Miyako (Mee-yah-koo) | Identity | 21.12.2013 | In her prime | Female | Wild white-tailed deer | Northern Brazil | Home
» Innocent being at birth. Grew as a naive and easily lead on adolescent leading her into countless of troubles and heartache. Traumatized as she was a victim of an assault. Her former lover took abused her both mentally and physically until the point of no return. In addition the breaking of her second family, her foster family caused her more mental trauma by disowning her at a very delicate time of her life. Being unlucky with partners she has intimacy issues and a great fear towards the male gender.
» Loves unconditionally, cares passionately. Hates brutally. She still shows submission towards many, but has shaken off the naive nature she once held. Suspicious when first meeting someone, unlikely to trust or forgive easily.
» Has taken collecting and crafting to heart as if she was to continue the legacy of her former guardian and partner. Has yet to practice crafting hoping one day she could create something magnificent.
Kenai First born biological son. Could not be there for him when he was born as she was taken from the world as we know it, was given the gift of returning when her son was already a teenager. They had hard time building their relationship and never truly managed to get close. With all the highs and lows with the boy she was incredibly proud of him and loved him to no end. Deceassed on 4th of December 2016.
Mortis Auctor Viewed as a Father and a Mentor. Deep rooted mutual connection she still feels after years of being separated. Longs for his calm presence more than anything, often seeks guidance from him even though he isn't around. Loading...
Djinn Adoptive Mother. When she was a newborn she received the greatest of care and protection from the hind, growing deeply attached to her, growing to respect and admire her. Relationship fell apart when she was disowned by the hind and her mate at the time. Miyako left burning bridges hoping to never see her face again. As time went by found herself longing for her mother's guidance and care, started mending things with her. Their bond is still in repair, mending. Loading..
Morikiah Former adoptive Father, a relationship she never managed to mend after breaking ties with him. When she was disowned by the orange male she felt great hatred and disgust towards the male, only recently understanding the male's reasoning behind his actions. Hoping to mend things with him, however cannot find the courage to track him down after so long.
Thane Her guardian, her former lover, her dream in a nightmare. Her very first infatuation, love and the reason for many of her mental issues to this day. She was physically, emotionally and mentally abused by the Craftsman and yet she found herself returning to his side time after time. The Craftsman is the very reason why she was disowned by her surrogate family as she would not let him go even when her family pledged her to. There are days when she regrets ever getting to know the male and days when she would give anything to return to him. Stockholm syndrome. Ptsd.
Nikodim Her beast, her guardian, hers. He was her first friend and first to look after her after her arrival. Cherished the beast highly, loved even. Would have done anything to gain his full attention and affections. A forbidden fruit. Greatly missed.
Neiro Father of Kenai. What started off as a friendship between a beast and a fawn turned into something deeper, on her behalf at least. Grew fond of him, loved him and believed he felt the same for her. Got pregnant with his child and not long after received the news of him and another female being an item. Bitter towards, yet misses.
Beren Best friend. A relationship she has always valued highly. At one time harbored feelings for the wolf, keeping them to herself mostly as she did not wish to disturb the dynamics of the wolf's family.
Umay Considered a friend after being rejected by the lion mother, grateful for everything she has done for. The Blue eyes would no longer breathe and walk the earth if it wasn't for her. There are no words to describe the gratitude she feels for her.
Leviathann Another strong female she looks up to, admires and is forever grateful to. Distantly respects her as she doesn't dare to approach her after all this time.
Khard Lost friendship. Once rather close with the beast, but never dared to let him as close as he would have wanted to be. Breaking the beast's heart she parted ways with him, hoping to mend things with her beast. Missed.
Maelstrom Feared. Disgusted by. Heavily disliked. His target and victim. Was nearly killed by him.

Miyako smiled as the other one told her how they had met. Hearing nice things about her brother made her smile even wider. Deep down in his heart he was a good guy, a loving guy. But it took time to get through his hard shell. The young doe did not want to ruin Poplar's image of K by telling her that he might not have been entirely unselfish and sincere. He would be, in time.
"Your own hoof beats can be the most scary thing of all. They keep following you no matter how fast you run!" Obviously she had experienced the same and was trying to to turn it into a more humorous thing that it actually was. "It's nice to hear someone else is enjoying his big antlers like I do. You just may have yourself a nice protector there. " A nod. Miyako switched and turned as she tried to find a more comfortable position. When she finally did, she took a deep breath and laid her head to the ground.
Poplar picked up quickly on the humor, laughing as she added her own retort: "I am just glad my tail automatically stands up or I would be in real trouble." The thought of the thing bouncing against her back legs in a moment of danger would bring about the death of her, keeping her running for hours without thought that nobody had been chasing her. Silly as it was, it probably would have been the truth. As the deer watched the other settle she maneuvered herself a little to a position she found comfortable, but it looked contorted. Not only that, but wounds began to show. Unfazed, the doe groomed Miyako as she rested.
"He offered that... I told him it would be a lot of work." A chuckle, and the doe went back to grooming.
She let out a quiet chuckle and a slight shake of her head. Her tail wagged calmly as she peeked the other one from the corner of her eye, then closed her eyes again. The noise that came from Poplar trying to settle down more comfortably made Miyako to lift her head up and see where the sounds came from. Her eyes narrowed and a frown appeared on her face when she noticed those wounds. She lowered her head again, rested it to the ground. Her eyes were still on the other one's wounds. "That is true." The tone of her voice was more serious now, maybe a little concerned. "Did Maelstrom do that to you? " She enjoyed the grooming a lot, but the wounds distracted her and she wanted to know if those were caused by the one she thinks.
The doe finally noticed that her wounds were showing. Damn. "Yes. They're pretty ugly, don't you think? I am just waiting for them to heal so I can run around again." A sharp sigh and a shake of her head showed the discomfort at even having to wait for them to heal. "They're getting better though, so there's nothing to worry over anymore." Had it ever been? It was just an injury.
The deer continued grooming Miyako, trying to play off the wounds that brought her a little bit of fear. She did not ever want to meet Maelstrom ever again. He seemed to enjoy the torture. Miyako's fur was groomed gently yet anyone with nerves could feel the urgency in Poplar's movements... until she calmed herself with the repetitive movements.
"They are, indeed. He really can do much damage when wants to. That bull is just so big and powerful." The tone of her voice was quiet, yet strong. "Good, good. No infection there so it's all good then." She nodded determined and flashed a brief smile. Infection was never nice.
The yound doe was fully relaxed and she breathed calmly. The earlier mentioned bull loved to torture and wreck a havoc. At first Miyako was slightly fascinated by the male and his nature due to events with the male she fell in love with. Her vision of the most deep and intimate affection involved blood and abuse. That twisted her mind is.
Miyako peeked at her from the corner of her eye again wondering if she was okay. But did not ask about it when the other one finally calmed down. She lifted her head and inched closer to Poplar and started to nip her fur, gently.

The doe stood, shivering, but clinging to Miyako despite Adriian's onslaught. She was relieved when the big stag left her be. "I don't know what's going on, Miyako... everyone attacks me when that.. ah... Adriian called him Nikodim? When he is around they attack me too, and Nikodim seems to know me but I don't know him..." She babbled, fearful of everyone else around her.
"Nikodim is the reason why I loathed you as well. He is a mean, mean stag and yet we both followed him, loved him unconditionally. He is a threat to them and because you and I spent time with him they see us as a threat too. I had made my decision of which side I want to be." She kept staring at Adriian in case he was about to attack again. Miyako hoped she wasn't the only one who believed poplar when she had said she remembers nothing. She didn't deserve getting beat up for someone else's actions.
The doe peered at her friend, glad for the explanation that nobody else would give her. "That explains.... why I am not as fearful of him as I should be."They loved him. Yet Miya used to loathe her for loving him? Poplar took a deep breath, shuddering before she spoke. "We loved him... but... should we have?" Using her leg, the whitetail wiped tears off of her own face.
Poplar's first statement was left unanswered. Instead she kept on explaining to her things from the past. "We were fawns. Knew almost no one from here yet. He was there to protect us, to take care of us in his own way. In my eyes you stole him from me, how naive child I was." She shook her head with a grin on her face. "I have no answer to that one."
Listening, Poplar's ears flicked back and forth between words and showing emotions. Then, upon seeing Miyako grin, the doe let a smile of her own loosen the worry in her features. "So, he's kinda safe then. I just... encountered him. Pushy." Trying to make light of the situation might not work, but at least it was an attempt to break the past day's worth of fearful depression. Lowering her head again the doe looked at Miyako. "Thank you for actually explaining this... the others just wanted to attack me."
She nodded in agreement that the male was safe to be around if he wanted to be. During all this time she was still not sure what was going on in that big head of his. She noticed her smile and let out a brief chuckle, glad that she was able to make the other one relax even a bit. "You should still stay away from him. I do so too." A nod followed her words as if it made her words stronger. "I owe that to you like I do a lot more. It was a pleasure to clear things up for you."
"It seems a bit harsh to stay away from a father-figure... but I will take your word for it. It seems like he's troubled me in the past... and nobody likes him." Her face was colored with a brief frown before the doe pivoted her head to face the direction his scent came from. She shook her head and returned the gaze to her "sister," or so she thought of Miyako now that she knew they had grown up together. She'd probably never say it out loud, though. "It seems like I should probably just bed down and stay away from everyone when he's around. Now that I know I don't have to be protected from him." Good idea, idiot. You should have thought of that yesterday.
"Nikodim happened." A quiet whisper escaped her mouth. "I will be fine. Just fine." A faint smile visited her features right after she had finished her sentence.
Miyako smiled as the other
