She laughed quietly as his ears reacted to her touch; children were awful cute in such times. As his face came into contact with her neck, she leaned into his nudge slightly, before she shifted her weight so that she was even closer to him.

I have been well, in fact. Although...

The tattered form that was her tail curled around, seemingly encasing the both of them.

...I cannot deny that I have sorely missed you. Funny how a forest so large can feel so...empty without one known body in it.
