     | Welcome to the skull painting parlour! Here you can request skull masks for your deer to be painted up, free of charge! This all started up years ago to make sure everyone has a cool skull to wear once the Big Zombie Deer comes in the forest for halloween. It's very simple, on the left you see 5 skulls, a moose, jacob's sheep, crocodile, horse, and human. All you have to do is tell me which skull you'd like to be painted, and a reference of your character. I will then paint the skull to go with your reference! In the little tab titled "2019" you can see the skulls done last year. If you'd like me to keep something specific in mind because you want to match it up with an in-game mask, or you want it to fit with the theme of your deer, just let me know. This year I am not drawing add-ons, or adding more skull variations. Feel free to remove jaws or edit the skull any way you like though! What can I do with the skull? Anything you want! But please don't sell it rofl. The image otherwise is entirely free for you to do with as you like. Do we have to roleplay? Nop! You can just request a skull for your character without any IC interaction too. But we're up for both. Whichever you feel like. But please give me a link to a bio or a link to a reference image to work with, and your choice of skull. Any limits? Ugh sorry for taking so long, had to deal with some things RL. Leaving for Cali in a few days too so its a bit hectic over here ;;

Helios managed to shake some tenseness out of his shoulders. She didn't seem mad, and it didn't seem like the female held much of a grudge if at all against his mother. he still kept his posture rather submissive though, he placed females on higher pedestals unless proven otherwise, and this doe was certainly high up there with her skills and clear ability to forgive for past transgressions. He could feel it was something he definitely wanted to be like himself.
At the does question, Helios wondered how he would answer. The skull was in fact from a wolf he himself helped kill. He wasn't proud of the killing end, but of the proving himself to not be weak part. However, he didn't want her to think he was some liar, after all he was small still.
"In another world. The wolf was killed by a patrol because it attacked them. I helped. They cleaned the skull and gave it to me. I brought it back to put on my fathers grave. But I decided I want my mother to have it." He listened to her quietly as she spoke, and found himself intrigued at this ability to 'boss insects around'. Interesting. He wondered if he'd have the honor of watching her work.
As the doe looked over his offerings, he was even more relieved. Svellorika had quite a bit of the silver things, and he was lucky enough to obtain some. Seemingly pleased with himself, he had stood back to give her space, and once again looked absolutely shocked. The doe before him...was Neela's sister? The boy looked a bit flustered suddenly, though quickly shifted his weight to hide it.
"Yes, I am Helios. Your parents helped me and my mother a while back. I don't know how I could ever repay them." He admitted truthfully. "I didn't know they had any other children aside from Neela." Another truthful statement, one he wished wasn't true, because he felt bad for not bringing back more thank you gifts from the icy world.

"Ha that'd be great! Make sure you don't get too hot inside it though." She herself was pretty bad at keeping masks on her face. Yet paint was no issue, go figure. The tall doe chuckled as the fawn showed off the mask to her. "Looks really good! It fits you well. Very relieved to see that." Mask fits could be tricky, but this one worked fine! "I hope you'll enjoy it. If anything ever happens to it, I'd be happy to fix it up for you."

Well there was an obvious blush if she ever saw one. She couldn't help but smirk a little, this fellow was pretty cute! "Hahah! Well thanks! Noone compliments me for that one. I can see uh." She narrowed her eyes to glance around, stretching her neck ever so slightly. "I can see a fawn attempting to steal that stag's lunch consisting of blueberries. Yeah he heard that kid, better run." Verve chuckled. Likely anyone could've seen that one. "Thank you though. You look pretty great too. Are you usually in this area?" She asked, glancing at the poppies it seemed to carry around. Neat.
Soli: Don't worry about it!
"Oh cool! I got a giraffe skull that way, sort of. Didn't attack us though, but it was old and it fed the tribe for weeks." It was her favourite skull. Didn't wear it a lot because she was worried about damaging it. Which was silly. "Nice of you to give it to your mother. It's really pretty."
Verve was mostly looking over the items and the skulls by now, and hadn't noticed the boy's shocked reaction. Of course, until she glanced over at him again. "I think you did well enough, my father was really pleased with the things you gave him. I'm making him some kind of outfit with it. He has a lot of things to wear but doesn't do it often? Suppose he needs to get used to the feeling." She would've so stolen his tiger pelt if she could. Maybe some day. "No others beside Neela? Heck, we're with six of us. I'm actually Neela's half sister, but it's enough sister for me. Neela's part of a triplet, and then she has two older twin brothers. I'm the eldest, of course." Such a given.
As they chatted, a couple of bugs seemed to prepare the area. Large bugs dragged items around, Verve herself had to shove the bowl of water towards her though, to mix the paint powders with. Feathers were carried by large ants, spiders bringing forth bags of beads and powder. The tall doe settled in the midst of the chaos with the skull in front of her, taking a rather long stick with a squirrel's tail attatched to the end to lay down the base colors for the skull. Spiders turning it as she worked, the cloth underneath keeping it from getting dirt in the wet paint. "I fwink fwese feathrs will suis her" She tried to explain as a tarantula waved a blue striped feather in front of Helios. From what she could remember from Zaf at least, these would do.
