O sorry he xD
Da'ww well whatever gender you choose Fifi, they really quiet the entertainer. I always though Phoenix was a male, not sure why but the character to me comes of manly |D
Ah! Donnovan! That big stag with the huge, terrifying antlers?! My Pheonix has never seen antlers so vast in all his 1000 years. Although he cant quite remember all those 1000 years. XD
Yes it was my little Pheonix "Fifi" that laid with you C:
I thought he seemed more of a he as well. C: keeping him a he then. Cute little near-black fawnboy. Hopping around everywhere. That's his new hobby.
"I think others are willing to sit and blankly stare ahead rather than take some time for conversation, they say it's more calming... Though I'd prefer talking to others more."
"I see. That sounds... kind of boring though, don't you think?" She pauses for a minute. "Um... if it's not too much trouble, you wouldn't be able to tell me the names of those two statues up there, would you?"
"It can be, but at other times it's quiet nice." Taking her time as her body turns towards the two large statues. Offering a short smile before turning back towards the other female. "They're twins, gods too. So I'm guessing the only fitting title for them would be The Twin Gods." shrugging after she spoke, the statue's names were something she never had to usually think about.
Foxtrot nods, her gaze fixing on the identical statues. "The Twin Gods," she mutters, as if testing out the name, feeling how it rolls off her tongue. "Yes, it does fit them quite well," the red doe muses, voice distant. Head tilting slightly, she turns her attention towards the female in front of her. "And what about your name?"
"My name, is nothing really special I assure you; It's simply Angel." Giving her tail a short pivoted flick, her curiosity was drawn towards the red doe's name rather than the two large statues near them. The ones that seemed to be staring down at them now. Only when she took notice of the two stones did they begin to alarm her. "How about you, mind telling me your name?"
She offers the female a broad smile. "Angel... that's a lovely name." The doe shifts on the spot, almost embarrassed at her own rather plain name. "You can call me Foxtrot," she says quietly, raising a hindleg to scratch absentmindedly at her side.
Curling a long tail that trailed behind her, the doe flashes a small smile back. "Why thank you, but your name is really exotic. I haven't heard of someone actually named Foxtort before, but I think your name suits you perfectly." Her smile turns into a short chuckle, sounding out the other doe's name in her head hoping she'd remember it's sound fully.
"Exotic? Really?" Foxtrot grins again, lifting a forelimb and tilting up the mask partially covering her face. "And that suits me? ... I kind of like the sound of that," the girl says, shifting her position on the grass and laying a foreleg out in front of her. "So... how long have you been here?" She's not the best at small talk, but eager to converse with someone.
”Mhh, it’s really a lovely name.” Giggling a bit nervously, she knew her memory was horrid. Often forgetting where things she even placed within a five minute time span were. The mere thought of remembering how long her days here have been would most likely be impossible for her standards.
”Well you see, ah…. I’ve been here for probably too long. Though I can’t really recall the exact amount of years I’ve spent in this forest they all seem to just fly by.” Her face looked delighted, happy with the answer she gave. ”I’m guessing you’re new here? Or I just don’t get around as much anymore as I thought I did.”
About to open her mouth to protest, she decides to shut it again, for once thinking before she speaks. "I imagine in a place like this it's easy to lose track of time," the doe sighs, accent becoming slightly more prominent as she stares off into the distance. "I only just arrived here... mm, yesterday? Yes, that's right. And the days are already blurring together."
“Only just arrived, my my… I would have guessed you’ve been here for at least a week. Cocking her head, as she stretched out her back. ”Seems to me that you’ve have learned your way around here pretty quickly. The days will seem endless to you once you’ve gotten used to this place. It’s like they just fall over into each other. Never a new day, strange isn’t it?,” directing her attention to a small patch of grass hidden under her frail body blowing on it for a while, then raising her head to stare back at the red doe.
Eyelids hooded, she lowers her gaze, staring at her own hoof for a while, as if she can't really fathom that it's hers. Accent thick now, she speaks again. "No, no... Oi'm still tryin' t' figure out how the forest just seems to repeat itself. It just goes 'round 'n' 'round - ye walk in a straight line, and five minutes later yer back where ye started." She pauses, tucking her foreleg underneath her body and untucking the other in one fluid motion. "Oi'm sure I'll get used to it, though."
Pinning her ears back, the accent caught her off guard. But didn’t frighten the doe, it intrigued her making Angel want to hear it more now. ”What an odd tone…” commenting to herself more than anyone else though keeping her voice loud enough to be heard. “This place, it’s like a roller-coaster. Going round and round, abnormal at first; but after a few rides you begin to yearn for its repetitive scenes.”
(I've actually decided to keep her accent like this always, because... I don't know, I like it. So, just a head's up. c: )
Foxtrot's nose twitches, and she finally looks up at Angel. "Hm?" She shakes her head, ears flicking this way and that. "Wouldn't've put it like that meself, but... that's pretty nice." She watches a butterfly pass, semi-interested, before opening her mouth again. "So, Oi haven't seen any kind of exit. Doesn't that mean we're trapped here? I mean... Ye must've come from somewhere - somewhere outside here, right? Don't ye wanna go back?"
Ears sticking to the sides of her slim face, halfway covered by a skull Angel didn’t bother remarking about the accent. Though she was still in awe about it; her tail flipping side to side stroking the ground, before stiffening at the questions; ”Trapped, well that depends on who you ask I suppose. I wouldn’t consider myself trapped. This place to me it’s like a safe haven, something more than a home. Crossing the right leg over her left one, and raising herself up into a more comfortable position. Her eyes slowly lowering back to the ground, ”I know there’s a way out, but you’re going to have to find it if you ever want to leave. Probably hidden really good too now that I think about it.”
She watches the doe as she tenses up, her brow furrowing while she speaks. "Oi suppose." Foxtrot nods slowly, processing each word individually now. Right now, any information is useful information. "Oi see. But, if Oi'm bein' honest here, where exactly would Oi go? Oi've no idea where I come from or even who Oi am." She sits up, stretching out her back and listening to the hollow pops in her bones. "Maybe it'd be best if Oi just stay put for now. Thanks fer ye help, though."
”I’ve heard some say it’s by the pond. Others in the first forest; though I doubt anyone really knows its exact location. My opinion is that if you stay you’ll love it here, but it differs for others. Giving a sigh as her body relaxes, her head softly hitting the ground has she lowered it.”I don’t think I was much help, but hey if you have any more questions on the matter. Even if it’s quiet an odd one I don’t mind answering the best I can.” Even with saying that, Angel hoped the whole discussion of finding an exit would die down.
"Oi think it'd be best if Oi just don't look fer it. Try an' settle in 'round here, y'know? Maybe one day I'll find it, but fer now... Oi'll just make do with livin' here." She nods, more to herself than to the other female. "An' no, no... ye really helped me. Thanks," Foxtrot gave her a wide grin, crinkling up her nose at the same time.
"I'm happy to hear you say that, I'm positive you won't regret a decision like that." Gleefully the doe scoffs. Tail setting its self down, curling around the doe's pale body like a blanket. "If you say so, would you care to know anything else about this place? Any statues that need to be named, any strange things that you can't explain?"
Foxtrot watches the doe's tail, turning her head briefly to eye her own rump and (lack of a) tail. She hadn't really paid much attention to tails up until now, until Angel's is in her direct line of sight. The red doe wonders where hers might've gone, and whether it was really important, but her train of thought is quickly derailed by the female's next question. "Mm... Not really, Oi don't -- oh! That big oak tree. D'you know why it makes that noise? It's nothin' important, Oi'm just... wonderin'."
Laughing briefly, the question was one she could answer without a sweat. ”Well you see, there’s a hoard of magic in that tree. So much that it can’t hold it all the time. To get rid of the extra magic the tree creates a lullaby sounding noise; deer that are close enough to hear the lovely music are somewhat enchanted. You see the big oak tree emanates its extra magic outward towards the deer. Causing different reactions to each one…” The doe couldn’t help but snicker a bit, sprouting a flashy smile after her little story.
Her eyes widen as the doe speaks, the green hue of her irises rivaling the blades of grass beneath her. "Magic," the doe murmurs, tipping her head back and stretching out her neck. "So, those glowin' lights... They're magic?" She shuts her eyes, liking the feeling of the sun against her cheeks.
Nodding her head, her laughter was still going strong. ”O yes, everything to do in this forest usually has magic flowing within it.” Trying her best to give off a creepy tone with her words, the doe stretches her back leg. Letting it bed out before snapping it back into place, ”Anything else?”
