Even though she doesn't remember him, he still cares a lot about her and wants to protect her. He's stubborn like that.
Overcome with sadness, the doe was defeated, emotionally destroyed, or so it felt. - She should of been adapted to this way of life by now; good days, good weeks, months even, and then it would all come crashing down quicker than she'd been able to pull deer down, up into a new light. Perhaps somewhere deep down she craved this, loved the taste of it, but with so many emotions clustering at once, that desire became washed out until something, anything, renewed her lust for a new partner. Then she'd be able to stomp on the past... stomp on Morikiah, not let him rule her mind, drag her down.
"Judas...", the doe calls, her voice just above a whisper. "Everything that happened before... I'm sorry". Usually, Sianna would of recapped, but her memory was faulty, she was unable to remember the details that caused her and the stag to split. She had been occupying herself with other deer, other drama, other letdowns. "Can we... start over? I want you more than anything, I am nothing without you, I'm not complete. You have no idea what I've been going through. I cry every night, I try to fill this empty void since I've lost you, and only you can fill this vast, empty space in my heart once more". The doe spoke as if she had once exchanged words of commitment, though due to her mind being in 101 different places, still wasn't entirely sure if they ever did. Either way, he'd know how she felt. "Please...".
The stag was relaxed, resting against the tree they were near as she spoke. Small lights that served as eyes panned over to stare of the doe who, just a few weeks earlier, pulled him into her little game. He was no fool. He knew just how she was, he knew just what she was trying to pull - but that was no matter to him. All this amused him, but at the same time he found himself taking her apology to heart.
He dipped his head slightly to look at the ground below him, a hollow chuckle breaking his silence as his attention turned to Sianna, "Start over, huh?" He asked quietly, hardly letting any emotion make itself present in his voice. He was conflicted. The stag knew what drama this could bring on, but at the same time, it made him curious. Was she telling the truth, or was she just unbearably lonely and craved someone to go to? "...I don't see why not." He admitted, looking forward once more as he recapped her words in his mind. He was never needed before. It felt oddly nice.
"I don't see why I can't give you another chance."
Some part of her thought this would end in rejection, yet as he accepted, she was put right back up on her high horse. She felt undeniable, invincible. The only thing on her mind now was to fully repair what had been broken, and then seek revenge upon Morikiah. All in due time.
"I'm glad you accept", a smirk forms beneath her mask. "We will make for a sexy couple, everyone will be jealous of us". Of course, that statement was far from true, but either way, she felt like a queen now, high and powerful, untouchable.
He couldn't help but laugh, this was going to be wayyy too much fun to him. If he could smirk, you better believe he would be right now. Sadly, the lack of skin and muscle on and around his "face" made that impossible for him.
"Sexy couple, huh?" The stag rolled his shoulders, taking pleasure in the sound of the bones cracking in response, "I think I can get used to something like that."
"Oh, don't start playing that damn game with me, bitch. I was lowering my antlers at you so you'd back up so she wouldn't bark her bullshit anymore. I'm sorry my obvious hollering back her wasn't good enough for you."
"I expect you to attack deer like that, not stand there like some mentally challenged hick with a stick up his ass. Get it right... anyways, Levi deserved to get her dyke face smashed into the ground, but oh no.... not by my mate. Now there will be talk flying left and right about how much of a pushover you are".
