Verve and Jezabelle doll finished!

Lots of big pictures below the cut!

So when I was done with Verve doll, parrotsnpineapple(Kate) came by and joined my crib for 3 weeks. During that time we decided to make another doll!

First though, Verve!

Verve is made with a plastic armature, thus unbreakable. She is rather light and very poseable. And uh. Very big. All her jewelery was done by Kate and is removeable!
She will likely have some better photos when I get some sunlight.

Then we have Jezabelle, who is a collaboration between me and Kate. I sculpted her head, she sculpted the hooves, she also did the painting. I padded/sewed the body.

Jezabelle is also made on an armature, and is also very poseable. Her head is lighter than Verve's due to being sculpted in Apoxie as opposed to Sculpey. We wanted to make her smaller than Verve. We didn't succeed too much >_> Everything I do becomes big.

Of course I had to make some photos of them together.

Both have bodies mainly made out of minky, all markings are sewn on. They also both have eyelashes which might not be that easy to see on these photos.

These are spectacular! ♥ I can't get over how gorgeous Verve's jewelry pieces are, and I love her face and the long curve of her ears. Jezabelle is stunning, and I really love her face too - those fangs!

) did such a fantastic job on these. I really like the style, and Jezz's face is so amazing I can't even. Every little detail in the accessories really makes the characters pop too. Really, wow! I wish I had the money :<

I just have to swoon over

I just have to swoon over these. They're both gorgeous and the details are...just....no words for how awesome they are. Everything from the sewing to the painting to the little detailed accessories. Love it all. Keep up the amazing work, Mis. You'll go far with these.

And I still intend on buying one as soon as I can afford one.

I'm intrigued by the details

I'm intrigued by the details on the heads and jewellry - the paint, symmetry and just trying to make it look right must've taken some patience because they look stunning.
Hrr, and now I know the name of the fabric that I love.

The jewellry is impressive, all those feathers and beads really give Verve a tribal feel, though the headdress looked pretty good on Jezabelle too. B]

Yes I know right o_x I dunno how she did it. I sat here watching though haha! She gave me some good tips about paints and such so we’ll see how I do in the future. And I got an airbrush now *dance*
Her armature is unbreakable, I think I could break her ears if I wanted to :”) Won’t deny it has happened too, I dropped her head at some point. But it was fixable, and you can’t even see it anymore. This clay is pretty great.

Sculpting symmetrically is reeaally hard. Really the hardest part of faces, especially human ones since they can look off so easily. Yes, minky! Super super soft, SUPER SUPER MESSY. I vacuumed my room last night, NO EFFECT. It’s torture.
But god does it make the doll fun to pet XD

Yes it did look good on Jezz! I think Kate has work to do as soon as she arrives.
