I apologize for my deers strange behavior at the blue bowl.My deer was trying to lead her to a tree to get an antler spell but I guess I was'nt making any sense ^^;
He likes to linger near the pond and crying idol a lot, so if he had any particular scent it'd probably be a mix between those flowers near the idol and the pond.. whatever it smells like! xD He really seemed to enjoy her company. :3
Sorry dear! Didn't recognize Jupiter at first until she got closer to see her picto. I know she probably doesn't remember her from her past though; but Krystal will
A small smile as the stag moved closer. "Hello lovely." The stag held his head high looked at the brown doe with gentle eyes. His grey pelt caught the sunlight rather well as he stood there, the greys and whites glowing.
The doe peered at him sideways, not sure what to make of the initial compliment. "Hello." Her reply was small and yet it was all she could muster upon greeting the gray one. She peered up at him now, facing direct but one hoof back lest she need to spin and dash quickly. To be honest, she had grown very skittish as of late.
The stag stood still and watched her, judging how this should play out. "My name is Bird, Who might you be?" A warm smile followed his gentle words. What would it take to warm her up, to be able to flirt and play? He didn't move from his spot, just simple stood and faced her with his deep green eyes.
The doe let a small hint of smile creep in to her features, though it still had not reached her eyes. "It's nice to meet you, Bird. I'm Poplar." She was curious of his intentions, but a little more willing to accept his company now. Who would refuse the company of someone who smelled like they just rolled around in the Blue Bowl?
Bird moved closer and refused his want to circle the smaller doe. He didn't sit down, rather he stood near her and looked around making sure all was right and calm. He twisted his head slowly and gave her shoulder a curios sniff. He pulled his head back a little too quickly to seem normal. She smelled wonderful to the stag however the sent of other deer discouraged him.
Her tiny tongue flicked from between her lips to lick her muzzle in quick strokes before it retreated. Her ears twisted, animated with both curiosity and apprehension as she returned the sniff. She was greeted with an even-more heady scent of blueberries. It was odd. Was it a natural scent? Her head tilted, tail flickering briefly to take it in, all of this happening in an instant. Bird smelled of Blueberries. She would have to remember that. Her deep brown eyes peered back at his green ones, masking herself with a confidence that a feral doe would use in a danger situation or a meeting during rut.
The stag looked into her eyes and could tell, just faintly, how her attitude changed. Before he could stop himself he leaned forward slowly and licked her muzzle. A gentle kiss, placed above her nose. He turned his head back up unfazed by his own action. He looked out of the forest again his ears flickering at a birds call. How she responded to his small affection was up to her.
Flirting? Her feral instincts told her that he was a male that wanted to mate, but her Endless Forest mind felt that he was being quite forward. Her nostrils flared. Bird was a flirt, so would Pop be. Barely tall enough to do so, the doe reached up and plucked at his chin-fur gently with her teeth before backing up a few paces. She would play his game.
His head snapped in her direction, a little surprised that she would play this game with him. He smiled and moved toward her slowly, turning and circling her. This may just be fun. The grey stag moved smoothly, fluidly around her as if he had done is a million times.
The small brown doe grinned wildly as she was circled, before joining him in the little "dance." Briefly she followed him, creating an empty place in the center of the oval they made. Quickly she danced away on light hooves, practically bouncing in to the wider area near the tree she called home. Back and away again the small being darted, the Gray ever in her gaze. This would be fun.
Bird watched her his circle ending. He smirked and lowered his antlers tossing his head lightly before raising it again. He trotted after her matching her quickly and whenever he got the chance he nudged her with a strong foreleg trying to knock her over.
Surprised at his forcefulness, the doe began to dart in and out of his legs. Poplar would knock him before he did her if it were the last thing she ever did! The doe would run through, nipping his belly, before darting out the other side again and hopping to celebrate the small victory before allowing him a chance. Back-and-forth again, like a dance.
Bird tried to move out and away from the little one as she moved under him and nipped at his under side. An idea hit him as he tried to knock her over. He waited for her to go under him and just as her little teeth nipped at him he collapsed on her trapping the little doe under his stomach. He was careful to not hurt her but pressed his chest hard enough on her back to keep her from freeing herself. "Got ya."
Flailing, the doe could not seem to get out of his grasp. Finally, the small being just resigned and collapsed beneath him. "Eyipe!" Poplar squeaked, before drumming her forehooves on the ground and throwing her antlerless head back in to his neck. A bubbly laugh showed that she was not afraid, but excited. "What happens next, Bird?" Teasing apparent, she asked him the question.
Bird smiled before wrapping his legs front legs around her chest in a strange hug and nuzzling the side of her head. "What happens all depends on you lovely." His voice was a whisper against her ear, his breath was warm. Bird had made the mistake of getting too physical with does outside of the endless forest so he was making his best effort to let the does run the show now.
And "run the show" she did. Poplar, after a mere moment of wriggling, managed to get herself free. "The Fall is not far away then!" Her words were flirty, a 'so-long' before she darted off in to the forest to disappear. Poplar was a real brat when it came to flirting, it seemed.

She's recently taken to being friendly if another is friendly to her. If the deer knows her from the past, she is more likely to go along with it.
