It transitions through a number of colours and levels of viscosity; from white, to yellow, orange, red, and then finally black, comparable to cooling lava. Contact will cause severe and immediate burns, and will most certainly harm the one who caused it to surface; ye be warned!

✘ Due to his high body temperature, constantly gives off steam in the rain and in water, assuming it's not somehow hotter than he is. That also means he melts snow and ice within a few feet of his body. Sorry Ass, no snow angels for you.
