, as there are only two of us Gods. Or, There are only two Gods. Wearing our pelts is unacceptable. However the people of the forest took it, it didn't matter. Their actions had caused something cursed to happen. Something horrible to be born.
Somewhere within the forest, during the day it all happened, while all were distracted by the Twins coming and starting an Abiogenesis, a creature was being born. Between a large tree in a stump, surrounded by butterflies that stared in anticipation. What was going on? A creature was forming from nowhere. Slowly and slowly, his body rose from the flowers as the last particle attached, and he stared forward. Dark. Nothing. No smell, no sight, no voice, no noise... nothing. The creature was solid white, and pure. Above him, the deer that created him stared down at the abomination, mourning for its creation. "I shall grant you colors, and your mask, to hide away what the deer of the forest have done to you.." A flash of light. The deer's pelt turned dark brown, and soon, orange spots and splotches and white and yellow dots formed. The colors looked like a butterfly. Another flash of light. On his face, a mask formed. It made a distressed, sad face, but had the markings of a cheetah... He did not move. The Creatordeer looked down at him, looming. "The last thing I shall give you is your heart, so those that view you may know that they are the cause of you.." A lantern formed on his single horn, a hook sprouted from it in which to cradle it. The lantern glowed with a bright blue. The closer you got, you could hear it, feel it... thu-thump.. th-thump... Softly, like a beating drum. Faceless creature stared, finally moving from statue like state. Soft, front appendages bent in an unusual way, causing him to trip. He sat and stared at his fingers. Flexed them, then sat them back down. He looked back up. The creator stared at him. "You are a poor creature. I shall name you Noface- I am sorry you were born. I shall now leave, and let you live whatever life you shall have...".
The deer lay its head down and rest.
The noise from the Abiogenesis had died down, and the deer were dispersing. He awoke. He felt the ground tremble with the last howl of the God's departure. The creature rose its head warily, looking around. "Ah...." he huffed out. Bowed legs pushed him up, his back hooves holding him up. He could see nothing on any side from him other then straight in front of him. He moved his head around, to see if any others stood near him. No one as of yet. The faceless creature felt something hit his head, and he cowered in fear. A butterfly. He eased, staring at the creatures all around his body. He would rear, causing them to scatter. Again. Again. He would jump. He would romp. Butterflies!
A feeling. Face would swing to look behind him as his body followed. He saw a deer, not too far away. Dark brown fur, golden stripes. No mask, and long, trumpet like horns. He stared. He approached. The faceless being took a step back and cowered in fear. They hesitated, but still came forward. He ran. Noface tumbled and tripped, and hid behind a tree. The deer followed. He looked sad. This deer was here to hurt him. Make fun of him. Deer of the forest were bad. The Creator had told him so. He cowered.
For hours this routine went on, different deer, different places... but still, that one stuck out to him. He would not quit. One day, being pursued by that deer of brown and gold, he stopped to rest behind a tree. The deer was nowhere around, but the feeling of another deer pounding towards him was noticed. Looking straight out, a flash of brown, a similar mask of his, and flowers. It was a doe- but she was also frightened. Of course, the golden and brown deer trailed. The doe stopped near Noface for only a second, but seemed to notice him and the other deer, and ran. Noface also ran, but in the opposite direction. Noface has not seen her since. He returned to his spot and slept the day away.
Awake. A deer. He jumped and cowered, his body shaking in fear. The deer chased him. He ran, he ran, and ran and ran. He tripped. His lantern- it was falling off! "Aaaaah! Aaah!" he desperately moaned. Then there it was- that deer that always seemed to follow him, laying asleep in the red flowers. Desperate measures were sought, and Noface hid behind the deer. He stood, he looked at Noface, and then at the doe who chased him. Noface cowered, and as the doe left, he fled to his spot, collapsing. His heart was racing, the light was fading. It had not fell off- he would be okay.
Days passed, and with each day, he met that deer again. It had no name. It was a stag, who had no name. Deer.
One day, Deer was not there. Noface was alone. It was night time. Noface frolicked in his spot. He was suddenly stopped. A deer entered his vision range. A doe- a pelt of orange with brown stripes, a mask that had been said to make a whistle, and candles. She approached, he cowered. She kept approaching. He cowered more. He ran. He darted. She followed. He stayed near his spot. He wanted to rest! He needed to rest! She would not stop. For ten minutes this went on. Noface stopped. He stared at her with the eyes he did not have. He shoved his body backwards and started to make an angry gesture at her. 'Go away' it seemed to say, 'Leave me be'. Noface could not talk, so she could not hear him, but she should have understood. She approached again. Other deer barged in- A deer with antelope horns, a pelt which looked like bones, and a face of a deer. He tried to stop the deer. It didn't work! A small fight ensued. Noface stayed in his spot and cowered. The deer ran, However, it came back. The bone-pelted deer had not helped at all. Noface darted again. However, this time the doe stayed in his spot. She frolicked, she lay down, she played with his butterflies. This enraged him. She had everything! She had her eyes, her mouth, her nose, her ears! Why should she deprive him of HIS spot? The one thing he had in this world! His only prized possession! The thing that made him feel safe! His spot! Anger replaced fear, and he charged forward. He lifted his bow legs into the air and crashed them down in front of the doe. "Aaaah!" The doe did not respond. She bowed. He shook his head and reared again. She looked shocked, but reared and nodded. He shook his head and lowered his single antler. She lowered her head. He would charge again, attempting to scare her off. Eventually she backed off, but approached again.
Down to the pond he ran, he felt her behind him. Trip. Run, trip. He eventually jumped into the pond, staying underwater and staring up. He cowered. She eventually left, and he emerged. He looked cautiously around. He would then walk alertly back to his spot- his home. He lay, shaking and wondering what he had just done.
Noface, the shy coward, had just attacked someone.
He attacked them, just how all the deer in the forest had attacked him.

Please do not be offended by Noface's actions. I have also emailed the Gods and asked them if Noface's creation would be acceptable. I am waiting for a response.
A minor tracking post. :3
Very interesting. Maybe Voice will eventually try to befriend him. :3

Aui did not mean to hurt noface.
