"You're quite welcome.. It's good to know you've made it alright."
The doe nestles nown near him, her wounds don't hurt so much anymore, they feel worthwhile.
She is content to rest there and continue to watch over the great stag, he still had a hard road of recovery it seemed.
The small white doe was alone again. She was not one to be very social and she accepted that others probably preferred better company. Again as usual she was not paying attention to where she was going. Her eyes focused mostly on her legs as she still limped from the sores that were there. Her head then bumped into the legs of another and she jumped back , ears flat. Before her was a lovely doe. She bowed low and with her head still down apologized."I am sorry, I really must learn to watch where I am walking"she said glancing up at the other with her sapphire eyes.

A little orange doe stood in the middle of the forest, looking up into the branches of a tree. It was some kind of odd tree, with nuts growing on them that she'd never seen before. She wondered if they had any medicinal purposes.. She'd have to try it when when one feel down.
She didn't even notice the white doe until she was bumped into. The little doe startled at first but grinned politely at the other, "It's alright."
Then, her eyes caught the wounds on her legs.. Seemed a lot of injured deer had been running into her lately. She needed to figure out this medicine stuff.
"Oh, my dear, are you alright?" she asked quitely, even though she knew it was a redundant question; she didn't know what else to say to make it any better.
She smiled and nodded"yes I am quite alright"she said pulling her legs together feeling subconscious about the wounds there though they were not nearly as noticeable as the bite marks on her neck and back. "I'll be alright, they are healing well"she said with a wide smile."Forgive me again, My name is Aria myst"she said with another bow. "I get lost in my head often, this is not the first time I've run into someone"she said feeling a bit embarrassed.

The doe nodded a little skeptically as she surveyed the rest of her wounds. "Pleasure to meet you, Aria myst, I'm Alani." she said with a little curtsey.
For a moment Alani wondered why so many seemed to be running into her lately.. Not that it bothered her all that much, she'd meet some nice deer after getting nearly plowed over.. "You're fine, I do blend in rather well.." Alani said, looking back up at the tree she'd been studying earlier. It was hard to tell by her tone if the doe meant the statement as a joke or if she truly believed she was that inconspicuous.
She smiled"It's a pleasure to meet you Alani"she said shifting her legs a little. When there was a small silence she looked away but turned back as the doe spoke again."Oh no no I was looking down, not paying attention, I am sure I would have seen you had I been watching where I was going"she said not wanting the other to feel at fault in any form.

Alani sighed, looking back at her coat with a slight frown. "Guess I'll never be stealthy." What a shame.
She looked back to the white doe, "You wouldn't happen to know what kind of tree this is, would you miss." Alani gestured at the tall tree with nuts that resembled walnuts.
She looked up and tilted her head"Oh my...I cannot recall I am sorry"she said her ears going flat.[colo=#ffcc33]"though if it ever comes back to me i will be sure to let you know"[/]she added with a smile.

"It's no problem, and thank you." Alani said with a polite dip of her head.
Once more she looked up at the tree, and then sighed. She'd have to experiment later.. Maybe there was something else she could find to work with.. The orange doe started looking around at her feet and the base of the tree.
Alani's head popped back up to regard the doe, her voice a little frustrated. "You see, I'm trying to learn about medicinal plants.. The only problem is I only know one and that's ginger root..."
Alani was no good in fights; she was scared of them in fact. She thought maybe, just maybe, if she could learn some healing remedies she could be of some use to her friends that always seemed to be injured.
"Oh?"she said a bit interested,"I too am curious though I have no knowledge of them at all"she said with a sigh"You think I would having had five fawns"she added with a laugh.

Alani smiled, she rarely ran into such polite deer. They seemed to be a rarity in this forest.
Blissfully unaware of social backwardness, Alani plopped right down next to the large tree. She cast a sideways glance at the doe, wondering if there had been somewhere specific she was wandering to..
Regardless, Alani picked off a leaf of a nearby plant and set it down in front of her to study it. First, she rubbed a bit of the pink skin above her foot with the plant knowing that it'd cause some itching and discomfort within a few minutes if it was poisonous.
