Barely a yearling, the young doe has grown from her child-like build to something akin to physical maturity. She has matured gracefully, and instead of gangly limbs and bony joints, has eloquent control over her movements that flow naturally. Her colours have deepened to a sandy, light orche across her back, contrasting against the pale cream of her underside as it fades upwards, her thin, coarse fur merging the two colours effortlessly. Seven, distinct stripes reaching upwards from her sides trace the lines of her ribs, her fawn spots and stripes having faded as she grew.
The soft, pastel browns she wore as a fawn have deepened into broad, sweeping lines of rusty maroon and the small, fading brown lines around her neck have thickened into three strong, vibrant stripes upwards to her throat. Her eyes, now shadowed and lined by maroon are still a pale, snake green, but now as well as the sparkle of child-like delight in them there is a guarded wariness that hides in the shadows.
There is a tufting row of fur down her shoulders and chest, a telltale sign of the proud crest that is yet to grow, as well as the small nubs of dark skin on her forehead that foretells the growth of her ridged, ram-like horns.

At rest, her posture is delicate and well balanced, poised in gentle reverie and contemplation.

Her asthma restricts the amount of play she can participate in, but it doesn't prevent her from jumping up and doing kid things, unless she's been at it for a prolonged period of time. Triggered by stress, emotional highs/lows and the weather (whether it's cold, air pressure change). Her symptoms then include wheezing, shortness of breath and coughing and finds it hard not to panic in such a situation where she suddenly can't breathe as well, but she'll be ok she's an otherwise healthy tater tot

THE BEST MOM EVERA comforting and protective figure, Indi represents to Abhiri an umbrella of safety, warmth, knowledge and understanding. Tries as closely as she can to conform to her morals, viewing her mother as an eternal source of wisdom and in such hopes that one day, she'd be able to inspire as much respect and fear as her mam.

Jokerman
BEST MOM #2Associated with her mother and equally as important. Whereas Indi was safe and warm, Jokerman, to Abhiri was first a stern and imposing figure. However, this perception has changed. Fun, though sometimes hard to coax into play in front of strangers. Jo is somebody who inspires awe in the youth, and as such is willing to go to great lengths to please and impress her. A silent guardian whom she is grateful and appreciative towards for her quiet companionship and comfort.

Rohit
Admired for his level-headed logic, compassion and knowledgeOlder brother, a strong bond to which Abhiri always refers to. She is old enough to begin learning and caring about the wonders of the world on her own, but she prefers to hear it from her brother. He brings her down to earth when she dreams a little too much, and hopefully, she manages to lighten up his practical mind. Deeply attached to and idolised.

Rossamund
Adored childhood playmate, and is like an middling brotherScented strongly of Jokerman, and with that immediately accepted him as 'family'. Adores him for his sense of humour and fun he brings with him. Gentle and warm-hearted, Abhiri finds no fault in his actions, and he is a dearly loved playmate and good friend. With surprise, Abhiri has found herself almost on par with his (visible) age now, his face morphing from one of a much older brother to that almost like the school boys at school. Slightly disconcerted and doesn't know what to make of it.

"Nanaji"
Guardian/father figure in her home world. Loved for his caring nature and patient, soft voice. Adored.

"Naniji"
Guardian/mother figure in her home world. Abhiri runs to her every time her mother isn't there to comfort her, and is deeply attatched to. Adored.

Friends

Jhorla
Admiration, confusion and acceptanceA friend of Rohit's, and upon first sight immediately took to the doe. For some reason unknown to her, however, she sometimes moves off from play to other people abruptly, and the youth, having eventually accepted this, finds it difficult to approach her now, afraid that it might have something to do with her over-exuberance. Her brother seems plagued by this too - perhaps she'll ask him someday.

Monroe
Really struck her weak spot for canines. Adores his unpredictable personality and amusing enthusiasm but has more than once reprimanded him for his manners. Unknowingly mother-hens him a little. Always willing to be uncharacteristically exuberant when faced with him and is more than happy to pour her attention onto him. Doesn't think much of his rather flirtatious mannerisms and takes it (mostly) in her stride.

Possessions

From Jokerman and Kalindi
Kept behind the thick roots of a tree in Indi's flower patchA wooden music box that tinkles out a quiet indian lullaby lies in the hollow. If you peek further in, you can see the dim glow of golden beads on string. There seems to also be the sweet scent of an unidentified flower lingering around the roots... perhaps marigold?

From Jokerman
Jammed firmly on her headA steer's skull lies snugly on top of her head, cotton having been stuffed into the interior of the skull for a comfortable fit. Worn proudly as a gift from Jokerman seems to hold a deeper symbolism for the doe.

From Rossamund
Kept behind the thick roots of a tree in Indi's flower patchMore things seem to be hidden in the base of the tree - you wonder if it's actually a cavern in there. Serving as a soft buffer from the dirt is a pale green cape, and sitting on top of the music box is a carefully positioned plushie of a leopard. It's obvious that it's taken out regularly to be petted and cleaned, judging from the lack of dirt on it.
On Abhiri herself is an enchanted bracelet, woven with spells that can help heal minor injuries looped onto one horn of her steer skull. It glows with a soft light.
