They understood. Vesas didn't want to leave Allison alone so that is why he apologized to his friends and led her to his home (the tall grass). For him its the safest place in the woods.

Vesas smiled as he spotted Allison in the distance. With a bounce in his trot he approached her. When he was close enough he swung around her and playfully nipped an ear then nuzzled her. "Hey Allison!" he greeted the doe cheerfully.

Alrighty gtg ^_^ Vesas (and I ) had fun in forest I shall update later !!!

Vesas lifted his head proudly as the doe complimented on how big he was and 'grown up he appeared'. "Honestly..it didn't really hit me until I ran into old friends like you who I remember having to look UP at or at least was on the same level" he laughed and flicked his tail in his excitement. "Though I do like that I dont feel so high strung and confrontational anymore. Now I just like to walk through the forest sometimes and enjoy the warm air" he smiled,eyes closed then leaned his head down, ruffling the fur on her head again. "What do you feel like doing today" he asked her and lifted his ears searching around for a less deer infested location. He knew the doe was still wary of those she didn't know and he didn't want her afraid while they romped around.

Vesas cocked his head to one side and contemplated what they could do. From what his senses told him it seemed the ruins were pretty deserted at the moment and that seemed like a fun place to romp in. "Alright lets go to the ruins, I don't sense many deer there" he smiled then reared up and took off but not so fast that the doe could not follow. He was aware of just how long his legs were now and that he would be much faster than she was. Occasionally he'd slow down to allow her to catch up.

Vesas laughed and bounded, his body sailing a good eight or so feet through the air. This jumping still surprised the stag quite a bit but he was having too much fun to care now. When he finally made it to the ruins he stopped, allowing the doe to catch up . "Its such an interesting structure isn't it..I use to be scared of it when I was a fawn" he laughed.

Vesas joined the doe next to the cage. He leaned his head forward and sniffed the metal. Perhaps it held something of its history? Alas there was nothing. Only the rancid scent of rotting metal. The stag sneezed and shook his head. "I wonder that as well. I even wonder what this stone structure once was..and perhaps..what lived here before we did" he lifted his head up and looked around. The air was silent here. Many of the deer were at the lake or drinkplaats this day and so most of the sound was distant. It was nice. He enjoyed the peace. Looking down he smiled. "But of course it has been unused for a very long time. so we have nothing to fear " he lightly nudged her

Vesas twitched his tail playfully. Although he had calmed considerably after aging he still became incredibly playful when another deer with him encouraged it. When she giggled and "complimented" his height he stuck his chest out and put on a mock tough face and yelled out"I am might Vesas hear me roar" he said with a smirk then as if as a mockery to his own joke a small bird landed on his massive rack. He caught this in the corner of his eye then belted out laughing.

He laughed again and gently shook his antlers but the little birds clung tight. "Ah hey come on ...I may be tall but I am no tree" he pouted and shook his antlers again. The little bird smiled as if it knew the gentle giant would not harm it. Vesas would never harm it but it was annoying. Finally he sighed then looked up,"Alright you can stay there but no relieving yourself on my head got it" the bird nodded then settled into it's position on one of his curled antlers. He laughed then looked back to Allison. "Does this make me a chick magnet?" he asked cocking his head to the side and chuckled. It was a bad joke but he couldn't help it.

Vesas laughed when she trotted away he watched in curiosity. His ears perked up when he heard the clicking. It was almost mesmerizing and he was shocked even more when the red winged bird landed on her. "Wow Allison that is..amazing"he trotted lightly to her and sniffed the bird."Could you show me how that's done..or is it something only you can do?" he was hypnotized by the amazing gift and could not seem to form more words.

The bird began chirping sounds of alarm as the male trotted closer, but Allison quietly cooed to it. It relaxed slightly, even though it still wouldn't take its eyes off of Vesas. Allison giggled at the bird's behavior, finding it adorable. She looked at Vesas, happy he liked her talent.
"To be honest, I don't even know how I do it." She shrugged her shoulders, which the bird shifted its weight as she did so. "Ever since I came to the Forest these little guys have followed me around. They're the only ones who have remembered me when I returned to the Forest." Her eyes flicked back to the bird on her back. "They were always here for me." She murmured, nudging her muzzle into the bird's belly and lovingly nuzzling it. The bird chirped in protest as it was slightly pushed back, though it didn't move away from her nuzzle.

Edit: Woops, didn't see that comment! Thank you <3 It was actually the first piece of fan art I had gotten for her, I was just recently looking through her pictures and when I saw that one I knew I had to put it up on her bio again. ♥ Tornpaw is a great artist.

The small doe smiled and nuzzled the male back. "It all comes naturally, to assist ones when they're hurt. I got used to it when my old mate got into a few big fights and I had to care for him." She chuckled, shaking her head smiling as memories slowly floated in her mind.
Allison smiled up at the male. "Why thank you, kind sir. And I shall be there for you to tend your wounds, if you get into anymore more fights, that is." She spoke, smile still on her face. "Which, hopefully, you won't get into anymore fights." She added.

The doe nodded, eyes returning to the bird. She nudged it. "Go on, now." She spoke gently to it as it quickly fluttered away.
Now birdless, Allison turned to face Vesas. "That is vey wise, unfortunately there are too many stags who fight for small reasons." She shook her head, disapproval clear in her expression. "Violence is an ugly thing and should be used as rarely as possible, if at all." The doe spoke truthfully, any act of violence drove her into an emotional mess as it tied to her past. She would often hide herself in such situations and wait for someone to find her and reassure her she was safe, other times she was frozen in place by fear.

"Yes, I guess it is natural for younger bucks to get at it every now and then, I just find it distasteful when adults - who know better - do it." She spoke, ears twitching towards him and listening to him as he continued to speak.
The female took in a deep breath, her eyes flicking around the Forest, seeing, still, no other deer in sight.
Her head turned back to the male when he offered a walk. "Why of course, Vesas." She spoke politely, ears perking curiously.

Allison gave a flick of her tail, walking at the male's side. Although the male slowed his pace to make it easier for her to walk at the same speed as him, she still found herself having to increase her pace to keep up with the male. Not that she minded much, of course. She was never one to complain, especially with friends of hers.
The doe's head and ears flicked curiously towards the male as she realized he wasn't talking. She found this odd as he always seemed to be talking about something. She paused, not sure what to say, but then quickly speeded up to catch up to the male.
"Vesas," she started, her words haulting for a moment, "Is anything wrong?" She asked, tilting her head to the side as she looked up to the male. "You seem quiet." Suddenly the female felt her ears push back, questioningly. Had she done something to offend him? Her tail lowered nervously as she began to worry. It drove Allison crazy thinking someone was upset with her.

Allison felt her heart go out to the male, she had found herself in a similar situation when it came to Mama Veil and her sisterly friend, Kalila. The doe shook her head, "Don't be silly, you shouldn't be sorry for something like that. It is understandable that you should be upset, it would be odd if you weren't." Her voice was soft and quiet, though stern enough for the male to know she was serious. "I must tell you, a situation like this is...hard. I have just recently been in one. But everything all boils down to one thing, who do you want most in your life. This doe named Quadda or your friend." The doe gave another small shake of her head. "I must say I'm sorry you're in such a situation, it is not fun." Allison sighed, her eyes holding sympathy for her friend.

Allison sighed and walked closer to the male to give him a comforting nuzzle. "I know it's hard to choose, and maybe you don't have to, just remember who's closest to your heart. Again her voice was gentle, calm and stern.
Allison's ears perked up at his thank you. "Oh, it isn't a problem at all, Vesas. I'll always be around if you need me, and I'm always welcome to help in any way that I can."
