Lane cuddled up against the stags chest and stretched out her own neck alongside his. The doe let out a deep breath, tucking her legs under her small frame. At first she just lay there beside the sleeping male but she soon found herself drifting off as well. Turning onto her side she turned her back to the work and pressed up against Daneth. Closing her eyes she let out a long yawn before drifting into a lighter sleep.
Calida watched the fight on shaky legs, fear for all involved. A wolf? She notices Daneth's wounds bleeding badly with new ones added each moment the fight lingers. Afterwards she goes to Cadaver to check with him first, then over to Daneth, walking slowly and bowing in greetings. "May I help you with those wounds? You won't last long if you leave them be like that." she speaks softly, her face showing concern.

The big bull wasn’t moving much now, he’d had no business taking on a fight in his condition but it hadn’t been pride at stake but the safety of does who had come to him for protection. So he’d done his best. He recognized the little doe, not one that came to his herd much though. He shot baleful glares at the other male Cadaver, but not too stubborn to admit he’d be dead meat if not for him. To the little doe, “Sure darling,” he drawled harshly with his fatigue, likely sounding drunk, “You know something of medicine then?” Vivian and Nile had helped him as well but he wouldn’t refuse a lady anything really, plus he’d be the first to admit he enjoyed all the female attention.
She nods. "Yes, a bit. Enough to clean them and help prevent more blood loss. Just a sec." She dashed off to find some cool mosses and other herbs, returning with a bundle. She sets to work cleaning out his wounds, crushing the mosses and herbs into a paste-like substance to slather on the wounds, using the majority of it for the worst of it first before tending the shallow. "I learned this during my time in the shadow world. It helped me survive. It's not as advanced as others could probably do, but it's better than nothing." She tries to be careful, using her magic to lessen the pain (If you accept it of course), her feathers glowing blue with her power. It takes a while, but she eventually steps back to examine her work. "There you are. I know the Rut has been hard on every one." she plucks a feather from her head and lays it on the ground, making sure it touches him. "That feather won't heal it any faster, but it will help with the pain. When the glow dies, the magic will be gone. Probably 2 or 3 days. It's not much..." Calida seems sad she can't do more than this. She steps back some few paces then lays down, the magic in her connected feathers fading slowly as the light dims, only the one detached feather still glows. "If there's anything else I can do for you, please don't hesitate to ask."
The little doe ran off then was back again, mixing things, preparing things, he wondered if she’d turn around and pull out a sandwich for him, but no turns out it was medicine. He tried to hide his disappointment, supposed it was likely medicine that he needed anyways so didn’t complain as she poked and prodded at him. So fatigued and sore by this point he thought that must be why it didn’t hurt more than he thought it should, “ Shadow world huh?” he grunted, wondering if that was anything like the underworld, land of the dead. He noticed the glowing feathers, magic was not a new thing, there was always a lot of it in this forest but he frowned at it none the less, always having been a bit suspicious of and wary of magic he didn’t understand. The doe didn’t seem like she was trying to sacrifice him to Ammut or anything though so he watched her place the glowing feather next to him and didn’t complain. It did make him feel better too. Some of the pain went away, maybe it wasn’t just all blood loss after all. That was fine, he’d be all that more able to get up and fend off the wolf if it returned, “Thank you, darling, you’re right good with those plants and this feather is beautiful, I’ll keep it close,” he winked at the young doe, never too injured to speak to a female. “And don’t you worry your pretty little head, this is nothing, just some scratches, make yourself comfortable now and hang out with these fine ladies, I’m just going to rest my head for a while,” and he did so, closing his eyes and allowing himself to catch some rest now that wolf seemed to be chased off for now.
She smiles sweetly and blushes, not yet used to such sweet talk in her young inexperienced life. "Alright. Rest well. I'll help keep an eye out." She sighed softly, looking to the other does. she never truly met any of them but they seemed settled now that the danger is past for the moment. Her ears swivel around, keeping keen senses on the surroundings.

I thought I recognised that picto, but just couldn't put a name to it at the time. Laghodessa had some fun with Daneth and that mini yesterday. She doesn't usually get way from the ruins, so it was a good interraction. ^^
Faye turned her head and spotted a large, familiar black and white stag by the Crying Idol. Daneth.
But what in god's name was he doing?
As she circled back around to be in front of him, a quick giggle escaped her. "I hope I didn't interrupt anything."
Orchid eyes gazed down at the stag as she stood on higher ground.
"How have you been, Daneth?"

The bull stood knee deep in the cold river waters, raising his head from drinking when he was spoken too. Ah, a familiar golden doe met his gaze, “Hello, Faye,” he rumbled back and smiled, “And what would you be interrupting?” he asked splashing just a bit of the cold water up at her, ”I’ve been fine thanks,” he grinned, “And you?” his eyes looked her over for himself as he climbed onto the shore next to her.
"I am not quite sure. You seemed quite keen on that water." The doe laughed and greeted him with a quick nuzzle to his shoulder.
"I have been quite the stick in the mud, actually. My friend has been looking after me for the past couple of days. I have just gotten over my sickness."
The small doe let her eyes travel over his large form, as she did every time she was near. He was just so much larger then her. She seemed to find a new detail about him every time she was in his presence.
He peered at the waters a moment, “It’s purdy nice,”he drawled, giving her a crooked smile, “Very cold though,” someone had once told him this was the cleaner water to drink than the pond. He usually tried to drink from here. Usually but not always. Laziness had him drinking from the pond on occasion. He frowned when she said she’d been ill, “I’m sorry to hear that, good you had a friend to help you,” he bent to touch his muzzle to her withers with concern, “You’re feeling better though?” he was looking for signs of injury. Wanted to ask what was wrong but didn’t want to pry. She could tell him if she wanted to.

Oh? Well nothing to be sorry about, our response was completely in character, as far as I can recall Daneth and Nightmare where never chums? Always been a lot of animosity. Not to mention he had Vivian and Luyu under his protection at the moment, wasn’t going to put up with any potentially dangerous things around them.
No worries on that XD I don't remember much in the way of Nightmare's relationship with Daneth either to be honest ._. My brain is so foggy XD Nightmare was more so trying to avoid a fight (At least a serious one, he wouldn't mind a spar here or there these days). XD Again sorry for the whole coming over haha I can understand that in general, gotta protect everyone~ It's nice to see Daneth in the forest again by the way ^.^

Haha, honestly I had to wrack my brain a bit to try and remember exactly what their interactions where too, but yeah, I don’t think they were ever very friendly. That’s enough for Daneth to be his usual A-hole self when it comes to another male coming around when he’s in herd protection mode. He’s doesn’t mind sparring either really though so maybe another time. Good seeing Nightmare around too.
Maybe Nightmare can catch him at a better time XD It'd be interesting to see them have some sort of sparring match at some point perhaps. I think I recall them not being on the best of terms that's for sure, I just it's been so long in general that my poor goldfish brain completely forgets XD I'm trying to get back into coming into the forest somewhat during the morning/day and then poofing for the night so you will hopefully be seeing Nightmare more often these days
