- Usually has good intentions buuut things tend to go awry

- A magnet for trouble. Tends to get involved in things he perhaps shouldn't be sticking his nose into. Usually for the sake of protecting someone he knows- he dislikes sitting around and 'not doing anything' while someone's potentially in danger. On the other hand, sometimes he's just plain curious.

- Highly affectionate with those he knows, very touchy-feely. Loves hugs. Less enthusiastic when it's coming from someone he doesn't know.

- Easily becomes attached to people. Loves making friends, and has a hard time letting go of them, even if they turn out not to be especially good people

- Self-conscious and sensitive about his self-image or how others might perceive him. Criticism is easily taken to heart. Poor self-esteem.

- Tends to not share information about himself with others. Wary, perhaps needlessly, but considers his fears reasonable given prior experiences. Finds it difficult to open up to people about many different matters.

Appearance

In the Endless Forest:
Takes the usual form of an Endless Forest deer- a deer with a human-like face.

Youthful, almost androgynous appearance. Pale skin, seems to always have hints of frostbite-blue or purple undertones, especially noticeable around his eyes, nose and lips. Sunburns easily.
Usually looks at least a little tired, with dark circles under his eyes and a slightly-forlorn-looking resting expression.
Sharp canine teeth. Big, round and fluffy ears that are nicked in a few places.

Dense, double-coated fur. Similar in form to that of a reindeer, but tends to be longer and wavier. Fur covers the ‘pads’ of his hooves, and creates a feathering effect when long enough. Sheds excess fur in late spring, and regrows his winter coat by December. Prone to overheating in hot weather even with the thinner summer coat.
Deep blue fur, darkening to almost black at certain points; his tail, lower legs, the back of his neck. Underbelly fur is white. Fur darkens closer to his head until it mingles with his hair- something like human hair? Usually relatively untidy, waves and curls of hair may get tangled. Often badly cowlicked. Has several streaks of grey hair.
Shortish black horns with a slight curve. Thin and sharp.

The fox had been watching, waiting for this one to be alone. Ever since the day she had caught this one's scent upon the tigress and her cubs, she watched, she waited.

Finally she found him alone, the once dead, on the hill he had been buried. She couldn't help but wonder about it, the things she buried here never came back to life, so it wasn't the earth. Somehow this thing came back, and now it had not only helped her friends, but also herself. She owed him a debt.
The fox took a moment as she climbed the hill to calm her nerves, dealing with others and speaking to them always unsettled her, straightening her fur and making sure she wouldn't drop the bundle she carried on her back before finally making her presence known.

Kettu cleared her throat, "Um, Hello. T-thank you for helping me, small things shouldn't be alone like that."

When the kitsune (or 'funny looking fox', as Ross thought of her) first sat nearby, the little buck had remained where he was; nervous, despite having no reason to fear her. He peered out from behind the tree, pale eyes barely visible above the tall grass. But eventually Ross's curiosity got the better of him, and he crept closer.
"Hullo... er, you're welcome."

The fox gave a slight nod, in

The fox gave a slight nod, in response to stags words. While she wished to get her task over and done as quickly as possible, she knew certain 'niceties' must be observed when meeting someone new. Standing up she spoke again, "Name's Kettu." as she gave a slight bow to the stag. "I...brought...some things for you." the fox reached behind her to pull the bundle off her back, three rabbit skin bags the outsides of which still covered in soft brown fur. Kettu set them down in front of Ross before retreating a few steps to sit down, tails twitching around behind her like an irritated cats.
"You helped a Striped doe and her kits once, Don't know if they thanked you...but they're mine, in a way. So thank you for that too. She paused a moment before hurriedly saying the rest, "It's not much but, there's some things there I haven't seen in the forest. Sen got 'em from other places. The slimy stuff is for burns, the brown stuff you eat...makes you warm inside, takes away pain. The green stops bleeding, keeps the cuts shut."
The fox wasn't certain if anything she had said made sense since she didn't know the names of the things she had put together. Still, she had wanted to give it something, and giving it a dead thing she had caught may not have gone over very well. She fidgeted as she waited, hoping the stag would at least accept her gifts so she could consider her debt paid.

(Actual items in the bags: Aloe Vera/honey paste, Cloves/yarrow leaves, and Liverwort/honey/lady's mantle. In case you wanted to know. >.>)

The myling loved to eat honey when he could find it, and with this in mind he thought that nothing that smelled like it could possibly be bad. And hey, it was medicine too. Excellent. The buck gladly accepted the gift. "No problem. And thank you! That's very kind of you."
