Putting this on hold for the time being due to recent events.
An RP blog for
this depressed thing in hopes of finding him new friends/love interest/companionship/reason to live or what have you. Or they could totally just not hit it off at all. That's fine too.
Will make this... better /more detailed when I get Internet back.
And if I'm not lazy.
Basically yeah, just looking for interactions for Reate. Namely positive as negative interactions are sort of counterproductive right now. I'm sort of at a loss of how to help him...so hopefully this'll work. Maybe.
Basically just be literate, is all I'm asking for. Short posts are fine too.
Tracking this for later.
♥ thanks Winged.
hm, I have a new guy I want
perhaps he would get along with the cute unicorn ;y;
Ahh, maybe! He could always
mm. dont know much about him,
He's a lot of fun when
A light breeze gently
The Bard sneezed as a stray, decaying leaf slapped his rounded nose. Shaking his head as he pawed a pile of more, greener leaves into a little corner of the ruins. Phobos was more fond of nest, than sleeping on the forest floor...Which was covered in leaves of course. But the sparse scatterings of the little, tear-dropped shaped plants didn't make for a comfortable bed. No. Comfort was achieved when gathering them all into one pile. Maybe adding some feathers to it as well.
The male studied his handiwork, sighing in satisfaction. Glimmering, emerald orbs scanning the vicinity of the area.
@Hadou Darcia's the new guy
Darcia's the new guy you were talking about, right? /has already posted on his bio either way.
@din
Did you have anyone in mind you felt like throwing at him?
@Winged
(Apparently...Reate holds my writing muse at the moment. I couldn't stop. I'm so sorry. ;-; Do not think you have to match it at all. Please.)
Reate hadn't been paying attention to where he was walking; he was just walking. Moving to feel like he was accomplishing something other than wandering in circles in a weak attempt to calm his mind. The twittering birds and the gentle shift from light to shadow helped slightly, but his mind wasn't something that could be willed into peace. It took several meandering laps around the Forest before stubbornness would yield to exhaustion, pain and frustration. This lap brought him within sight of the Ruins. The place held little to no interest to him, normally. It was just a human structure in the middle of this strange wood. How it got there he wasn't sure. The most he had ever stared at the Ruins other than in passing was the time he had spoken to Mephistopheles. The Plane-Walker had spoken of teleporting from some point in there...hadn't he? Reate paused in his walking to scrutinize the broken columns and strange arches of the structure. At the time it had interested him, just as trying to make sense of the other's wording and knowledge had interested him. The mutt flicked his long tail as his thoughts shifted. Now it didn't apply to him.
Now it didn't matter as much. He'd still love to see more of those scrolls that were somehow alive enough to hold magic, though, now that he thought about it. But, the other had seemed uncertain on allowing that to happen.
Maybe it was for the best.
He'd just mess it up somehow.
That was the one thing he was good at.
Giving a quiet sigh, the kirin mutt slowly stepped forward, eyes searching the strange headstones before his gaze plunged back into the heart of the Ruins. Where had the spot been? Shouldn't he have been able to feel it? The thought of finding and forcing the portal open into the Plane-Walker's world amused him, if only for the moment. That was until all the unfamiliar creatures he had spoken of came back to mind. Running into creatures with names he only vaguely understood and could barely place didn't sound like the most appealing thing. Not now, anyway.
Reaching down he poked a nearby headstone with end of his nose, focusing on the rough texture of the weather beaten stone. Just another human thing he didn't understand. Yet everyone else here did, it seemed. Lilith said it was a good thing. He didn't believe it. He wanted to fit in, not be humored and thought a witless beast.
A witless beast with magic, no less. He thought, allowing it to whisper and settle in his mind before it faded away again. Giving another tail flick, the young male started forward again, slowly leaving the headstones behind as he moved about the rough perimeter of the Ruins. He angled himself to head across the bare ground and back into the safety of the trees, but made a slow progress of doing it. His bony, emaciated frame didn't allow him to move fast, nor did he see a need to. He hadn't run into many souls on his walk, and if he did he tended to skirt them or slip around trees to avoid crossing their paths. Something moving caught his attention though as he crossed the open ground. A slight pause as he focused his large eyes on a creature milling about within the stone walls. A sniff clarified what he was looking at- a male deer. One of those human ones...An ear flicked at that, wondering if his mind was programmed like the others were. Some weren't. Some were. It was a gamble...really. He didn't want to be caught up in a conversation reminding him of how stupid he was. Frankly he didn't want to be caught up in a conversation period.
But...what was he doing over there, anyway? Making a nest...or a stockpile like a squirrel or a wood mouse. He tipped his head slightly at the barely visible leaf pile, trying to make sense of it. Did he collect leaves...?
Well...someone had to.
perhaps Nugget? he can't
he can't talk, but he's a sweetie and loads of fun ;u;
Oh gosh, I've considered
