Thoughts:"Well!" Mind: wandering || Body: good condition || Mood: calm
Had been inactive for a very looong tiiiime. To his dismay, he didn't see or smell anyone familiar.
Still managed to have a relaxing day at the Crying Idol. Curled up near the edge, the rushing water putting him into him in a dreamy state.
Previously
Rays of hot sun half-baked the sleepy Elk's grey fur. A silvery eye opened, taking in the scenery. It was somewhere around noon, as far as he could tell. A faintly familiar scent, carried by a light breeze, happened to blow right into his face. He could infer from it that Nine might be close by.
He spotted the tips of unlit candles and her pictograph in the tall grass. After the zombie mask call ushered him over, he introduced himself again to Nine, then to an unfamiliar (Calder?) standing watch. The Elk sniffed at them both only to be polite and unnecessarily confirm the scent.
A couple fawns approached but Hovis was the only one of the three caring to play with them. Afterwards, one left the scene and one stayed behind to sit. The little zombie-masked fawn seemed to like him, but it's hard to tell in a game like TEF! XD
Then, a magpie-pelted buck came up and began mooing for attention. He pestered Hovis a bit with all the noise, but he soon left. We all just sat while Calder (?) kept standing. Not much activity, but still fun to be there.
Overall an interesting (I guess) time, huh? :/
Half awake, Hovis felt something land on his nose. It tickled, so he wrinkled it and sneezed.
The thing buzzed and flew away, so he opened his eyes and looked around. Everything was various shades of pink and scattered purple. Twilight? Looks like it could be. The rays of bright sunlight which poured onto the forest floor were now dimmed, there were enormous dandelion weeds poking up from the ground where trees once stood, and the thing that had landed on his nose earlier was a lightning beetle, flying in a glowing swarm of other beetles! What trickery is this? But such beautiful trickery it was, to make the whole forest appear so much more wonderful and dreamy. He sat in the flower glade, just taking it all in. And from that day further, he decided he would stay in the Forest for as long as he could.
Got up and traveled to a tree behind Crying Idol, sat there at the base for a long time and fell asleep.
Woke up much later to find Jennie, Flyleaf, Danieru and another sitting really close!! Enjoyed their company so much, even though he knew but one of them (found the other's names through forest map system). Took memorable screenshots ^^ thanks guys, we had fun
[and I apologize if I misspelled your deer's name]
After waking up from a late afternoon nap, Hovis left the tree he slept under to search for a stream of water to renew his dry throat. Instead, he began to hear the call of a zombie deer not far off.
Perked up his ears in listening mode, instantly recognized the picto and call - Jennie!!! Abandoning the search for water, his heart pounded ever faster, quickly speeding past deer on his journey to see her. Entering the birch woods, he slowed down as he neared Jennie. They called to each other, Hovis displaying how happy he was to see her again so soon by running around in little circles, jumping around her all jittery-like and dancing with her for a few minutes. But sadly enough, soon after they met Jennie showed that she was sad. Hovis asked what was wrong with the tilt of his head. With all the polite bowing, sadness, and last-second nuzzling, he realized she needed to leave. Bowing to and nuzzling her in return, he watched her disappear into thin air. A tear formed in his eye, but he held it back. Hanging his fawn head in disappointment, his legs carried him over to a rock formation (Playground) where he numbly sat down. Soon fell asleep, wondering if he'll see her again.
Woke with the sun in his eyes, which made his head hurt. Had to scramble to get out of the patch of sun rays to avoid further retina damage. Shook his head to clear the haze forming around his vision, and listened for familiar pictograms. When that failed, he stuck is nose in the air and sniffed.
Suddenly the smell of Spartak came to his nostrils! Recognizing it and becoming excited, Hovis ran in the direction it was coming from, but only to find a deer with the default set and a slightly different pictogram up-close than what he actually heard. Confused, he circled the deer slowly, looking him over. Smelled like his buddy, but appeared as a stranger. How odd! Backing away, he became embarrassed, so he ran off towards the Birch woods.
Aimlessly he wandered past thin, towering trees and trudged through patches of unknown blue flowers (?), until finally coming to rest in the center of a small ditch. Minutes later his ears picked up the sound of a set of hooves crunching on the dead leaves. He listened more, and realized that they were coming nearer to where he sat. "Ughh..please don't...", he began to think.
But as the deer passed him, he stopped, listened, and turned his head to look at Hovis. The stag appeared to glow a bit, and his eyes were a brilliant shade of green. Seemingly curious, he redirected his path towards Hovis and introduced himself with a polite bow.
Hovis saw this, and got to his hooves. Sighed and shot an uninterested glance his way. Eventually bowed him a greeting, but instead of continuing to wherever he was headed, the glowy deer came closer, and sniffed. So he forced himself to sniff back. This deer faintly reminded him of Jennie - but how? Soon Hovis came to regret how unwelcoming he acted in response to this deer's presence, as he actually proved to be good company. Found his name to be "Unununium" later. Sat by Unun for a long time, birds singing, annoying mini deer calling... until Hovis needed to leave the forest. Tried to gain Unun's attention by roaring and pawing the dirt, but to no avail. A little sad, he curled up anyway, closing his eyes and dispersing into purple-black smoke. Perhaps they'll meet again some day?
Fumbling through the fog for a long time, Hovis finally found a doe (Oseaan) sleeping by herself. Decided to sit close to her for the heck of it. Later, followed Jennie's picto to the twin statue hill. They met and danced, then someone turned her into a frog, lol! Jennie hopped around the place, with Hovis trailing playfully after. Tired from the chasing, he plopped his fawn booty on the grass and Jennie did the same. A male fawn (Maxwell) joined them at random moments in dancing, sitting and playing.
Sat around the twin statues for what seemed like hours, until he heard the call of a zombie deer with a picto that was familiar. Determined the direction of the call and set off to find the source. It was Jennie! A new friend? She seemed open to company and friendly, so Hovis stuck around. They had fun galloping and jumping all around, and even just standing there! Even a sweet, very polite mini fawn (Betsie) joined them. But when she showed that she was sad, he had a feeling she was going to disappear. After a long goodbye, the doe curled up and disintegrated into a purple-black smoke. Hovis was disappointed she left, but maybe he would see her sometime soon again...?
He knows he should not take it personally, but it was his first time to be picked-on by three deer at once. Hovis woke up with fog in his lungs and the sounds of howls torturing his ears once again. But he did not mind too much, that is, until he came to the twin gods hill to see what was going on. There was a crowd of roughly two dozen deer, three of which suddenly began to roll on the ground laughing, cowering in mock fear as he passed them by. Hovis noticed them, but did not turn his head to look. He did not know what exactly to do in a situation of this type. So, he took offense of it, and kept walking slowly up the hill. As he made it further up the hill past them, one of the delinquent trio quickly ran to his side and mocked fear again to see if Hovis would react. Nothing from him but diverted eyes with a fresh tear spilling out of both. He began to run away as fast as he could from the deer in search for Spartak - maybe even Nine. Anyone willing to sit with him and vent his emotions to would be what he needed the most. You can say he seems too sensitive to things like this, but he would think you do not understand about his feelings. It isn't just because he is a fawn, no. His emotions are magnified, unlike other deer. He is quite fragile, so handle him with care!
trackies!
Just a brief explanation of
Picked settings and music which seemed fitting for his personality. Tried to make him look like I remembered him in dream I had. And just to let him stick out from the crowd (in a unique but good way), I decided to put features into him which would make him seem more interesting, like he originated from a sci-fi movie or series. Because these things are what I am intrigued of, yes.
So, if anyone is interested in roleplaying with this guy, you can! I welcome it, and will try to explore other people's characters' bios to see if they would want to roleplay with my deer, too. This community has come across to me as friendly, relaxed atmosphere of random people from around the globe who all visit the forest. And I wish to make friends here on this lovely site if I can.
Thank you for the track,
OMG, this character did
I love your deer. Not just because he is so unique and all, his aspects are in vast majorty my interests. I even have amount of safely sealed mercury metal in my collection of technology and electronic things. x)
I feel like my main character is a way similar to him. I'd love to interact with him once, hovewer I do prefer in-game interaction over text roleplay.
Track out of high level of interest, haha. x))
