—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Bah, someday...by the power of Grey Skull! *shakefist* Sure, sounds good! I will be out and about soon, but I'll be online tonight for sure. cB Welp...as much as Sianna was asking for it, Nightmare is also. XD
Hey now, Nightmare's not that much of a Troublemaker :U He tries to avoid it... and sometimes tries to start it |D XD This time was just a case of wrong time to follow the giant rampaging monster <<
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
XD Nightmare's getting beat up more than anyone, at least mentally haha xD Though luckily he doesn't make it a prone thing to attack others <_<;;;; Pfffffffft, guy needs to take a break and relax... though with Nightmare that never happens xD
Him and Sorog need to sit down and just get wasted on whatever strong drink they can find haha xD
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Haha, yeah, that wouldn't be good. At least Nightmare has some control, even though he totally beat the crap out of a doe. D|
*grabs Shi by the shoulders, all crazy-eyed* You get Darcy's butt over to Sor! They need a man-talk, and bro-time! And beer! Lots and lots of beer to drink the pain away! :x
I have a feeling that Sor and Nightmare will never be "bros"; there's too much "I want to kill you!" tension that's always sparking between them...well, Sor, anyway. XD
LMAO! At least they are friends... somewhat... sorta... I dunno LMAO! XD And yes, Darcy get over there and Bromance with Sor B| And witness the damage of Nightmare's wrath! *shot* Have a couple dozen beers and drown in another hangover haha xD
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Bah, it's a complicated bromance for all of them. XD Oh man...yeah, on second thought Darcy probably shouldn't drink as much since he just had a massive poppy/shroom hangover, lol. Nightmare, on the other hand, can drink 'til he passes out. Then Darcy and Sor can bromance in peace!
You guys are nuts XD And yeah NICE FRIENDS trying to get him drunk again pffft >:c His mental condition is standing at the edge of a precipice right now, I can't imagine much bromancing going on. Come on D...we'll just be over here in our lonely corner of abandonment and loneliness -sob-
XD Nightmare wouldn't drink anything actually, that and he's more than likely going to avoid any poppy/shroom overdosing XD Doesn't want another Imma dress like Darcy moment xD haha
Hmmmmmmmm pfft, Darcy dun be that way get back there! XD
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Nooo, just one or two beers and he's good to go! Nightmare can have the whole keg; at least it'd mellow him out, haha XP Aw...don't be that wayyy. *drags you both back* We're gonna bromance the night away...someday...and you're gonna like it! >:3
Trillian is Goooooooooooood @_@ I love it, until it was to be a douche XD But then again I have like 9 IMs signed on at once... haha XD 2 MSNs, 4 YIMs and 3 AIMS xD It's so nice to just have them all signed in under 1 program haha XD

Sorog has done a lot of developing. It’s been great to see that happen. Interesting to learn more about his back story as well. You have great characters, Colbs! ^^
Gah...thank you so much, Lady, that means a lot! ;; ♥ It's a relief getting his backstory done, and I'm pretty happy with it! It's been a while since I made or finished a backstory for a character to be honest, so I got a feeling of accomplishment out of it.
I have NO idea what the hell just went on with my TEF but it had a huge sudden lag spike and then froze up. I think that might be a sign to gtfo xD anyway >_>;;;;

The beast had been unstable slightly through the day, there was something going on deep down inside his mind and the blue stag was slowly reverting back to what he was before he had made any friends. Emotionless, cold... cruel, aggressive. He had sought out the isolation close to the fountain but his senses had been on a high... alert to anything that would come nearby. The slightest movement was met with a deep growl or a snarl, one poor squirrel quickly scampering away before it was caught up by those disturbing hook jaws. When he had thought there was finally peace around, a scent caught that large opening for a nose and that head jerked to a side, sure enough... there was the striped stag close by. A low growl came out and the blue giant rose to his feet, roaring out in warning and stomping the ground before moving off.
It was like a game of cat and mouse, Nightmare would move... Sorog would follow slightly. And the game went on before the giant stag had gotten enough and took off, making his way to the playground where he skidded to a stop. Kicking up dirt with his claws and the deformed hoof of the newly attached leg on his body. That red haze carefully drifting upwards from his eyes as he snorted, puffing out a cloud of black smoke. Sorog didn't seem to come close around and the blue shaggy beast stalked around a rock for a moment, he had witnessed Sorog rubbing against it at some point and with his current frustrations. In a fury the stag lunged forward and slammed that skull against the stone, his hind end bucking up due to the impact... shoving his head against the rock a deep hiss came out of him. A shoving game really, Nightmare pushing with his weight against the stone before jerking back and charging forward again... ramming into the gray object with a heavy force, causing black to splash up on it and his body to jostle just from the impact. Another cloud of black forming up from his jaws before Nightmare jerked his head back hissing for a moment and moving away.
Sorog had come again and the beast didn't want to be caught in a moment where the other could openly get at his side. Lowering his head down, he stalked away from the stone a fine section of it covered with the black blood that seemed to be pooling out of the top of that skull of the others. He watched the striped stag, watched him paw at the ground... the sad expression... and then how he slowly started advancing forward. A hiss, and warnings... several swings of that massive head... clacking of the jaws. Finally the other stag seemed to wander off but that thick shag bristled when he saw the other climbing up and going onto the moss bed.
Stalking down along the bottom of the rocks, a thick growl came out as he walked along... Nightmare watching as the other carefully pawed at the newly grown moss before he climbed up himself... a slight bit of anger coming over him as the other had laid down... roaring out he jumped up and slammed those legs down hissing out again "Get off of here and GET the hell away from me..."

(Haha, no worries at all! It happens Mmf...I hope you don't mind if I reply tomorrow. It's past 4:30, and thus past my bedtime, hehe. I shall reply ASAP; g'night! cB)
[[ No worries at all haha, yeah I'm sure you noticed something going on because it was glitching REALLY badly for some odd reason so if Nightmare was walking in place or what not that would have been why >< I think my net hiccuped which caused the game to spasm xD Sorry for Nightmare's outright BITCHY attitude tonight <_<;;;; ]]
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
(No worries about Nightmare's bitchiness at all! After all, it's IC; Sor has his fair share of bitchiness as well )
What initially possessed Sorog to stalk the blue giant was a mystery even to himself. He wasn't sure why he wished to follow the agitated beast, but he did so regardless of any unforeseen consequences. The striped stag had followed Nightmare's overwhelmingly musky scent, and had observed him from afar. The power of Nightmare's senses were proven to be underestimated when the giant would immediately pick up on Sorog's own scent, or hear him approach, and promptly get up and move away. The beast's roars and stomps were no longer jarring. In fact, Sorog found himself being slightly amused by just how quickly the giant was to throw a fit.
After somehow losing Nightmare's trail for a while, Sorog gave up on his pursuit and made his way back to the playground. He had arrived shortly after Nightmare had viciously attacked the tall stone that he and Sianna had claimed. The blood on the stone was the first thing he noticed, and then the same dark fluid dripping from Nightmare's skull. Sorog's skin crawled at the sight; he was too shocked to be angry at Nightmare for defiling his territory. A feeling of concern began to brew inside the stag, much to his own surprise. Past events aside, he began to paw at the ground, tilting his head slightly as he wordlessly commanded Nightmare to come closer to him.
As expected, the giant refused, rearing and roaring as black blood pooled from his wicked skull. No matter how much Nightmare protested his presence, Sorog refused to back down. Catrin was right: he wouldn't attack or kill Sorog, not without good reason. And right now, he wasn't being a threat to the monstrous creature. The striped stag's eyes followed Nightmare's every movement, watching him slowly lumber along with his head hanging low. It was beginning to annoy Sorog, really...and then he figured out a sure way to get the beast's attention.
With surprising nimbleness, Sorog leapt up onto the large rock and began to lightly paw at the moss bed that Catrin apparently haunted, his eyes locked on Nightmare's hunched form. As predicted, this caught Nightmare's attention almost immediately. The initial leap was sudden, but Sorog was quick to move out of the way as Nightmare slammed his hooves down and spat. However, the striped stag did not leave the rock. Rather, he stood on the other side of the moss bed and eyed Nightmare coolly.
"And what will you do if I don't?" he replied evenly, his grey eyes measuring up the beast. A long sigh then escaped the stag, and he shook his nape. "Look, I never intended for Darcy to kick you out of his little circle of friends. That guy, he...overacts and drives himself insane because of it. It kills me to see him deteriorate and not be able to do anything about it," he murmured, his gaze shifting away for a moment. Since when did this become about Darcy? Why did he want to talk to Nightmare in the first place? He wasn't sure, but it felt like something that he needed to do.
[[ Haha both can be bitchy together It's a bitchy bromance! xD ]]
Listening, the beast snarled slightly... bone crunching against bone as those jaws grinded against one another. This was something Sianna saw... how uncontrollable and unpredictable he was... how much of a monster this beast could truly become. Catrin's words did ring true though, as cruel and unforgiving as the beast was right now he wasn't going to attack and kill. Attack to chase off yes, but anything else no... growling out deeply that head lowered down, revealing the severe cracks in that bone plate.
The name sparked up something and Nightmare jerked his head up a cloud of smoke coming from his mouth and eyes as he roared out sharply "I don't need him... I don't need you and I don't need anyone else to be my friend! I don't need anyone so back off and leave!" That temper, it flared so quickly and without warning... stomping on the ground the blue stag lowered his head down shoving forward... trying to push Sorog further away "Now leave... before I grab you and throw you off this damn rock..."
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
(A bitchy bromance, lol. It sounds so...so beautiful! ;-; )
The sight of the smoke pouring from Nightmare's skull triggered an automatic response from Sorog, and he backed up a couple of paces. It didn't matter if the smoke was red or not; to be on the safe side, he would not allow himself to breathe in any form of it. His grey eyes narrowed as the beast before him roared, remaining undeterred by Nightmare's attempts to scare him off. A soft snort escaped the striped stag, and he shook his head in sad amusement. "It disturbs me to know how much you and I are alike," he muttered.
A small flare of anger ignited within him when Nightmare attempted to shove him back, and with another snort Sorog reluctantly climbed back down the side of the rock. He glared up at the blue giant from below, that same piercing look in his eyes. "Yeah, I would always say that, too. I don't need him, her, them...anyone. Am I stronger for thinking that? Fuck no, I'm weaker. When I first arrived here, I was like you: cold and emotionless. But you know what? That got me nowhere. When everything was said and done, I was the loneliest and most pathetic creature in this fucking place."
Sighing heavily, Sorog shook his head and looked away. "I don't know what the hell I'm saying, really. All I know is that you and I are very much alike, and maybe it'd be best if we would stop going for each others' throats all the time. I mean, fuck, I can't relate to anyone in this place other than Sianna and you. So...yeah, I don't know. Whatever." He snorted again as he began to lose patience with himself.
[[ Oh man xD haha yes, Beautiful... and yet... so Terrifying at the same time <_<;;; ]]
Drawing his head up he watched as the other seemed to finally take the hint, though the words and lecturing that seemed to be coming from Sorog was only triggering more aggression and it irritated Nightmare. More so than the nagging voice in his head, Catrin screaming at him violently in a manner to try and get him to outright stop and listen to her. Normally he would, but it seemed even the spirit was unable to control the temper that had flared.
"Nightmare stop it damn it! Stop this at once, you are not meant to be this way!"
A thick snort came out of the giant as he lowered his head chuckling, a very... off putting chuckle... it sounded cold, cruel... violent, menacing. Dark... "Is this not what you've wanted me to become Catrin? You've been fucking with my mind ever since you died... toying with me, twisting me... shaping me... developing me into something that you wanted!" A thick growl came out of Nightmare as he glared over his shoulder, staring at nothing really as he slammed that normal leg of his down onto the moss, digging his claws into it and tearing the area up. A thick laugh bellowing from him "You wanted something to control didn't you mother?"
The beast was completely ignoring Sorog as this point, seeming to have a battle with the spirit in his mind. Though when the doe had not answered back he turned his attention down towards Sorog... moving and climbing down from the rocks as he growled out and carefully stalked over to the other head lowered down as he paced beside him "She screamed at me not to hurt you... begged me even... whatever conversation you had with her is clouding her senses..." A low growl came as he stalked past the other, tail whipping in front of the stags face as he went "Too bad she's dead, or I'm sure you two would have made such the lovely couple the bitch always did enjoy the violent men..."
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Nightmare was now speaking to Catrin, and a feeling of unease crept up Sorog's spine. He stared up at the blue giant in bewilderment as he argued with the spirit, and his eyes widening in shock as the enraged creature began to tear up the sacred moss bed. The cruel, cold laughter caused the striped stag to wince, and he slowly took a couple of steps back, his chest rising and falling quickly as he began to grow more anxious. This change of behavior, to this extremity, was not what the stag had expected to witness. This wasn't the Nightmare that he knew. It was something different...darker.
When the blue giant suddenly climbed down the rock, Sorog froze, his breath hitching as Nightmare slowly paced around him. His ears slid back as the beast spoke in such a hateful tone, his heart racing within his chest. Finally, he felt fear again around Nightmare, and for good reason. This was the Nightmare that was unfeeling and unpredictable. Sorog flinched as that tail flicked into his vision, his hooves planted firmly in the ground and his body tense. His mind screamed at him to fly, but he wouldn't. He refused to be a coward. If he were to fight Nightmare right then and there, then let it be so. No running, no hiding.
A snort of disgust suddenly sounded in response to Nightmare's last venom-filled remark, and Sorog whipped his head around to glare at the beast. "What the fuck is wrong with you? Aren't you listening to yourself right now?" Sorog growled, trying his best to not appear visibly shaken. "Just...calm down, okay?" He found himself backing up again, almost subconsciously, until his haunch pressed against the rock that he had claimed. And then, the feeling of being trapped settled in.
Yes, this wasn't the Nightmare that Sorog knew... colder, darker... a beast that had been born four years ago in this forest from the hatred of another. Over the course of four years this thing had slow disappeared from existence to be locked away deep inside the mind of the giant. Back then, he was a destructive... ravenous beast that held no remorse or regard for any life but his own... and his anger often boiled to the point that there was no reasoning with him. Slowly, the giant moved around and stalked beside the striped stag as he backed up against that tall rock... a low hiss coming out of him as that cruel chuckle came out again.
He stalked behind the rock, dragging the entire side of his body against it as he went hissing softly due to the rough texture as he round back around coming up to Sorog's right side that skull sliding out from behind the rock as he went "You said that were are deathly the same... do you still stand by that judgement? Or am I nothing like you?" A thick laugh came out before Nightmare slipped back around pacing by the stags form as he moved around... stalking, circling... like a hungry shark in the depths.
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
For perhaps the first time since he had arrived in the forest, Sorog did not attempt to defend what he had marked. No, it would be stupid to throw his life away for a damn rock, and so his eyes followed Nightmare warily. He watched the beast's movements, his anxiety growing whenever the blue giant would disappear from his peripheral vision. That cruel laughter was beginning to get under the stag's skin, and his ears slid back at the taunt.
"I don't know what to think anymore," he murmured, his tone being that of defeat. There was no point in arguing with this cold beast, or to even attempt to reason with him. It couldn't be done. "But I do know that this isn't who you really are. This side is taking over you, and before long it will consume you." Sorog paused, and briefly closed his eyes with a shuddering sigh. "Maybe, someday, I will have a similar fate. But you cannot escape the fact that we are practically one of the same. You know it...I know you do."
More laughter, before Nightmare slipped away from the rock... body and posture all set to show dominance. Display his body and make sure it was known that he was the powerful one of the two, raising that head high there was a low growl to come out of the other... consume him? A scoff came and he chuckled slightly... though that attention jerked away from the stag and back to the moss bed as he snarled slightly... smoke bellowing up from his jaws as he moved and lunged forward climbing up and slamming his claws down on the area... trampling the area as he roared out in aggravation. Heavy vore dug into the rock from that rage as he snarled and shook his head violently... the spirit must be getting to him and his anger was turned to the area in which she rested. A low growl coming from the beast as his attention turned to the cowering spirit, her eyes wide with fear... she had laid down on the rocks, appearing due to the rampage unleashed upon her death bed.
Lowering his head down he hissed out coldly, venom laced growls coming from him "I am so sick of you..." He muttered out, before watching the does spirit sink back into what remained of her moss bed. Snorting out deeply, the beast drew his head up glancing over his shoulder towards the striped stag "Then so be it... I don't have any friends anymore anyway... so what if I am consumed by the hatred again..." Nightmare snorted, for a moment... there seemed to be a hint of the old beast back in his words. Shaking his head again, he slipped off towards the back of the rock, jumping down and making his way down the hillside.
—
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
There was no question in Sorog's mind that Nightmare was the more powerful and dominant being. Instinctively, the striped stag's body remained slightly crouched, his ears pinned back to match the look of uncertainty and anxiousness on his face. A feeling of relief overcame him when Nightmare suddenly leaped back up onto the flat rock, although it was short-lived as the beast continued to tear at the moss bed and snarl in a barely controlled rage.
His gaze settled on Catrin's form, which had suddenly materialized amidst the chaos. She looked terrified, and continued to appear so even as she sank back into the rock woefully. The venom lacing Nightmare's words made Sorog's blood ran cold. At the beast's comment, the stag's eyes narrowed although he did not move from his position. "And if you're going to continue to hide and not fight this side of you, you'll always be lonely. This is your battle, Nightmare, but if you don't want to fight it...then so be it," he replied evenly, watching the beast slip from the rock and take his leave.
Letting out his breath, Sorog slowly sank to his knees beside the tall rock, his eyes squeezed shut as he fought to control his racing heart and mind. Shaking slightly, he pressed his body against the rock, curling around it for security. Normally he would never show signs of weakness, but it didn't matter now. It wasn't fear anymore, but frustration and anger. Regardless, both Sianna's and Catrin's words had inspired him: he and Nightmare were truly alike. Perhaps if he were to learn more about Nightmare, he would learn more about himself.
Yo Colby.♥
Any chance you can hop on msn for me a bit tonight? There's been a huge turn in regards to Sorog because of a roleplay that took place between Sianna and XVIII shortly after today's events that I gotta talk to you about. See if we can work some things out. xD Later <3
Oh, my apologies! I thought that it was Saosin; I couldn't seen the picto very well. I will change the activity thingy right away. Thanks for letting me know! ♥
Haha! Sorog was being a boob today, and he probably will be for a while. He's a little loopy at the moment XD Regardless, I'm flattered! Krystal is so brave, protecting her sister. Poor Djinn... Normally Sorog wouldn't attack does, but yeah, he's a little crazy right now, lol!

"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
Trraack.
(A bitchy bromance, lol. It
The sight of the smoke pouring from Nightmare's skull triggered an automatic response from Sorog, and he backed up a couple of paces.
Edit: Thank you for the track! ;; ♥
[[ Oh man xD haha yes,
"Nightmare stop it damn it!
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
(So true! XD) Nightmare was
Nightmare was now speaking to Catrin, and a feeling of unease crept up Sorog's spine.
Yes, this wasn't the
He stalked behind the rock, dragging the entire side of his body against it as he went hissing softly due to the rough texture as he round back around coming up to Sorog's right side that skull sliding out from behind the rock as he went "You said that were are deathly the same... do you still stand by that judgement? Or am I nothing like you?" A thick laugh came out before Nightmare slipped back around pacing by the stags form as he moved around... stalking, circling... like a hungry shark in the depths.
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
For perhaps the first time
"I don't know what to think anymore," he murmured, his tone being that of defeat.
More laughter, before
Lowering his head down he hissed out coldly, venom laced growls coming from him "I am so sick of you..." He muttered out, before watching the does spirit sink back into what remained of her moss bed.
"Your efforts are insignificant! I carry you to your deaths!"
There was no question in
His gaze settled on Catrin's form, which had suddenly materialized amidst the chaos.
Angst (and madness) happens~
